    A Death in Zion

Recently I heard tragic news from my Israeli friend and long-time Christian Zionist Jim Schutz. He and his wife had just buried their beloved and only son David on August 12th in Jerusalem. The news shook me. It has been a long, hard season of deaths in Israel. There have been many funerals and many bereaved parents grieving the loss of their children. Psalm 34:18 assures us that, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” He stands close to many in Zion today. Continues in articles

Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

    BenderRonit2026 (84 x 100).jpg

Ronit Bender, a personal evangelist & congregant in the HaCarmel congregation writes, “What works among Israelis is  FRIENDSHIP EVANGELISM. It means that people are curious to know about the Lord because they see that you are different than what they’ve heard regarding Christianity. My people have been so wounded in the name of Christ that their hearts are closed, however, God knows the KEY to opening each individual’s heart. The truth is that hardly a day goes by without me reaching out to Israelis, but there’s no pulpit or altar call, I just love people!  They might give their hearts to Yeshua [Jesus] long after I left the earth, but SEEDS ARE SOWN DAILY, and for that I need your prayers! One person sows and another waters. That’s us!
In a recent day trip with a couple she has been witnessing to and praying for over many years, Ronit wrote about the day trips she takes with them, “It is not too exciting say the least, but by spending time with them, I have opportunities to speak into their lives in a godly way. God and I refuse to give up on them! I am so grateful that you continue to pray for their salvation and for their families. Our most recent trip was last Saturday. We visited a place in northern Israel called, Shavei Tzion, where I lived between the ages of 4 and 10. When my parents divorced they put me in foster care. That place, was not connected to wars, tension and missiles, but a small haven for a little 4 year old girl, away from her parents, growing up with no deep roots. I was moved around a lot over those years. One memory I have from then is when we planted little trees on top of the bunker where we hid from bombing airplanes that flew very low looking for targets. It was 1956, the Sinai war. We slept in our clothes, as they transfered us in the middle of the night to the bunker or shelter. Over the years when visiting I saw it: my little tree had grown the tallest.
Last week, when visiting my Jewish friend Lina’s salon, I met Amar. When she saw me she ran to me throwing her arms around my neck as I sat down, and wanted to greet me with a kiss. Amar is an 8 years old, autistic child.  You can imagine the astonishment of the women in the salon. Amar was deserted by her mother, and now her aunt is raising her. I was in tears as I left the place, thinking about my own life, how my parents gave me up. They could have raised me but it was not convenient. Maybe Amar felt something regarding her parents, but we will never know. . . .This little girl touched a spot in my heart. Please pray that Yeshua move upon her for salvation, He can reach her in a way that only the Creator can. Her family is Arab. Pray for her whole family.
When I went to sleep last night, I do not know if a war will break out. Last week, it looked certain. However President Trump changed his mind [again]. It seems we have extended the fragile peace. I mean fragile. The suspense affects everything we do, but we live the best we can. For example, Israelis who are planning to go abroad are not sure until the last minute if it will happen for them. The Americans keep sending planes to refuel, and they occupy the space of passenger planes, thus many tickets continue to be cancelled at the last minute or deferred. I do not think you in the nations really understand what we are going through, but in one sense you pray with a sincere heart, not under pressure… like us. We struggle with counting “it all joy” with these trials (James 1:2).
Donna: Ronit is a widow. She is not a big ministry, but she is planting the seeds of salvation every day and is good soil for you to plant seed in both prayer and financial support. Email her for donation info.

Chaim Malespin of Faithful Galileans & Aliyah Return Center writes. “The Holy of Holies: Face to Face” | In the inner court, past the golden altar of incense, there was a veil that separated us from the Holy of Holies. Within the Holy of Holies stood the Ark of the Covenant, which was extremely significant and sacred. . . .The last mention of the location of the Ark of the Covenant in Scripture is during the reign of King Josiah, when it was placed back in King Solomon’s Temple. It is not known whether it was captured, hidden, or removed in some other way after this. Yet although the earthly Ark disappeared from history, Scripture gives us one final and extraordinary glimpse of the Ark of God’s covenant. John, one of Yeshua’s disciples, later had a vision in which he saw the Ark of the Covenant in heaven: “Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple.” Rev 11:19 Could it be that the Ark of the Covenant was a shadow of the one in heaven? When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,” we are asking for the realities of heaven to be manifested on earth.
Even more fascinating is a prophecy from Jeremiah concerning the Ark of the Covenant: “Declares the Lord, they shall no more say, ‘The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again. At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem.” Jer 3:16–17
. . . . From the Garden of Eden, to the Tabernacle, to the Holy of Holies, Scripture reveals God’s desire to dwell among His people. . . .And then suddenly something happened that made a way for all of us to enter in. When Yeshua breathed His last on the cross, the curtain of the Temple, the thick and heavy veil that had separated the Holy of Holies from the rest of the world, was torn in two, from top to bottom. God made a way for all of us to enter into His presence, where we can humbly, in the fear of the Lord, approach His throne of mercy and grace even now. (Hebrews 10:19-22)
This is the ultimate invitation: to encounter God’s presence. . . .The Vertical Galilee House of Prayer . . . .a place for intercessors and worshippers to seek the Lord, a place for discipleship, and a place for people from Israel and the nations to worship, pray, and fellowship together. . . .Would you prayerfully consider partnering with The Faithful Galileans through a one time gift or monthly support?     Watch here for Chaim’s daily video update (Day 1041) “Sons of Light vs Sons of Darkness

    TekelAviHannah2020small (110 x 85).jpg

Avi & Hannah Tekle from Ohalai Rachamim (Tents of Mercy) in Kiryat Yam write about their preparations to bless those in need during the Fall Feasts. They will providing food parcel for 900 local families  in the weeks leading up to Rosh HaShannah. “We welcome your financial participation in this project. The price of food in Israel is constantly increasing and the dollar has reached new lows. In recent years we paid approximately $80 per parcel, but this year each costs us more than $120! This means your support is needed more than ever. Truly it is only through the generosity and partnership of believers around the world that we have been able to continue and even expand this anointed work over the years.” | They had great success with their annual “Reshet” kids camp. “This year’s theme was “Young Detectives – investigating the mysteries of the parables.” Over 70 kids attended from more than 8 congregations and were cared for by teen counselors from Tents of Mercy and other congregations.” Now the preparations are going on to transition from summer to back to school.

    GollMarianna2024 (86 x 100).jpg

Marianne Gol, a minister to widows & orphans via Streams in the Desert, writes that they just wrapped up their annual summer camp Heart of Courage for the young people participating in the hiking and ministry. “From the beginning there was a spirit of Shalom over the camp, evidenced by the attentive and respectful atmosphere in the clubroom.  The worship was passionate and energetic! Led by a volunteer team of Koreans, Indians, and Africans who had gone to great lengths to learn the Hebrew songs. The campers received them warmly and loved them for their efforts. | Testimony: One camper became sick with a fever and had to return home on the 2nd morning. As a result, her best friend became despondent. The prayer team interceded for her most of the day. That evening she surrendered her life to the Lord! | When the invited speaker was unable to come “Six of our counselor-leaders stepped up and we were truly blessed!  They spoke on themes of identity, following God, unity, holiness, authority and courage and the campers listened intently. Perhaps it was the close proximity in age of speaker to camper which helped the kids to relate so easily and to receive hope from the messages. | While we know that it’s not hard to find God, but we also know that walking with Him one’s whole life is high adventure full of many challenges. We are so grateful for your prayers and your participation in seeing this most important generation walk on to maturity. May they never, never stop walking.

For those of us who live and serve God here in Israel, the images, the national torment, and the personal trauma are never out of sight or out of mind. While much of the international media has long since moved on to other stories, we in Israel continue to live it every day. The nation of Israel is still processing the trauma and its people are trying to rebuild their lives, families, homes, and communities from the devastation. Avi & Chaya Mizrachi at Dugit Ministries write, “Even in the middle of summer, we are already looking ahead to Israel’s autumn holidays: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah. We are preparing special gift baskets filled with food, snacks, drinks, and other treats for our dear soldiers. We believe that standing with Israel’s soldiers is essential. Offering them a small gift of encouragement is one way we can thank them for their service, sacrifice, and hard work.
Our Distribution Center is also preparing for one of its busiest seasons of the year. We want to ensure that no family is forgotten during the holidays. Our team is preparing food supplies and care packages for families in need, helping them celebrate the holidays with dignity and joy.
Did you know that Dugit helps provide food for approximately 200 families every month? Isaiah 58:10 promises us: “And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness.”  To partner with us here in Tel Aviv, click.

Richard and Carolyn Hyde of Heart of G-d Ministries write, We are being refined, purged and made pure until the end time.” Daniel 11:35 | What a privilege to lead discipleship classes together in home groups in the Land. There were many highlights as we listened to G-d together after some checked-in with confusion, anger and other difficult emotions. One young seeker and I had the same vision as we listened for another man and he was SO surprised that this could happen! Another Israeli  Sabra asked excitingly, “How often do you guys do this?!?” | At another meeting a pre-believing Israeli asked me many questions about Yeshua, the Resurrection and His divinity. Adonai gave answers, sometimes through questions for him. When he apologized for too many queries, I encouraged his searching heart. It’s truly awesome to watch the quest for truth in those who hunger and thirst for Righteousness!

