MORAL COURAGE OR DIVINE INTERVENTION?
What happened aboard FlyDubai flight FZ1073 could have ended in unimaginable tragedy. Instead, through extraordinary courage and intervention, the passengers made it safely home. Asher reflects on the dramatic events aboard FlyDubai Flight FZ1073 and the remarkable courage and intervention that prevented what could have been a terrible tragedy. here is also a larger strategic prayer point we don’t want to miss. This incident comes at a significant moment as Israel’s relationships with the UAE and Saudi Arabia continue to develop, and we have seen before how violence can threaten these growing relationships. Whatever the investigation ultimately reveals, please pray that this event would not create fear and division, but instead strengthen these strategic relationships, deepen cooperation, and become another testimony of God bringing good out of what could have ended in tragedy. We thank God that tragedy was prevented and so many lives were spared.

Arrows from Zion Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries
Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

Cookie Schwaeber-Issan in the Jerusalem Post Averted Flydubai tragedy showcases the bravery of the Israeli people | In All Israel News Are entertainers next on the chopping block?

Sally Shiff is a personal ministry within the HaMaayan congregation in Kfar Saba sends a Youtube video that show “it was not 1 miracle, but rather a number of miracles that constituted “the Miracle” of the FlyDubai” intervention by God on behalf of 174 mostly Israelis during the Feast of Tabernacles. God is showing great favor to Israel before the face of an unbelieving world. VIDEO here. While the world in unbelief says it was all planned by Israel , the Israelis on that plane believe in miracles, here is the video of them giving glory to God upon landing.

Avner & Rachel Boskey of David’s Tent, with David sharing Tabernacles —Egypt and the nations versus Jerusalem |Tabernacles is known as the worldwide feast when all the nations will come up to Jerusalem to worship Yeshua the Messiah of Israel. Zechariah 14:16 indeed proclaims this future prophetic day.
“. . . .In 1950 American folk-singer Ed McCurdy wrote a ‘peace anthem’, later recorded by Simon & Garfunkel, Joan Baez and Johnny Cash:
Last night I had the strangest dream I ever dreamed before
I dreamed the world had all agreed to put an end to war I dreamed I saw a mighty room, and the room was filled with men
And the paper they were signing said they’d never fight again
And when the papers were all signed and a million copies made
They all joined hands end bowed their heads and grateful prayers were prayed
And the people in the streets below were dancing round and round
While swords and gun and uniforms were scattered on the ground
The wish for peace is strong in every age. But when we look at history through YHVH’s eyes, we see that the Hebrew prophets spoke of the sobering realities of ‘war, wars and rumors of war’ all increasing at the end of the age….God’s sovereign plan involves breaking the strength of the world’s superpowers: “It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured” . . . .“And on that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem” (Zechariah 12:9).
“. . . .An international ‘October 7’ | Zechariah 14:1-2. . . .describes an international military conquest of Jerusalem carried out by a global consortium. Like Hamas’ demonic atrocities of October 7, 2023, this international attack will involve vicious murder, indiscriminate sexual violence, destruction of buildings and houses, and mass exile of half of Jerusalem’s Jewish population (similar to Hamas’ recent cruel taking of hostages).
“. . . .The Hebrew army and the Twilight Zone | Zechariah 12-14 sketches out for us how YHVH will actively intervene on behalf of the Jewish people, strengthening them with a victorious warrior-anointing for the onset of battle. . . .At the height of the battle, Messiah Yeshua will personally return to David’s City as Warrior King, ruling over the nations from Jerusalem, the Jewish world capital.”
Donna: I am obviously leaving out a lot of the details and the scripture verses, but you can read it in full online.

Reuven and MaryLou Doron of OneNewManToday. Read Reuven Doron’s 2021 article on the prophetic significance of Sukkot | Reuven sends two updates: In the sent on 10/1 God’s Mysteries Unfold, Reuven has put a small portion of the newsletter on his Facebook page and he does speak to the FlyDubai flight that unfolded over Saudi airspace. You know what that means – the Islamist suicide terror attacker meant to crash it into Saudi land – a message meant for Israel and Saudi Arabia to not normalize relations. As Reuven wrote, “This could have been an Israeli version of 911. Thank you for your prayers! You never know how your simple daily prayers for Israel can be translated into miraculous events by the hand of the Lord of Hosts.”
Reuven also speaks to the growing isolation of Israel in the world of nations. For those who don’t believe how close we may actually be starting to go through the prophesied “last days” they only don’t know because they do not really believe how much of this can be seen only if we are watching with great care and compassion what is happening in Israel. I trust all of you on this mailing list are among those. It I time we sat up to alert. Once again, email Reuven to sign up for his newletter so you never miss the outstanding insights he has to offer.
On 9/24 The Last Generation | When will it be? In Our Lifetime? |”…The Word says that when “the Lord has built up Zion, (only then) He has appeared in His glory.” (v 16). The rebuilding of Zion speaks of the restoration of the children of Israel rebuilding our national life under fire, and returning back to our God in our own homeland. More than that, this Psalm tells us that the miracle of the rebuilding of Zion is intimately linked and undeniably connected to the appearance of God in the fullness of His glory upon the earth. …“This will be written for the generation to come; that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.” (Psalm 102:18). The phrase “the generation to come” in the original Hebrew text reads “Le’dor A’cha’ron,” which literally means that these things were written “to the last generation!” ….Therefore, as incredible as it may sound, the Scripture clearly tells us that the generation that sees the restoration of the nation of Israel could very well also see the coming of God’s glory to earth. [There is much more in this newsletter, but to read it you will have to email Reuven to ask for it. I couldn’t find a copy online.

Arni & Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way are just back in from Uganda which they have been calling their second home as God has called them to invest in the Africa church. Arni writes: “…we sense there may be a need to for us reiterate the purpose of our investing as we are in Africa. The goal, the endpoint, is simply that God will have a dwelling place in Zion such that His Presence will remove the blindness from the eyes of all those in Israel who love the truth and long for His appearing. From the first days of our aliyah 34 years ago we have carried a burden for the lost seeking youth in the Land. To that end in 1994 we put together an evangelistic street presentation, wrote and published our testimony in Hebrew, and recorded an album of original Hebrew songs for seekers. Much to our surprise, God sovereignly stepped in and altered our course saying that there were things in the heavens and on the earth that needed to be shifted so that the message of salvation could be heard, received, and rightly applied. “Come and minister to me and I will prepare the way for the message.” Additionally, Scripture tells us that the removal of Israel’s blindness is connected to, if not contingent upon, the grafted-in nations coming to fullness. We understand that their fullness is to understand that their number-one priority is to come alongside Israel, bearing the burden of their calling to be and prepare a dwelling place for the Lord. We’ve been impressed with sufficient confirmation (see the link at the end of this letter) that God is calling for the Body of Messiah in Africa to align with His heart and play their ordained part in the removal of Israel’s partial blindness.
DONNA: To include the explanation of the teaching seminars they are doing in Uganda would take more space than I have here, but I encourage you to email Arni and ask for the full newsletter version, or subscription. I can tell you they haverecorded these messages and are sharing in other nations. In fact Arni writes, “Given the excellent quality of the recorded messages and our inability to be in more than one place at a time, a group can watch it together and go through processing it as if it were all live. The same can be done on a Zoom format. Liz Rhodes, Emmaus Way’s US administrator, wants to help facilitate virtual seminar gatherings. Anyone interested in participating in such a format can contacting her directly at EWay4US@gmail.com.
Our next trip will be from October 30th to the first week in December. We already have three, possibly four, seminars scheduled as well as numerous ongoing private and group meetings with those that have been touched by the Lord along the way….Thankfully, as we’ve shared, our fixed expenses on the ground are covered. We however remain in need of continuing contributions to cover translating, printing, and the four yearly round-trip plane fares plus travel insurance for “papa arni and mama yonit.” If anyone would like to follow our African journey and pray for us on a day-to-day basis during the trips, if you send us your WhatsApp contact we will be glad to add you to the Africa Calling thread.
ALSO we have compiled the various events over the years that have led us to believe that what we think has come from God has truly come from God. Following is a link to a recording of some of these high points in our life. It’s on our home page as “God’s Confirmations”

Guy Cohen of the Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco sends out his weekly teachings in a subscription email you can sign up for on the website linked above. Guy is someone I have met several times over the two decades I have followed him. His humility and anointing has always been noticeable to me. Guy is native Israeli from a rabbinic family ministering in his own hometown. Over the years I have watched him mature into an even more richly anointed, humble man of God. I do greatly recommend signing up for his prayer letters and also following him online on Facebook where you can access some his weekly teachings. I’ve even re-published several of them on my blog – with his permission of course!