    AbramovShlomyMiriam (105 x 85).jpg

Shlomy and Miriam Abramov of Awake Israel write,” Miriam has Kurdish roots from the same area as Shlomy’s ancestors. She is part Syrian, Lebanese, Levant and part Portuguese, Irish Scottish and English.     Shlomy’s family was warned to leave Kurdistan by the grandfather’s VIP friends. They had intel the Jews were going to be slaughtered. In the middle of the night his grandfather took the whole family bound for Israel. His uncle was a beloved local Rabbi. Shlomy was an honor student and first Israel-born graduate of Israel College of the Bible and he graduated honors. (Hebrew of course).
This week Shlomy has been recording Daniel in Aramaic for the Baptists. Aramaic is the mother tongue of my husband’s father. The Kurdish speak Aramaic even today. We have had a vision to upgrade our recording abilities and now feel it is time to move forward. Most Hebrew translations have MANY errors in the New Testament. We want perfect Hebrew translations for the NT for Israel. We ask your prayers this all comes to together now. For decades Shlomy has wanted to correct wrong words in praise and worship songs, also in the scripture translation texts he wants to correct wrong grammar, sentence structure etc.  Hallelujah! To be a part of the word going forth from Jerusalem! The name I cannot share with you just yet but it has to do with light of the world.
Miriam includes a major prayer request: My father was a most prominent geologist and there is activity in a piece of land underground that he left me in Texas. Now to wade through all the muck of corporate coverup. It has taken me all week to write the persons involved. We need a move and cry to Him. Please pray with us for breakthrough. We are experiencing great spiritual onslaughts and have come against strongholds. Please agree any and all dark and stronghold would be broken off and God would come in like a flood to cover us and empower us. Supernatural undergirding in endurance.
Please pray also for difficult, ongoing situations with our landlord, and for a helper to assist us with our ministry letter that goes out every 2 months. It requires taking the letter to the printer and mailing to out missions accounting office and labeling the envelopes.

Tikkun Global Director Ariel Blumenthal and Founder Asher Intrater. Asher writes, “Praise, Prayer, and Prophecy have been part of Tikkun’s spiritual DNA for more than 40 years. From the earliest days of the movement, our leaders have sought to create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is welcome, where we listen for His leading and respond together in worship, prayer, and prophetic proclamation. Today, Tikkun Global continues to carry this DNA from Jerusalem. Praise, Prayer, and Prophecy…. remains at the heart of how we seek God together, discern His direction, make decisions, and minister to Israel and the nations.
. . . . This is the spiritual foundation from which we want everything else we do to flow. When you partner with Tikkun Global, your giving helps sustain this life of Praise, Prayer, and Prophecy in Jerusalem and enables its fruit to reach outward to Israel and the nations. We are deeply grateful to those who stand with us, especially at a time when much of the world is turning against Israel. We know that standing with Yeshua and Jerusalem comes with a cost. Yet we also know how the story ends: Yeshua returning to rule as King from Jerusalem, His capital city. Partner with us.

Here is the anointed king of Israel, rejected by his own people, crossing the Kidron Valley and going up the Mount of Olives, weeping, barefoot, and with his head covered (2 Samuel 15:23, 30). YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpg

Youval & Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel write about Planting for the Season Ahead. “The fields are full of activity again as we begin an intensive period of planting. Young people from the village and volunteers have been joining us in the work, and there is something encouraging about seeing many hands together preparing the ground for the coming season.
. . . . While we were planting in the fields, Youval and Valerie were also sowing into the next generation, planting the Word of God in the hearts of children. Youval taught at a conference gathering around 120 children between the ages of eight and ten. Valerie has also been teaching the children each day, opening the Word of God with them and helping them understand more about who He is. What a privilege it is to speak truth into young hearts at such an important age. We pray that these children will not simply remember the lessons, but will come to know the Lord for themselves and build their lives on His Word.
As we plant in the fields, we are also looking toward our next discipleship program this fall. We continue praying for the young people the Lord is drawing to join us. More than filling places, our desire is to see those whom God is calling come ready to seek Him, be grounded in Scripture, and grow as disciples of Yeshua. Partner with us as we plant seed – natural and spiritual – in Israel. The fields are white unto the harvest.

    BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpg

Howard and Randi Bass in Beersheva leading the Yeshua’s Inheritance (Nachalat Yeshua) congregation. Howard has written such a timely piece. I was just trying to explain the same thing hours ago on Facebook – the dividing asunder of soul & spirit it you will on this subject! Here it is:
“In the tender mercies and covenant loyalty of God to His chosen treasured people, the three Fall appointed times look ahead to the determined end of Israel’s waywardness, and to His jealous zeal to take away their sinful hearts and collective amnesia, and they will be His holy people among whom He will dwell forever, and He will be their God!  Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
While there are a small number of individual Jews and other people who love their enemies as they love themselves, no nation or government can possibly do so in the way that individuals can. This is not a natural love; and I have even heard some say that that command of the Messiah/Christ is one reason that they are not believers in Jesus. (!)
Israel has been in a state of war ever since its beginning, and war time rules are different than peace time. We live in a complex reality that necessitates the intervention of the God of Heaven and Earth.  While the Torah tells Israel/the Jewish people to love their neighbor as themselves, this was especially speaking of their fellow Israelis, as we can see from God’s instructions regarding the conquering of the Canaanite nations within the promised land, and the people who hindered them on the way. (Dt 7:1-11; 23:3-6)
Israel/the Jewish people were/are commanded to love the strangers in their midst, for they were strangers in the land of Egypt. (Dt 10:18-20; Ezek 47:21-23).  Jesus/Yeshua teaches us that the strangers are not limited to family or “good neighbors”, but Middle Eastern nations to not consciously follow Him.
The “strangers in the midst” are those who are not ethnically “relatives”, but who are also not against you and your people, culture, nation, and, perhaps especially, the Creator and Redeemer of Israel.
They may very possibly be for you and with you and your nation and the true God, such as Ruth the Moabitess, Uriah the Hittite, Cornelius the Roman centurion.  YHVH never told Moses and the Israelis to make war against Pharaoh, or try to overthrow or destroy Egypt.  Yeshua and His apostles never told His disciples to be rebels wherever we may live, or to overthrow Rome, for instance.
The God of Israel tells His people to seek the peace and well-being of the people and countries wherever we may be living.  (Jer 29:4-7; 1Tim 2:1-6) Those who live in our midst, but seek our destruction, or seek to make their god as equal or greater than the one true living God, are not “strangers” among us, but “aliens, foreigners”, who religiously, philosophically, politically refuse to “walk with us”, but insist on requiring others to accept their “worldview and way of life”.
Unfortunately, the translations of the same Hebrew words in the Bible are not consistent when dealing with this issue.
A government must first deal with justice among its own citizens before they can righteously deal with those are also trouble-makers and unlawful.
YHVH God’s choosing of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, from whom and through whom has come the Savior and salvation, was for the purpose of blessing all mankind — all the families of the Earth.
Israel is a unique people and nation, and God will glorify and sanctify His holy Name — YHVH — when He comes to judge all unrighteousness and opposition to Himself and to His sovereignty —  first of all within His own household, and then against those who have too far in their approval of and/or active hatred and disdain for His beloved people — the first born son among the nations. (Ex 4:21-23)
The “after-born sons” will be blessed through the first-born’s honor and inheritance at the determined time.  All will become well when YHVH God’s righteousness will be revealed on that day when Yeshua/Jesus will judge the world. (Acts 17:30-31)
In the meantime, we are to go about our Father’s business of redemption, taking the gospel to allsoever so that whomsoever may repent and be saved by His grace and mercies, sanctifying ourselves along the way.

DONNA: Hallelujah! We are on the same page about this. It’s a word that needs massive correction among Christians who have not put all their pieces together to know the Spirit of what God is looking for among us. To be “nice” we are not to lay down to Islamic takeover of our nations, for instance!  It’s not nice or righteous!!

(Tel Aviv is where those who have burnt all their bridges where they live across Israel, come to the streets of despair in the big city. Those who are out doing the ministry in these streets have the biggest hearts for “the least of these Yeshua’s brothers.”

The six men in Messianic rehab – (Daniel, Valeri, Georgi, Slava, Ori and Oleg) that they may they stay strong in their rehabilitation program and come to know Yeshua personally as their Savior. Several of the men, including one from an Orthodox background, have not yet fully surrendered their lives to Yeshua. They need a powerful revelation of Him as their Messiah
Hope and Fellowship – that those who aren’t able to make it in rehab, like Ruslan, will be encouraged, protected and not give up hope. For those who are not ready yet for rehab, please pray that they come to the Bible study (which is growing!) Two men from the Bible study have started coming to Friday services at Tiferet Yeshua, praise God!
Protection and Direction – that God protects our team and divinely directs us in every interaction we have with the precious people on the streets

    Anniversaries to Remember

Aug 2, 2026: My favorite American traditional Jewish commentator, Jonathan S Tobin has written something very close to my heart this morning. I cried reading his editorial just now about the 25th year anniversary of the Sbarro Pizzeria bombing in Jerusalem on August 9, 2001. Since writing this a couple of days ago, I have learned that the son of a well known Israeli Messianic figure was one of the first responders to arrive at the horrific blast scene. Terrorism creates hell-scapes.
Within a week of that bombing I would launch the first Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries. A handful of us would meet every Thursday to pray for them who were in the midst of continual terror attacks all around the country.
My 50th birthday was 2 days before Islamist terrorists chose to bomb a pizzeria filled with women pushing baby strollers. The bomb killed “16 people, including eight children and a pregnant woman, and wounded another 130 persons.” [I’m 75 today! Next week is the 25th Anniversary of the prayer summary!]

Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

    KleinArniYonit2017 (162 x 85).jpg

Arni Klein of Emmaus Way summed up the same thoughts I have at this time: “The longer we live, the more rivers we cross, the greater our experience of Father’s ever-present faithfulness. Looking back over our lives… His evident care and the clarity of His leading at every turn and juncture have deposited in us a testimony of notable depth and breadth. Without question, one would expect the recipient of such blessed experience to abide effortlessly in the light of his glory. In truth, this has not been my (Arni’s) reality. Despite all the manifest miracles, blessings, and confirmed prophetic directive words, I lived with a lingering expectation of impending disaster, basically from morning to night. The process of coming to this deeper awareness of my inner state ….Beyond question, it was an excruciatingly wonderful divinely-appointed moment of sovereign intervention that continues to bear the fruit of ever-increasing peace and freedom. I write this with a sense of a circle being closed and a fullness of time reached, propelling me into an actualization of lifelong passion and calling never before experienced. I hope that the testimony of coming to this defining moment at the onset of my 80th year of life and in my 54th year of faith and 57th year of marriage will actually be an encouragement and not a lament at how long it has taken to get this place in life, even for someone completely given and committed from day one. I have the strong sense that it could not have happened one day sooner. This has been a perfectly designed life discipleship course. And each and every one of us has such a divinely-ordained pathway to prepare us to be God’s dwelling place on earth and friend forever.”
“Truly truly, the days between our trips to Africa seem to fly by. We love being at home…whether here or there. Our next sojourn is currently planned for August 7-September 15. . . . Robert and Esther who are founders of a fellowship of likeminded brethren known as Arise & Build. . . .For some years they’ve had a vision to build a training center. . . .When we told Robert and Esther of our history and vision, they shared that years ago the Lord spoke to them concerning the Tabernacle of David, saying that He would teach them about it. It seemed once again that this was that. They have proceeded to engage an architect to map out possible plans. . . .With that all as a backdrop, we look forward to meetings and gatherings with congregations, networks, ministry teams and individuals. . . .a four-day seminar with the leaders of a network of about 30 indigenous messianic congregations that meet on Shabbat, keep the Feasts, read the Parasha, and have a heart for Israel. There is likely not another community like this in all of Africa. . . .four days scheduled with a group of intercessory leaders in Jinja, which is at the headwaters of the Nile. . . .a retreat at Vision for Africa’s prayer mountain … a four-day celebration of the Feast of Trumpets with Robert and Esther’s community.
As we formerly wrote, a pressing need is to have our written and spoken materials accessible in the local language, Luganda. The “Preparing the Way” booklet is now ready for printing. The “Israel Revealed” course is translated, awaiting a final edit. The eight-session video seminar is getting a Luganda voice-over. Once that is completed we will do voice-overs for the 52-message Foundations Course. We are also working towards having the recorded messages transcribed into book form. The cost of voice-overs for fourteen hours of teaching is a fraction of what it would be elsewhere…about 800 US$/Euros.  However, the other side of the picture is that with people’s income being so low, we receive virtually no offerings to offset this and our flight costs. We pray that the Lord will speak to some of our friends to come alongside and help plant this precious seed in the most fertile ground we have ever encountered. We are so blessed and thankful to be part of what the Lord is doing in this amazing hour.

  • Dire Straits of Hormuz, 9th of Av & Year of Jubilee

2026 APR Logo Arrows from Zion (600 x ).jpg

    The Dire Straits of Hormuz,
The 9th of AV and The Year of Jubilee
    Israel is God’s Timepiece.

It takes spiritual understanding to know that fact, and to WATCH accordingly.

There were two extremely important reports this week, one concerning Jews who are still in the exile of the nations is a beacon warning light for Jews and Christians alike to see how quickly rebellion against God is unfolding all over the world. The glaring truth is anti-Semitism is the most visible symptom.
         (1) An article posted by the European Jewish Congress on Facebook notes: “A questionnaire calling on people to report the presence of Jewish and Israeli tourists in hotels, accommodation and businesses has begun circulating in Milan. Presented as a “mapping of Zionist tourism,” the initiative effectively encourages the identification and targeting of individuals based on their actual or perceived Jewish identity or nationality. . . . The Italian authorities must act swiftly to ensure those responsible are held accountable and that such dangerous practices are stopped immediately. Dugit’s Chaya Mizrachi informed me that there have been 2 separate attacks against Israelis in Asia and Europe, and while in the USA, they are also being aware not to speak Hebrew in public. It’s a prophetic warning of the times on a worldwide scale.

         (2) The second was good news from the Israeli Remnant of faith: The Israeli government has pulled its funding from an LGBTQ summer event at the ancient site of Sodom & Gomorrah, the Dead Sea. Again, Chaya informed me that, “the Messianic Jewish body in Israel we were on our faces and praying together for this to be canceled and we are so very thankful.”

This is a perfect example of how the Remnant of faith in Israel are a blessing to all Israel – because all Israel cannot understand the spiritual implications of this in the least, but the Remnant can and DID!
In going to prayer over this matter on behalf of Israel, a huge defeat of Israel has been overthrown by those who were praying for Israel to back away from this demonic spiritual event which would have brought hell into Israel by this gateway of demonic activity. Just like when Balaam taught Balak how to bring Israel into sin so they could weaken and conquer Israel! The individual homosexual sins of Israelis still exist, but the government withdrawing funding and support is a significant victory.
I have an article in the Genesis Patriarchs & Matriarchs series I’m writing and one is about the war of the kings. I started it a few weeks ago, but needed was put on hold for the past 3 weeks, and I believe I know why now. There is a connection to that Genesis Sodom and Gomorrah account that gives me greater perspective for this Dead Sea victory in 2026. I will be returning to finish that article immediately after – because I believe this outcome is part of what I’m writing about!

The Literal Dire Straits of Hormuz

AS NEWS HEADLINES HAVE SWIRLED AROUND THE STRAITS OF HORMUZ, it underscores the ramifications of the last three weeks of the Dire Straits spiritually. . .not only in international news, but also in the lives of ALL believers contending in the spiritual battle for God’s Israel.

Arrows Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries
Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

    MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (131 x 85).jpg

Chaim Malespin, The Faithful Galileans & Aliyah Return Center writes, “Join us: Intercede with Purpose and Promise” | Paga (פָּגַע) — to intercede; to meet; to light upon; to reach; also to strike, to press. Amad BaPeretz (עָמַדבַּפֶּרֶץ) — to stand in the breach; to place oneself in the gap|As in Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”

One of the Hebrew words for intercession is “paga” (פָּגַע). This word carries the sense of contact, encounter, and forceful engagement. It can mean to meet someone, to press against something, or to arrive at a place with intention. Intercession, therefore, is not passive or casual. It is intentional, persistent, and deeply engaged. When Jacob wrestled through the night and refused to let go until he received a blessing (Genesis 32:24–29), he embodied the heart of “paga”.

Intercession is not a gentle suggestion offered from a distance. It is the determined pursuit of God by someone who understands what is at stake and refuses to walk away without an answer.

Throughout Scripture, God raises up men and women who stand in the gap for others. . . . This same invitation is extended to us. We can take hold of God’s promises and pray earnestly on behalf of our families, communities, and nations. Intercession is not persuading a reluctant God. It is partnering with His heart and purposes through persistent prayer. God is searching for those who will stand in the gap . . . . we are invited to stand on God’s Word, contend for His promises, and faithfully carry the needs of others before His throne. Take Action: During your time with the Lord, ask Him if there is a person, family, community, or situation for which He is calling you to stand in the gap. Write it down. Commit to praying for it every day this week. Bring Scripture into your prayers, reminding God of the promises He has spoken.  | Sow into the Vertical House of Prayer | Watch Chaim’s report on the War has Resumed

    DoronReuvenMaryLou2025cropped (111 x 85).jpg

Reuven Doron, OneNewManToday, writes about Jubilee: The Real Great Reset |Leviticus 25 is where God instructs Israel to observe the Year of Jubilee. Reuven writes, Every 50 years, the nation of Israel was commanded to perform a “GREAT RESET.” That reset was meant to trigger massive and irreversible societal, economical and financial changes that would touch the life of EVERY citizen of Israel. A concise formula of the “Jubilee Laws” meant that at each 50 years’ cycle, EVERY SLAVE was set free; EVERY DEBT was cancelled; and ALL LANDS were handed back to their original tribal owners. This was a total nationwide socio-economic reset. To our knowledge, Israel never had the faith to fulfill this commandment to its fullest, and we understand the reasons why. Can you imagine such cyclical radical shifts performed in our world today? Banks would collapse. The credit system would fall apart. Real-estate markets would lose their value, and massive amounts of people would be reintroduced overnight into a free economy. Israel never had the faith or trust in God to be so cast on Him, and neither would any other people group upon this earth.”
. . . .THE FINAL & ULTIMATE JUBILEE | This was what the Lord Yeshua said in His dramatic “introductory message” at the Nazareth synagogue. (Luke 4)  He opened the scroll and quoted Isaiah’s most potent Messianic prophecy, saying, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable (most probably a Jubilee) year of the LORD…”
. . . . The closer we advance towards the end of the age and the coming of the Lord, the less value this world holds for us. Our real possessions, investments, and interests are eternal, in heaven, and the most meaningful thing we have here on earth is time. Time to grow in the spirit; time to die to the flesh; and time to mature in Messiah. Time is running out.”