Avi & Chaya Mizrachi of Dugit Ministries wrote on 10/2 As we look back on the Feast of Tabernacles, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We had the special privilege of taking part in the ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles conference in Jerusalem, joining believers and leaders from around the world for a powerful time of prayer, worship and fellowship. For us, as Israeli Messianic believers, it was especially meaningful to stand in Jerusalem and pray for the nations. Yeshua said: “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
Avi also had the opportunity to share about the importance of praying for the peace of Jerusalem and continuing to stand in prayer for Israel. We do not take opportunities like this for granted. For many years, believers from around the world have prayed for Israel, supported Israel and faithfully stood with the Jewish people. What a blessing it was for us, as Israeli believers in Yeshua, to pray for the nations in return. We are deeply thankful to ICEJ for welcoming us and giving us the privilege of taking part in this special gathering.
And as October 7 approaches next week, we ask you once again to stand with us in prayer for Israel.
9/18 “This week, young Israelis from all over Israel came together to spend time worshiping the Lord, connecting with one another, and encouraging each other in their faith. We are so happy to launch this monthly gathering for young adults – an evening of worship, praise, pizza, and fellowship! You may not realize just how significant this is. About 50 years ago, there were only a handful of young Israeli Jews who believed in Yeshua. They gathered in small groups, and because the believing community was so small, almost everyone knew each another.
But today, things are different. Young believers come to congregations, events, conferences, and worship evenings – and they are constantly meeting someone new! What a beautiful reminder that the Good News of our Savior Yeshua is spreading throughout Israel. God is at work, and we are so thankful to witness it! Please continue to pray with us for the young generation in Israel – that they would come to know Yeshua personally, grow strong in their faith, and boldly share the Good News with those around them. “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.” Romans 10:1

Eitan Shishkoff, Joel Jelski & Ruby Bishai of Fields of Wheat send in two report 9/20 Joel writes of the ministry “undergoing significant growth personally and as a team. Both Joel and Ruby were able to purchase homes in Katzrin where their Harvester’s ministry house is also located. Joel’s family in a small townhouse and single Ruby in an apartment. This is a huge step forward in both being able to put down roots when they are building a team and ministry center in the region. They have also added a new team member, Sammer, an Arab Israeli Christian leader from Nazareth. Ruby and Smmer have been working together for a few years and he has caught the vision Ruby has for establishing an Arab-speaking youth camp as Katzir is for Jewish Israelis. Also they added Nicole Prival at 27 year old who has volunteered in the Katzir camps over the years. [The next Zoom prayer meeting is October 14th, 6pm Israel time. We will meet on zoom to share about the conference, to catch the heart behind it. You will get to meet Sammer, hear from Ruby, and pray with us for the gathering.]
Then Ruby shared in a 10/2 prayer letter: “It is urgent that we invest in the next generation. That is why investing in the next generation of Arab believers matters so deeply to me. Our community has much to be proud of. We value education, and our young people have pursued opportunities their parents and grandparents could only have imagined. I’m grateful for that progress. Yet alongside those opportunities, I’ve seen a growing uncertainty about where we belong. Crime and insecurity in Arab towns weigh on families. Some feel disconnected from the Israel that has been their home, and doubtful that they can help shape its future. For an established professional with young children, the possibility of a safer, more stable life abroad can be hard to ignore. I understand why people leave. These are difficult decisions, often made out of love for their families. But their absence is felt deeply in a local church, and in the wider community—both Arab and Jewish. . . . And I want young Arab believers to see a future here that they are excited to help build. I believe Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people. I also know that my family and my community have deep roots in this land. This is our home too, and we have a responsibility to love our neighbors and contribute to its future.
. . . . When Jewish people discover that I am an Arab Christian who believes in Yeshua, they often have questions. We speak in Hebrew, get to know one another, and assumptions begin to give way to a real conversation. Many times, that has opened a door for me to share my faith. I’m convinced that Arab believers have an irreplaceable contribution to make to the body of Messiah in Israel. We can help Christians around the world understand this land more personally, and we can bear witness to Yeshua among our Jewish neighbors through the relationships we build every day.
I want the next generation to discover that calling for themselves. In two weeks, we are taking a step we have prayed about for years. On October 15–17, Fields of Wheat will hold our first conference for Arab Christian young adults. . . . Please pray for us in the days leading up to the conference, throughout October 15–17, and afterward as we continue walking with those who attend. We plan to gather on Zoom for prayer the day before the conference (Wednesday, October 14) and will share those details with you soon. Connect here to get more information

Chaim Malespin of the Faithful Galilean & Aliyah Return Center send this VIDEO: A miracle story from the sky! Sukkot Miracle-Terror in the Sky Thwarted.
Chaim wrote 9/18 about the Day of Atonement commanded by God in Leviticus 16:30-31was to be a day of cleansing for all of Israel. Written on 9/18 Chaim asked, “Please keep Israel in prayer this Yom Kippur, that as a nation we will draw closer to God. Not in outward practice, but from deep within our hearts. That our stony hearts would become soft, as is prophesied in Ezekiel 36:24-26.“Aliyah is part of the cleansing and redemption of Israel, as Ezekiel spoke about. All that we are doing together by helping the Jewish people come home and be established here has been prophesied by ancient prophets that have been read over and over again. And it is only in our day that we get to witness the unfolding of these ancient prophecies! How amazing is that? As we reflect on Yom Kippur and the incredible story God is unfolding before our eyes, we invite you to be part of it. Your giving helps us continue to serve the Jewish people, welcome them home, and help them become established in the land God promised to their fathers.”

Dani & LuAnne Sayag of the Carmel Congregation write “During this season, we also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to each of you. Your prayers, friendship, encouragement, and faithful support are precious to us. You are an important part of the Kehilat HaCarmel family and of all that God is doing through this ministry. We do not take your partnership for granted, and we continually thank the Lord for you.” Visit HaCarmel’s YouTube channel for weekly services, events, teachings.

Youval and Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel, a discipleship ministry, have been Rejoicing in His Presence during Sukkot> They write, “As we celebrate together, we rejoice in who He is, in His presence among us, and in His faithfulness through every season. We also had the opportunity to take part in a large local festival, where we brought our market stand and served fresh salads made with vegetables harvested from the farm. It was a beautiful way to bring the life of the farm into the wider community, meet new people, and share something of what God is doing here.
One thing very much on our hearts right now is the upcoming discipleship program. We have begun praying seriously for the young people the Lord will bring and asking Him to give us clear direction as we prepare. We are also thankful to welcome a new team member who will serve alongside us during this time. Our desire is that each young person who comes would meet Yeshua in a deeper way, be strengthened in His Word, and leave with a clearer sense of how to follow Him with their whole life. Please pray and give thanks with us: For the joy of Sukkot and for His presence among our community.| For Hadass as she begins her studies and enters a new season.| For wisdom and clear direction as we prepare for the discipleship program.|For the new team member joining us and for unity among everyone who will serve.| For the young people the Lord is drawing, that their hearts would already be prepared to seek Yeshua and grow in Him. Jennifer and Eliahu Guetta of Plant Hope Israel write: We celebrated a very anointed Feast of Trumpets in Jerusalem. This year, joy filled the celebration from the start. We also spent time in deep repentance, blew the shofar, and danced to “Days of Elijah.” Our amazing team shared a strong sense of unity and experienced the Lord’s presence and the Glory of God as we worshipped Him by the Menorah’s light. Filmed for Succat Hallel’s and Jennifer’s YouTube channels, the feast has already reached 12,000 viewers and inspired people worldwide to celebrate. We invite you to watch on YouTube.
Two days later! The testimony about the Feast of Trumpets and what is happening in Jerusalem aired on Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural. WATCH HERE. I discuss my testimony, the mystery of “TIME” in the physical and spiritual worlds, the Feast’s meaning, preparing the bride for Jesus’ return, dreams and visions, and our times. I also prayed against cancer, and God is doing great miracles in many places! The Lord blessed the program, which has now been watched 91,000 times, inspiring many to learn about Jesus’ love and the feasts. That same day, my testimony aired on Come Home with Jenny Mallan on TV channels across America. Watch here
Thank You! Through these broadcasts, we reached many people with the gospel and inspired thousands about Jesus, Israel, and the Lord’s feasts. It was such a busy week, and all the glory goes to God! With all my heart, I want to thank you, partners and sponsors, who helped make this possible. If you want to keep helping us shine the light of Yeshua in Israel, please click HERE.