Daniel and Shirya Yahav of the Tiberias Peniel Fellowship send an excellent teaching on Deuteronomy 25:17-18 about how Amalek attacked the “stragglers” when the children of Israel were led out of Egypt. The stragglers were vulnerable to attack at the rear because they were dragging their feet: “faint and weary and did not fear God.” This is a warning example for us all today.
DD: We are told in the last days that the enemy will carry out the same strategy against believers in a war of attrition against the vulnerable believers who do not trust God’s promises, and become exhausted and give up hope. Daniel 7:25 describes it this way: and shall wear out the saints of the most High.” (bᵊlā’ means to wear out in a mental sense by constant harassment)

In congregational news: Summer activities for youth/children and high school grads preparing for army duties. Hosted by German & Swiss friends, summer vacation was a hiking trip in the Swiss Alps & a time of fellowship & experiencing God in His majestic creation. All the older teen boys paid their own way. | Daniel participated in an Israel and Arab pastors conference in the Middle East. He taught on Yeshua in the Old Testamant. The Jordanian pastor who organized the event was once an anti-Israeli believer in replacement theology – but God changed his heart. “Today he is working diligently in spreading God’s truth to other pastors in the Arab speaking world. . . . As to the Druze community we have previously shared about, we have contact with two new believers from among them, which we would appreciate your prayers for. They are very fragile, and as you may know, this community is very closed and it is unacceptable to believe in anything else than their religion.”
There is so much more, but I leave you with this link to many resources & YouTube Channel

    SilverDavidJosie2021a (111 x 85).jpg

From David & Josie Silver, Out of Zion’s 7’17 Carmel Alert, this article by son Stefan Silver on the Dire Straits. Stefan also leads the Kerem-El congregation. The dates this year of the Dire Straits are: between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av (July 2-24, 2026). Stefan explains how historically, “They commemorate the darkest chapter in Jerusalem’s history, when the city was placed under siege, its walls breached, and ultimately the Temple destroyed, both times on the same Hebrew date, the 9th of Av….
“Scripture often uses the imagery of narrowness to describe times of pressure and distress. In Psalm 118:5-7 we read: “Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me in a broad place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” The Hebrew word translated “distress” is “metzar” – literally, a narrow place. It paints the picture of someone hemmed in, pressed from all sides with no obvious way forward. The reality is that there are seasons when God’s people feel surrounded – politically, militarily, and spiritually. That contrast lies at the heart of this season too when Israel once again finds itself in such a narrow place.” To read more

    YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpg

Youval & Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel ask an important question: “Jesus asked it this way: “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26) | We live in a world that constantly tells us to pursue success, comfort, recognition, and personal fulfillment. But Jesus gently asks a deeper question: What is your heart truly longing for?” This was a major focus in the Camp Connexion in France.  Pray with Revive Israel that “the seeds planted during Camp Connexion would continue to grow and bear lasting fruit in every young person’s life” and for all the Discipleship efforts by this ministry devoted to raising up quality disciples of the Messiah in Israel.

Guy Cohen, a native Israel leading a congregation in his birthplace of Acco called the Harvest of Asher, has been penning such powerful articles and sharing on his Facebook page, like: ‘I Was Blind Bur Now I See’. You may not love Facebook — I know I don’t! —but it is worth having an account there just to read the things like these articles from Guy Cohen.  Here are more recent articles you will enjoy: “Who Is a Jew? When the Jewish State Puts Jews to the Test” and “From Returning to Scripture to Loving Israel, Dedicated to the memory of Lindsey Graham…A Call to the Friends of Israel”. I truly appreciate Guy Cohen. Every time I have been able to see him, he has impressed me with his unassuming demeanor and the clear indications of a man of serious integrity. And he walks in a great spiritual insight and anointing. Harvest of Asher is making a difference in ‘the Crusader port of Acco, Israel, which is also the land inheritance God gave to the tribe of Asher in the Promised Land.’

    CohenMoti2025 (61 x 80).jpg

Moti Cohen, another native Israel leading the Tel Aviv congregation, Tiferet Yeshua, writes: “I once heard someone say that ministry to the homeless and drug addicts wasn’t worth the effort because you hardly ever see fruit. I can honestly say that, after years of serving homeless and drug addicts, every week I head to the streets with expectation in my heart because God always prepares so many amazing encounters. It is true that getting off the streets and into drug rehabilitation programs is very difficult for the addicts, and it used to happen only occasionally. However, in recent years we have seen more and more people getting off the streets and into drug rehab programs thanks to the grace of God, first and foremost, and also the relationships and trust we have established with them over time. At the moment, three men we helped get off the street are in Messianic drug rehab programs. . . .
During His ministry in the Land of Israel, Yeshua served the poor and needy, meeting the needs of the sick and the broken, feeding the hungry and reaching the outcasts of Israel with the love of the Father. We started the Feed Tel Aviv outreach as a way to do the works Yeshua Himself so selflessly did, to proclaim that God’s Kingdom is at hand and that Yeshua is the way, the truth and the life. As we go out to minister each week, we know that we cannot continue this very important ministry without your prayers and support! Support us in this life-giving work of the Lord.

Christian Arab Prophetic intercessor Rania Seyegh of the Nazareth House of Prayer & Exploits (HOPE) just celebrated a birthday, but is celebrating even more that they have raised $14,000 toward the Oct 2-3, 2026 annual Arab Deborah’s Arising conference. This will draw women across the Arab world to come into an encounter with the Lord to strength their calling of influence in their families, communities, churches and nations. Rania is a true “one new (wo)man” with a heart for Arab Christians and for Israeli Messianic Jews to grow in the unity of God’s purpose for them as a witness to all the nations. They sponsor all the women so they can attend, and now are closing in with only $16,000 left to raise for the conference. 47% of the way is paid. Can you help?

    FieldsofWheatEitanJoelRuby (164 x 100).jpg

Eitan Shishkoff, founder of Fields of Wheat in northern Israel, explains the WHY? of their FOW camps for the Israeli teens – three each year.  Eitan explains that “Since the 2nd century, both Jews and Christians have been indoctrinated with the concept that you cannot believe in Jesus AND be Jewish. To overturn such a diabolical lie there would have to be a companion revolution—Hebrew-speaking Yeshua followers, living a genuine Jewish life within Israeli society. It soon became evident that only by equipping the youth to be those “revolutionaries” could we overturn this lie….This is our WHY: The central importance of Israel’s youth in bringing the nation to Yeshua. By giving ourselves to them and seeing their lives change, we can change the false narrative concerning Jesus and the Jewish people. We have found that spiritually focused, intensive youth camp experiences achieve that inner change. Twenty-five years of camps have produced the current generation of young leaders in families, congregations, businesses, and the Israeli Defense Force, where our “graduates” are now sowing seeds for Yeshua’s end-time harvest. This is a great start, but there’s much more to be done…we are still only .003% of the Jewish citizens of Israel.
“CONNECTED” our 2026 Summer Camp (August 8-13) already has 100 teens registered. Please pray for God’s hand to be on every young person and every counselor from the time they leave home until they return. This camp is crucial. Because of war we had to cancel our Passover camp last spring. Pray for the deep presence of the Lord to touch every heart in a lasting way. Give to help our work.

Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod, and Voice of Judah ministries writes: “No One Is Forgotten: Seeds of Faith, Divine Appointments, and New Beginnings in Israel” | God is always at work—preparing hearts, guiding lives, and fulfilling His purposes, often in ways we cannot immediately see. . . .From Exile to Israel: Helping immigrant children begin the school year with confidence. Michael & Dina Beener of the Sderot City of Life write: PROPHETIC:  Jewish Families Keep Returning to Israel Despite Wars. Stepping into the fulfillment of biblical prophecy by leaving behind careers and familiar lives, they are responding to God’s call to come home. Some are even settling in the Negev Desert, near the Gaza border, choosing faith over fear. Their stories reflect courage, hope, and a deep trust that God is guiding every step as they build a new future in the land of their fathers.” Watch this video from Michael Beener and how their ministry does outreach to these immigrants.

    SayagDaniLuAnne2025crop (105 x 75).jpg

Dani & LuAnne Sayag leading the Carmel Congregation write, “As summer began, we were blessed to gather children from ages 6–12 for a special three-day camp focusing on the life of Joseph. Throughout the camp, every activity, Bible lesson, small group, game, and worship time pointed to one powerful truth: God is faithful, even in the darkest seasons of our lives.”
This is a lesson EVERY BELIEVER should camp out on: “Joseph’s journey was filled with hardship. He was rejected by his brothers, thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, and imprisoned unjustly. Yet through every trial, God remained with him, transforming what others intended for evil into His good purposes.
…Thank you for standing with us in prayer and partnership as we invest in the next generation. We are continually reminded that while the world around us may feel uncertain, God remains faithful to every promise He has made.