Moti Cohen and the team at Tiferet Yeshua write on 9/25: “As we were preparing our hearts for a time of fasting and intercession on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), our team realized that several new believers who went through discipleship at Tiferet Yeshua had powerful experiences on the Day of Atonement which led them to discover Yeshua as the Messiah. The most recent was a young man from a religious background with whom Kosta and I met for discipleship just last week. We believe that God touched the hearts of many more people this Yom Kippur, people who are truly hungry for a real connection with God or feel weighed down by the burden of sin. Please join us in praying for a spiritual awakening among Jewish seekers in Israel and around the world.
Prophetic scripture reveals that the Lord Yeshua is returning to dwell or “tabernacle” among all people at the end of the age: ’Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,’ says the Lord. ‘Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.’ -Zechariah 2:10-11
Sukkot points to the ultimate fulfillment of the prayer Yeshua taught us, “Let Your kingdom come.” The greatest joy that we can know is Yeshua ruling over the earth in justice, truth and love, filling the earth with peace and the knowledge of the LORD.We want to thank you for your prayers, love and support. Whether discipling new believers, feeding the homeless in south Tel Aviv, or raising up anointed Hebrew worshippers, we are encouraged and blessed to know you are standing together with us.

Kobi and Shani Ferguson of Maoz Israel ministries write, This World is not Your Home. “Sukkot is a fun holiday where we build flimsy outdoor structures and relive the story of God’s faithfulness in the wilderness. It’s worth noting that God didn’t save Israel from the wilderness. He took care of them while He kept them there – for 40 years. You can see where a life metaphor would work here…This “dry season” was purposed to detox from the slavery mindset and instill the ways of God in His people. It was a strange time where battles were won by raising hands and snakes bites were cured by looking at a staff. Water came from the ground and nutrition came from the sky. Clothes and shoes did not wear out. There was a promised destination but no strategy of how to get there. The basic instructions were, “Watch and follow the pillar of smoke and fire” – with no explanation of when or why it would move.
Everyone understood the desert was temporary – just like this world for us is temporary. While they waited – the people studied the Law of God. And the Levites established worship and the tabernacle. While they waited – the people studied the Law of God. And the Levites established worship and the tabernacle.
This week believers all over Israel will join Yuval’s Fall Festival as we did last year to fellowship and worship. Maoz Music, will be leading songs in Hebrew and Arabic (photo above) together with other worship teams Yuval Arts, Emanuel Roro and SOLU. Worship events like this are just a part of the vision to see worship all over the land – as in the days of the Bible.

For most of the 25 years I have been producing a weekly summary of prayer requests from the Israeli ministries, it has been on a weekly basis. It was in the Spring of 2026 that I cut back to only producing this letter every two weeks. I did it because I have learned a lot in those 25 years of pouring over the newsletters and prayer requests from the Messianic Jews and Christian Arab ministries that I report on. I needed more time to write about what I have learned. Time is running short and Christians need to know quickly what they don’t even know they need to know!
Someone years ago gave me Psalm 118:7 “The Lord is for me among those who help me.” What that means is when people give into a ministry like mine, like the Israeli ministries, it is like a direct deposit from the LORD. He works through people. It takes financial support to do any ministry. When people give support from their own money, it is the LORD prospering us to do even more. Thank you to those who give because your financial gifts make it possible to do what God has called me to do.