Jennifer Guetta, Plant Hope Israel, writes, “Around the world, warfare and anti-Semitism grow, nations align for prophetic conflict, deception increases, and many fall away. Our ministry goal is to plant hope amid the storm. Despite the darkness, Jesus is our hope and will come soon. I once dreamed of the Lord holding a small plant, saying, “Go! Plant Hope in the hearts of men.” The world needs His hope now.”…
“I’m now in Flagstaff, Arizona, visiting my mom. Traveling in and out of Israel has been difficult recently, preventing me from seeing my family for 3.5 years. Miraculously, the Lord has brought me to America, allowing me to reunite with my family. . . .I’ve also been preaching in churches, distributing books, and will soon be sharing a message about Jesus’ Return and the Feast of Trumpets on Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural, ” based on my book The Mystery of the Feast of Trumpets.”

The Iranian Front is Hot Again

Prayer for the SOLDIERS DEFENDING ISRAEL

“The War has resumed” Israel to Call up Reserves

    July 10, 2026
Arrows from Zion Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries
Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

July 9: My intention this week was to feature the ministries who are providing places for the soldiers to come to heal from the things they have seen and experienced in combat. Wars always take a psychological toll on people, including soldiers — even soldiers of faith. With Trump’s recognition that a “deal” was impossible with Iran, combat is back on the table for Israel’s Reservists (Sav Shemoney) both family men and unmarried women, according to Miriam Abramov at Awake Israel. She also writes that the Israel is “short on army personnel and the religious refuse to serve.”
I have to note two things about that, first ‘Idle minds and hands are the devil’s workshop.’ My second comment is related: I have begun to see Israel news media articles popping up about various religious attacks against the Israeli Messianic community.

The Israeli Messianic community have always downplayed mentioning of the religious opposition coming against them. Primarily it is because they don’t want their followers (or others) to HATE the people they desire to see come to faith in Yeshua. Whether they speak of the incidents happening to them or not, the religious brag on their own media of the ways they attack Messianic believers. I want NO ONE to hate the religious in Israel, but the persecution of the saved Israelis will continue to increase to the end and I will not be one to keep silent about the incidents that I discover taking place.

The Apostle Paul was a religious persecutor of the earliest believers, Jews. In our day, many more traditionally religious Jews will come to faith and this is our challenge: To represent Yeshua to Jews who spit on His name, so they are not further hardened by our misrepresenting God’s love for the Jews. Hate the sin, love the sinner is always the challenge in every part of our interactions with fellow humanity.

    TikkunACsabotage (185 x 300).jpg

An example of what I am talking about is in this reel on Facebook and Instagram from Ariel Blumenthal at Tikkun Global. He is reporting how their ministry was targeted about a week ago in a building full of other occupants with a malicious sabotage of their specific air conditioning units to the tune of thousands of shekels in repairs and replacement costs. They will increase the security before making any moves toward replacing the AC. Donations to cover the unexpected costs would help.

    MalespinChaim2023 (75 x 110).jpg

Chaim Malespin of Aliyah Return Center & Faithful Galileans will be one of the family men serving in the Reserves, as he has from the beginning, in a tank unit. We have truly appreciated Chaim’s daily video reports even as he has served in combat. He has shown an extraordinary courage, internal peace and composure for all he has been involved with since the Oct 7 attack on Israel sent the nation into war. He has given us a front row seat to witness it in his video reports. May all of our believer Messianic soldiers find the peace of Yeshua within their hearts, head, body and spirit as they serve to the defense of their people and nation.

WATCH July 3rd 1000 days of war in Israel Chaim writes, “As we mark 1000 days to the October 7 massacre, Aliyah continues! More than 60,000 Jewish people have made Aliyah to Israel since October 2023. That’s our victory. Since that morning, life has changed drastically for us in Israel. . . .I have been deployed since the beginning. I have been in the terror tunnels of Gaza and in Lebanon, confronting firsthand the reality of our enemies’ schemes to destroy us. The majority of what I have been doing in these past 1,000 days has been dismantling the infrastructure of destruction that Hamas and Hezbollah spent billions of dollars to build. They did not improvise October 7th. They planned it for years, maybe decades. They invested everything into their plot to destroy Israel. . . .And yet, despite the rockets, the grief, and the uncertainties of these 1,000 days, more than 60,000 Jewish people have made Aliyah to Israel since October 2023. . . .

Aliyah is not just immigration, it is prophetic fulfillment. [Isaiah 43:5-6] . . . .We are living in unprecedented times. Together with your help we can help establish the return of the Jewish people back in their promised homeland! Give Today

Reuven Doron of OneNewManToday continues to put out high quality analysis and prophetic insight, to benefit from it Subscribe to his email updates. In The Great Return he speaks of Jeremiah’s prophecies that “Israel’s final gathering into the Land will far eclipse the Exodus out of Egypt.” That is happening now. Reuven wrties, “This summer alone, Israel is expecting the arrival of 6,000 new immigrants, most of them arriving from Islamazised western nations.” God knows how to get the Jewish people back to their own land. Also from Donna’s perspective the Islamization Western nations is a correction from God on our Western nations for forsaking their Christian faith, and allowing Israel to be continuously attacked by Islamist nations, as if they should just take it.

    Bishai Ruby 2026 (85 x 114).jpg
Ruby Bishai for Fields of Wheat writes, “Behind every uniform is a person. . . .a few soldiers reached out to me with a simple but heavy request. They were looking for a place where Messianic soldiers could come together. A safe space. A place where they could sit with others who understood the strange tension of their lives: serving in uniform, carrying responsibility, seeing things that are hard to explain, and still trying to follow Yeshua with a soft heart. . . . when a real need stands in front of you, sometimes the calling is simply to say yes.

. . . .Once a month, on Friday morning, soldiers come in from different places and different units. Some arrive tired. Some arrive quiet. Some come straight from a long week in uniform. Some have just returned from reserve duty. Some do not say much at first. And we do our best to make the room feel safe enough for them to slowly put down what they have been carrying. And yes, we make sure they eat well. . . .A meal that says, “You are seen. You are cared for. You are not forgotten.”

“…Over time, this group has become something I did not fully know how to imagine when we began. It has become a place of fellowship. A place where soldiers can breathe for a moment. A place where they can be with others who understand not only the military reality, but also the unique reality of being believers in that environment. . . .Today, as I write this, we are preparing for another soldiers’ meeting. This time, our group is joining together with another soldier’s group from Tel Aviv. Seeing how much this has grown over the past year and a half caused me to stop and reflect. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to this part of the ministry, because it has become one of the most meaningful things I get to be part of.

“. . . .As Fields of Wheat, we can look back over the past 1,000 days and say with humility and gratitude that we have been serving our people and the nation of Israel throughout this war. From the beginning, we have tried to stand where the need was. With soldiers. With youth. With families. With believers who are trying to follow Yeshua faithfully in the middle of a very painful and complicated reality. It is a privilege to do this.

“In many ways, this soldiers’ group and our youth camps are two sides of the same calling. In just about a month, we will hold our summer Katzir camp. Around 100 teenagers will come, many of them hungry for a meaningful encounter with the Lord. We will worship with them, teach them, disciple them, and create space for them to meet God in a real way. And some of those same teenagers, after they finish 12th grade, will put on a uniform and be sent into military service. . . .And because of you, we are able to remind them that they are not forgotten either.” Your prayers and donations give us the ability to provide these things.” To help, donate to Fields of Wheat here.

    MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpg

Dugit MinistriesAvi Mizrachi has a powerful message about “what happens when a donkey sees the Angel of the Lord – but a prophet does not? In Numbers 22, God uses an unexpected voice to expose deception, reveal a reckless path, and remind us that His promises over Israel cannot be cursed or overturned. In this powerful message, Pastor Avi connects the story of Balaam to the times we are living in today – and calls us to wake up, repent, and remember that God’s covenant promises are irrevocable. BenderRonit2026 (84 x 100).jpg

Ronit Bender in northern Israel has many things to report, but I have chosen this IMPORTANT ALERT: “I do not know if you hear this in the nations, but the Iranian regime tries to recruit Israelis to spy for them. Young people fall prey to these very attractive offers. I am certainly not young, but received such an offer: $300,000 USD! It was three emails altogether, the first two describing how this person, a Swiss medical doctor who loves the Lord, would love to donate this sum in Israel and needs my help to distribute it. The third email told about his wife who was murdered by the regime in Iran for protecting girls’ rights. It said that his daughter also died. A very moving story. The fact that they used the gospel to try to convince me is very alarming.

I spoke to my former pastor Yonatan, and he confirmed what I suspected all along. I blocked any future emails, and sent the emails to the leadership of Kehilat HaCarmel. It should be a warning to all. The Iranians offer huge amounts, and as people are in need of money, they fall in these traps. Please pray for the protection of our nation, and FOR ME PERSONALLY. To contact Ronit, or to donate to her needs as she does personal evangelism.

    Shiffsally2019 (81 x 85).jpg
Sally Shiff writes of her US tour just winding down, “I was a “Circuit Flyer” travelling to 14 states in 6 weeks. My message was almost the same (Special Guest Speaker From Israel- Sally Shiff), yet with specifics in each of the churches that God wanted me to highlight for that church. Along the way, and with the many conversations with old and new friends, I came away with hope as well as renewed passion with greater understanding of how to pray for you and the church of America. I strongly believe that the Church needs to be like the sons of Issachar who understand the signs of the times and pray according to God’s direction. To NOT BE bystanders compromising and bending to “popular” ideas of antisemitism/pro-Palestinian lies, or sexual pervasions that are against the truth of God. I have audacious hope for the church of America! Sally is an intercessor at HaMayaan congregation and to subscribe to her informative and enlightening reports email her.

    GollMarianna2024 (86 x 100).jpg
Marianna Goll sends a catchup report for her Streams in the Desert ministry to widows & orphans: “We have had challenging but fruitful months. One of the most exciting things in the last season was an event organized by a partner organization in the Negev. We served together with them to host a day of games and activities for 170 Bedouin kids. Activities like this are not only about bringing joy into the lives of those kids. They are about breaking down the walls of division and changing attitudes between the Jewish and Arab communities. We felt so privileged.
We are getting ready for our annual summer camp. This will be our 18th year! In Hebrew thought the number “18” symbolizes “Life”.  We pray that this camp will be life-giving for the kids, the team, and all the volunteers.  Please pray for the organization, the logistics, and for any financial deficit to be covered. BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpg

Howard Bass of Yeshua’s Inheritance in Beer Sheva writes, “The name of our new grandson born to Evan and Joyanna is Amiel Haim Bass. Ah-mee-el has a number of various possible meanings, with Ami meaning “my people”; and El meaning God. Haim is my Hebrew name, meaning “life”, and is also Evan’s middle name. Amiel’s circumcision was on June 28, and is also a sign of the covenant — YHVH’s covenant with Abraham, and his descendants, and especially through Isaac and Jacob to the physical descendants of the House of Jacob, or, in today’s parlance, the Jewish people. This is not the circumcision binding to the Sinai covenant, but is a sign, even for Jewish boys, that we are still Jews in the flesh. By this we confirm that the New Covenant faith in Yeshua/Jesus as the Messiah and Son of God does not nullify God’s promises to His chosen people, which are obtained through repentance and faith in the gospel. The way to be saved was first given and shown to the Jews, through whom it was proclaimed to the Gentiles; and the way to be saved has not changed for either Jewish people or for any non-Jewish person!

In congregational news: they are meeting in the July-August months at 3:30pm instead of 5:30pm to help out the families with children fit in all the Shabbat evening activities. They’ve had another Bedouin baptized in Med Sea and two baby dedications. Summer camps are on across the country and many congregational families events from the ladies’ mtg to the couples’ evening congregational annual trip. Asking continued prayers for the Jewish people and Israel – see Psalm 2:10-12 as a prayer basis: “Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the Earth. Serve YHVH with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him!”

Out of Zion Ministries, David and Josie Silver also feature the writings of son Stefan and daughter in law Keren who are also pastors at the HaCarmel daughter congregation, Kerem-El, God’s Vineyard. 6/27 Keren penned this exceptional article Restricted by What Remains, writing “A.W. Tozer wrote: “True obedience is the refusal to compromise in any regard our relationship with God, regardless of the consequences.” Keren: “Our lives are full of invitations to compromise – to dilute our principles, our way of life, our thoughts, attitudes, and ultimately our actions. As a mother, I look anxiously at the world my daughters are growing up in, and I constantly pray that God will help them guard themselves from compromising the truth, their walk with Him, and their relationship with Him. I pray that I will succeed in guiding them in the right way – the way of truth and life.”

    HydeCarolynRichard 2026 (99 x 80).jpg
From the big family ‘tribe’ of Richard and Carolyn Hyde, Heart of G-d, Carolyn writes about Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child.” She wrote, “When our sons and their wives needed a day to fast and pray, Richard and I were asked to babysit. This is a bigger ask than one would think because there were only 2 of us compared to 11 of them. They had more than a 5 to 1 advantage! Instead of camping them in front of the TV and enduring the inevitable verbal fights that would ensue, the L-rd gave us a different strategy. We decided to invest in the hearts of these little Israelis! I felt we should read Genesis 15 and then draw, color and cut out the animals in Gen 15:9. After cutting the cows, rams & sheep in half, we placed them on homemade altars, explaining how contracts worked in ancient Israel. Two parties would then walk in a figure 8 between the sacrifices, agreeing that if one broke the contract, they’d become like the animals on the altar. When G-d gave Avram and his seed the Land, He put Avram into a deep sleep and cut the covenant with Himself! Sometimes we wonder if the kids are paying attention so we were greatly encouraged to receive a call the next day when some wanted to clarify the message. What a privilege to bring the true stories from the Bible to life through fun but relevant conversations!

During the recent Prophetic Arts Journey at Ein Bokek, we called into existence open eyes and right decisions for multitudes in the Valley of Decision regarding the LGBT event in July. Shortly afterwards, the Shin Beit canceled the event, claiming that the government can’t sponsor it as the money is needed elsewhere. The enemy tried to defile the Land where we took communion and worshipped Adonai and He graciously answered our prayers – Hallelujah!

    RaikhstadtAlekseyBeitImmanuel (61 x 85).jpg

Aleksey Raikstadt of the old city Jaffa Beit Immanuel congregation writes, “These past months have carried real weight. War has a way of settling into daily life in ways you don’t always notice at first. It affects conversations, plans, sleep, and even how we pray. And yet, in the middle of it all, we have not been without the constant kindness of God. I find myself more aware of His presence in the small things.” | Congregational: Read online – A Calling to Lead and Serve | A Season of Harvest: Baptisms and New Beginnings | Pray for their children at summer camp I Latvia, for those serving in the congregation. MazinLeonNina2021a (92 x 85).jpg
Leon Mazin of the Haifa Return to Zion congregation sends a message of encouragement from Israel: This Hanukkah will mark 25 years since I became a pastor. Over these two decades, I have experienced powerful moments of anointing, but also times of disappointment, betrayal, and immense joy. This is a process we all go through. As a pastor, I have watched many believers navigate these same waves.

Apostle Paul reminds us that the purpose of this journey is to grow into maturity in Messiah. James echoes this when he urges us to face trials with joy. Interestingly, in Hebrew, the words for trial and temptation share the exact same root as the word for experienceNisayon (ניסיון). Simply put, life is not a picnic; it is a Nisayon—a collective experience we bring before God. What matters most is approaching Him with reverence and gratitude. When we do, everything we have walked through works together for our good. May the Lord strengthen us all.

Prayer Requests: Youth Ministry & “Nesher” Project: Our youth are currently in an important season of discipleship. A group of 24 young people (ages 15–18) is preparing for a trip to Norway….we are praying for a profound, high-quality time of spiritual growth for them.| Humanitarian Projects: We are currently restructuring our Congregation outreach initiatives. The Haifa Municipality has recently reached out to us requesting our assistance. Please pray for wisdom and open doors as we navigate this collaboration.| Congregational Families: Several families within our Congregation are walking through exceptionally difficult seasons. Counseling has been completed, and we are now lifting them up in prayer, asking for divine strength, guidance, and heavenly breakthroughs.

    YahavDanielShirya14.jpg

Daniel and Shirya Yahav of the Penial Fellowship in Tiberias send a word encouraging that we “do not grow weary” _ Shirya writes, “It is on my heart to encourage you not to grow weary in the lifelong journey on the narrow path that leads us to eternal life. As can be seen from these two verses, the danger of growing tired is real and we are encouraged not to lose heart, growing weary, and God forbid, falling away. Paul writes in 2 Tim. 3:16 that all scriptures, (note that they had only the Old Testament), is a source of help and instruction for us, to become effective and ready to accomplish what God has called us to do (Eph. 2:10). So, let us learn from the experience of the nation of Israel, during their journey to the Promised Land. And let us be reminded that it is a picture of our journey as the children of God. The bible tells us that those who became weary on the way, became prey to Amalek who killed them. It also tells us what lead to their weariness. We want to see what is the remedy, so we do not fall into the same place.

On our war situation. As you know, we are supposed to have a cease fire, but in fact, Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian authority in Judea and Samaria and the Syrian front are not quiet nor peaceful. We do not have rockets coming in from Iran, so the civilian’s daily life is back to normal, but many are still serving in prolonged reserve duties, fathers, sons and daughters, and that is affecting their family life, their work life, studies etc. All our soldiers are facing a continued life danger, in all fronts. In the Judea and Samaria area, Israeli forces have found hundreds of weapons since the beginning of 2026, and forty lathes of producing weapons. Not to mention Hamas and Hezbollah who are not respecting the ceasefire, nor dismantling their infrastructure as required by the agreement, the opposite is true. They are continuously trying to recuperate their infrastructures and capabilities and attacking the Israeli forces.

Sadly, Hezbollah in Lebanon have succeeded in causing a number of painful casualties through drone attacks against our soldiers. Lately the Israeli forces found several enormous underground tunnels in Southern Lebanon, carved into the rocky mountain terrain, which according to our defense minister, were not seen anywhere else. These tunnel complexes are designed to store precision missiles and heavy rockets. The tunnels are wide and well-lit, allowing free movement of trucks and motorcycles underground. According to their own publications, the complexes include platforms and removable launch hatches that allow missiles to be launched directly from under the ground without exposing the launchers. The complexes also include supporting infrastructure such as ventilation systems, electricity, control rooms, kitchens and field hospitals that allow for the presence of hundreds of Terrorists for prolonged periods, and makes it easy for these terrorists to come out right on our border and attack Israeli communities just as Hamas did on 7th Oct 2023.

In light of this, Israel cannot afford to draw its forces out of Lebanon before the job of dismantling this satanic organization will be finished. Interestingly, just few days ago Israel and the government of Lebanon signed an agreement that is supposed to ensure the dismantling of Hezbollah organization before Israel will withdraw its forces. Hezbollah as expected reacted with riots in Lebanon. That is a good agreement. The people of Lebanon are sick and tired of this terror organization causing them only devastation. We can pray for the people of Lebanon, of Gaza and the people of Iran, to be freed from rule of these terrorists. Thank you for your prayers and for partnering with us.

Arrows from Zion Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries

Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

    BoskeyAvnerRachel2026 cropped (84 x 75).jpg

In “Wheeling and Dealing in the Middle EastAvner Boskey of David’s Tent writes, “On Sunday June 14, 2026, POTUS Trump announced: “The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all!” An Iranian-American ‘Peace Deal’ (MOU, or Memorandum of Understanding) was digitally signed privately on Sunday June 14, and will be publicly signed in Switzerland on Friday June 19, 2026. Will this ‘Iranian Deal’ end up solving Middle Eastern problems – or will it end up dissolving Trump’s government and turning the POTUS’ heart away from the God of Jacob and His Jewish people?

“. . . .In ‘Slow Train Comin,’ Bob Dylan wryly comments: “All that foreign oil controlling American soil. Look around you, it’s just bound to make you embarrassed. Sheiks walkin’ around like kings wearing fancy jewels and nose rings, deciding America’s future from Amsterdam and to Paris. And there’s a slow, slow train comin’ up around the bend . . . Big-time negotiators, . . . Masters of the bluff and masters of the proposition.”
From there Avner goes on to explain the Persian-style principles of negotiations something I am quite sure none of the active negotiators on the American side of these Iranian talks know about in the least! Avner finishes with How shall we then pray? One of those prayer points: Pray that spiritual deception will be broken and nullified over America’s leadership, some who seem to be choosing to side with the jihadi anti-Israel forces of Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran
    Rachel
writes: On Shabbat June 20 We hosted a blessed event at Moshav Yad HaShmonah near Jerusalem. Our E37 Launch party celebrating the online platforming of our E37 Institute series after 3-1/2 years of work, creative collaboration and preparation. With about 90 friends, we enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and homemade cookies, and we presented the vision and purpose of E37, showing videos and reels from the coming series. We are so thankful for those who joined us and celebrated with us. Much encouraging feedback has strengthened our hearts. We hope to post a video (on Facebook) of the launch party in coming weeks. We are so glad for the timing of the Lord, that David Boskey could be with us for this event. The Lord’s timing in the release of E37 seems quite clear. We desire to raise up the truth of His Word regarding His heart and purposes for Israel and push back the darkness with His light and the sword of His Spirit, the Word of God. We are thankful for your prayers and encouragement

    CohenGuyTali2022.jpg

Guy Cohen of Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco is a native Israeli and a ‘Fisher of Men’. In the article he posted on Facebook, which he gave me permission to republish, Cohen speaks to the biblical role Israel still holds in God’s plans. Contrary to many Christians who believe God replaced Israel with the Church, Guy speaks about the Bible is clear about the consistency of God’s faithfulness to Israel: “When Christian leaders study Jewish history yet conclude that the reestablishment of the State of Israel holds no spiritual significance, or when they present the Jewish people as having been completely rejected by God, I believe they are overlooking a central aspect of the biblical witness.”

Before Zionism there was Zion (300 x 200).jpg

Guy writes in Before There was Zionism, There was Zion: “I have often found myself standing before believers in Yeshua who objected to the word “Zionism.” For some, the term is viewed solely as a political concept, something that has no place in matters of faith. Yet as a Messianic Jew, I repeatedly found myself opening the Scriptures and explaining what Zion is, why it is so central to the Bible, how it is connected to God’s promises to Israel, and why generations of Jews carried their prayers, longings, and hopes toward it….” MORE

    KleinArniYonit2017 (162 x 85).jpg

Arni Klein writing for Emmaus Way gives this praise report: “We have just returned to Israel from our third visit to Uganda, having presented the eight-session seminar “On Earth as it is in Heaven” six times in all. It’s been a great privilege to be sent into a field that has received us personally along with the burden we have carried for more than three decades. You can probably imagine how rewarding it is to again and again hear, particularly from pastors and ministers, how this word has deeply impacted their lives and revolutionized their ministries. The revelation of God being a person and their seeing Israel from His perspective, as simple and straightforward as it is, has taken them to a new depth of intimacy and understanding. We feel like we are in on the ground floor of an awakening of a potential multitude to a long-awaited dream. . . . “In an unexpected moment, the folks that God used to get us off the ground were no longer able to continue as part of the work. . . .our ministry activities have shifted to focus more on working with congregations and groups and limiting the number of seminars for the general public to one each visit instead of two. Our general plan to be there for at least a month four times this year remains unchanged. This change of people, places, and things landed in rapid succession with the unction of a small tsunami. Once we caught our breath we realized we were quite okay and marveled at how settled we felt so soon after such an upheaval. We are reminded that every God-ordained pioneering initiative comes with a direct line to a heavenly tow truck. Praise the Lord.”

“. . . . As we seek the Lord to accomplish the vision, a crucial step is to get all the material translated into Luganda. . . .We have found someone to do a voice-over translation for the seminar and the foundations course. We estimate the cost for translation and studio recording time for about forty hours of teaching to be around $2500. We are starting the work in faith trusting the Lord to supply the need, as it’s an absolute must. Praise the Lord that the apartment expense and Annie’s support is basically covered. We continue to cover the flight costs ourselves of $2500 dollars per trip. Offerings from the Body at large there are virtually non-existent, as the average salary is less than $200 per month. If what we have shared over the years has been a blessing to any of you, perhaps you would consider having a part in equipping the Body in Africa to raise up dwelling places for the Lord all across the continent.”

“. . . . With all this focus on Africa, it bears reiterating that the reason we’re there is to raise spiritual support for the Body in Israel. The steps set forth in Scripture are simple to follow: 1) The Lord’s return and the awakening of the church are connected to the eyes of Israel being opened (Matt. 23:39, Rom.11:15); 2) The blindness being removed from Israel is the result of the nations coming to fullness (Rom.11:25); and 3) We understand the fullness of the nations to be their entering into their primary calling and purpose regarding Israel (Rom.11:11), in the realization that a fruit of being grafted in as partakers of the commonwealth of Israel includes taking the calling of Israel as their own, which is to be the dwelling place of God.” Donations to Emmaus Way here

    Howard Bass
reports on 6/22 from the Beer Sheva Yeshua’s Inheritance/Nachalat Yeshua congregation that one of the soldiers of the congregation was “seriously injured in a tank ambush in Lebanon” (6/16-17). Howard writes, “Many prayed around the country, and also abroad, and he left the hospital already on Friday, and was at our service on Shabbat! He told the congregation what happened, and how God saved him from what he thought was going to end up in his death. The other three soldiers in his tank were injured more severely and are still hospitalized in Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Yair still has 1 1/2 years to go for his military service. This was the second time in little over two months that Yair had given the congregation a testimony of what’s going on in his war experience, and on both occasions gave glory to the Lord for rescuing him from what he truly believed was going to be the end of his life. He is receiving trauma care, both from the military, and also from believers who specialize in these situations. Thank you for praying for the soldiers here most of whom have only known war during their lives. | On the family front, Joyanna, Evan Bass’ wife gave birth to a Bass grandson IN A CAR on the way to a Tulsa hospital. “By the grace of God, a friend, and a former nurse, was in the car with them on the way.  Evan could keep driving while God was bringing a boy into the world!” This is the 9th grandchild for Randi and Howard, the 3rd grandson, the 1st grandson with the last name of Bass. Don’t miss: How the War Could Have Ended | “Israel was planning to destroy hundreds of key targets in Iran in one continuous air campaign, paralyzing Iran’s power and transportation grids in one swift lethal move. Such a large-scale assault was designed to prove to the enemy, once and for all, that Israel is done playing games of cat and mouse at the expense of our entire civilian population that was, once again, sheltering in bomb shelters with Iranian missiles overhead. This nasty war that was forced upon Israel by her enemies 2.5 years ago could have ended with a resounding and definite victory; a victory that would have resulted in a genuine regime change, freedom to the Iranian civilians, and stability to the entire region. In our opinion, the short term suffering of the “innocents” would have been outweighed by the long term positive outcomes. But it did not happen.”

Ruby is a Christian Arab on the leadership team of Fields of Wheat team who has a really exciting vision for providing ministry and opportunity for Christian Arab youth as he has seen and been part of for Israeli Messianic Jewish youth. Fields of Wheat is delighted with Ruby’s visions and being a part of it too.
On his 30th birthday in June Ruby wrote, “One of the Israeli news websites uploaded a page where you can put in your birth date, and it calculates how much of your life has been spent in war. Not only official wars, but also intifadas, terror waves, military operations, and everything in between. . . . I put in my birth date, mostly out of curiosity, and the result honestly stopped me for a second. It said that 52% of my life has been spent at war. At first, I thought there must be some mistake….the math checked out. More than half of my life has been lived in a reality of war.
That is a strange thing to write. It is even stranger to realize that, in some way, it has become normal. I grew up with this reality. Sirens, military operations, tension in the north or the south, terror attacks, rockets, funerals, news updates, and the feeling that everything can change in one moment. For Israelis, this is not just “current events.” It becomes part of how you grow up. It shapes the way you think, the way you plan, the way you pray, and sometimes even the way you hope.
And then I thought about the teenagers we serve. . . .the percentage of their lives spent in war is even higher. Some of them have spent most of their childhood and teenage years under this shadow. For them, canceled school, canceled camps, running to shelters, parents being called into reserves, and living with uncertainty are not rare moments. They are part of life.

That thought has stayed with me. Because when we talk about youth ministry in Israel, we are not talking about ministry in a simple or normal environment. We are talking about young people who are carrying fear, pressure, grief, confusion, and questions that are much bigger than their age. And in the last few months, that weight has only become heavier.
….We know plans can change here very quickly. We have learned that again and again. But we also know why this matters. In a place where everything feels fragile, our young people need something deeper than just encouragement. They need an anchor. They need truth. They need community. They need to know that even when the world around them feels unstable, God is not shaken. And honestly, I need that reminder too….Our hope has to be in Yeshua.
….Please pray for our summer camp. Pray that we will be able to gather. Pray that the teens will come with open hearts. Pray that it will be a place of rest, joy, healing, and encounter with God.

    MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (116 x 75).jpg

Chaim Malespin, Aliyah Return Center, sends this video update on 6/19 called, Trauma and the Path to Healing. Chaim tours the Nova Festival Memorial that tells many of the stories that came out of the October 7th, 2023 Hamas attack on Israeli citizens. He brings the reality home – no horrific violent scenes – but he brings it home how Israel is on the closest “borders” with Islamist terrorists.

MY VIEW is Israel is the frontlines fighters of the Islamist invasion going on across the world. You may not get that at this moment, many don’t, and especially we in USA falsely feel we are FAR away from facing that particular Jihad war, but we are not. It is springing up all around us and most of you are like the proverbial frog in a heating caldron imagining it is a Jacuzzi hot tub! Jihadist have the same thing in mind for Americans that they have for Israel, the UK and Europe. You may think you are safe, but if you asked the Brits & Europeans if they still believe they are safe, normal citizens would answer NO. The blindness in the Western nations to the Jihad invasion is what is going to bring many back to faith in the God of their forefathers. The slaughter of innocents by Jihadists is NOT GOD’S PLAN, but it will decisively determine who returns to God and who will not.

The team at Tree of Life Israel led by Ariel & Shayla Hyde continue to inform Israelis about the sin of abortion in a video testimony “I Couldn’t Forgive Myself.” Watch and share about Larissa who was Broken by Abortion, Healed & Restored by Jesus. Their prayer points are for many hearts in Israel to be softened to the truth of the Gospel, and for the release of Larissa’s story to be protected for social from social media platform restrictions. Pray the video reaches those who will hear, repents and be healed.

Heavily involved in their School of Music & the Arts, Leon Mazin who leads the Return to Zion congregation, talks about summer season switch from academics to their annual concerts and the other projects that their ministry id involved with: to street people battling deep addictions, to the soup kitchen distributing hot meals to seniors in assisted living facilities and new immigrants. “All of these individuals — the lonely elderly and those on the streets—deeply need care, acceptance, and tangible God’s love. We would be so grateful if you would keep them, and our team, in your prayers. Thank you for standing with us through your prayers and financial support. You are a vital part of every story of transformation here. May God bless you abundantly. “

Youval & Valerie Yanay head the Revive Israel discipleship community in the Messianic village of Yad HaShmona. They too are marking the end of the academic year with graduations and end of year ceremonies. They are also in prep for the youth Camp Connexion in France with French youth peers. It is a week of discipleship, fellowship, and unity. “We are praying that this gathering would become a place where young people encounter the Lord, grow in their faith, and experience the unity that comes through Yeshua.” They ask prayers for the French Connexion and also for the Friday Market at the summer harvest continues to bear edible fruit, they seek spiritual fruit to be abundant to. “Pray for continued blessing over the farm and all those who serve here.”

They write, “Tel Aviv – an ultra-progressive city with a large and influential LGBTQ community that has a lot of influence…. It is super personalized. We don’t rush the process. . . .we found that this investment in new believers also establishes closer relationships with the team and the congregation and really brings them into the family of faith. . . .Your support allows us to invest in people who are seeking for truth and make more disciples for the harvest that God has promised for Israel. SilverStefanKeren2026 (91 x 85).jpg
Stefan and Keren Silver lead the Kerem-El/God’s Vineyard congregation which is a daughter to the HaCarmel congregation. They lead off their report with the much needed renovation of their meeting room at Beit Yedida, another ministry established out of HaCarmel. Out with the worn out fabrics, fixtures & floors and in with new warmth and welcoming updates for their gatherings. Even new chairs! All possible through “the generosity of faithful donors and the sacrificial giving of members .” More renovation to come, if you would like to help out, the total cost will be between 85-90,000 NIS which is between $28,000 to just shy of $30,000 USD) Give via PayPal Give via F.I.R.M.)

The congregation’s prayer requests are echoed throughout the congregations of Israel:

Pray for super natural strength. We’ve been in a stressful and very challenging situation for over 8 weeks straight and this of course is taking a toll on our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical strength. Please pray for the Lord to renew our community in all aspects.

Pray for comfort. Many people and families in our congregation have family members in the army and need the Lords comfort and peace.

Pray for the pre-military academy cadets. Pray the seeds sown in the lives of the cadets to bring them to Yeshua, the one who saves, and for opportunities to host more of them in the future.

Pray for our pastoral team. During these trying days we desperately need wisdom, creativity and the strength to lead the congregation ahead.

Pray for provision. For the renovation project, and all other financial needs that the ministry work requires: projects, overheads and salaries.

Pray for our soldiers. The young men and women who serve in the IDF, are not getting to come home as often because of the war. Please pray that the Lord will keep them and protect them, succeed them and that they would know the Lord deeply during their military service.

Pray for new social involvement opportunities. Pray for the Lord to open more doors for us as a congregation to reach out to our community especially during these trying days. Pray for boldness and zeal to share the good news with our neighbors, colleagues and friends.

We should grow in vigilance to find and guard our inner peace. This is the place where God’s voice can be heard in our human spirit. We must fast from the convenient “junk food” of the world so that we can develop a genuine hunger for the hearing of God’s Word. MazinLeonNina2021a (92 x 85).jpgShavei Tzion/Return to Zion’s Leon Mazin writes: Choose the Fruit, Not the Fear. This week 6/2 in Israel, we come to Parashat Sh’lach — the moment when the spies entered the Land and saw two things at the same time: the fruit of God’s promise, and the giants that made them afraid. That tension is still real in Israel today. Every day, we meet people who are carrying questions about identity, belonging, and purpose. New immigrants arrive in Israel with hope, but many also face uncertainty. They have returned to the Land, yet the journey of putting down roots, building community, and finding their place is often more difficult than they expected. Like the spies, it is easy to focus on the challenges. The headlines are filled with conflict, division, and instability. Many people feel overwhelmed by what they see around them. Yet God calls us to see something greater than the obstacles before us. At Return to Zion, we believe that helping people reconnect with their Biblical identity and heritage is part of that greater vision.

    EzagouriClaudeMichelle2026.jpg
Going through my inbox I found this report from April 30th that slipped by me from Claude & Michelle Ezagouri of the Morning Star Fellowship in Tiberias. (Apologies!)

They write, “Our fellowship has been strengthened by these troubled times. Our main goal is to purify ourselves and to be found holy before Him as we know that He will come to take His spotless bride. We also learnt to be attentive to what God is saying to us, as it is exemplified in the following testimony.

Testimony: A member of our fellowship was driving when suddenly the alert started. According to the instructions from the home front command, he was supposed to move away from the car and lie down to the field adjacent to the road. However, he heard a loud inner voice telling him to get out of the car and lie down right there. The missile fell right on the field where he was supposed to go according to the instructions. The explosion was very strong, but he got out of this unharmed. The incident and the Lord’s intervention have had a positive impact on his faith.

Being Available to Help: Some people have a hard time during the alerts, and we want to be a factor of comfort and encouragement to them. Others lost their jobs temporarily and the fellowship wants to help the needy so our store for humanitarian help downtown was open even during the war. Please pray that we may keep up the good work that the Lord has called us to do for such a time as this. The children couldn’t go to school for the whole time of the war, so a family from the congregation started a midweek meeting of fellowship, worship and food for them. This is a blessing to the children who really value this time together.

MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpgAvi Mizrachi of Dugit Outreach Ministries in Tel Aviv sends this 6/8 video update about the Iranian ballistic missiles targeting northern Israel. “We encourage you: PRAY FOR ISRAEL! We need your support and your prayers in times like these.”

While the headlines are filled with uncertainty, God continues to open doors for the Good News in Israel. This week, we have the privilege of hosting a local Israeli worship team for an evening of worship, pizza, and fellowship for youth and young adults in the heart of Tel Aviv. Many non-believing friends have been invited. . . . As summer begins, we are preparing to refresh our coffee shop—a vital part of our outreach ministry in Tel Aviv. We are updating the space with a new look and atmosphere that reflects the vibrant spirit of Tel Aviv while creating an even more inviting setting for ministry. For many young Israelis, our coffee shop is much more than a place to enjoy a cup of coffee. It is a welcoming environment where relationships are built, meaningful conversations take place, and people encounter the message of Yeshua in a natural and authentic way. During the renovation period, the coffee shop will temporarily close, and we are trusting God to provide the resources needed to complete this important project. Would you prayerfully consider partneringw/us?

    CohenGuyTali2022.jpg
In When the Lion Killed the Prophet, Harvest of Asher pastor Guy Cohen teaches from 1 Kings 13 to take to heart: “In the last days, it will not be enough merely to know the Scriptures. We must also know the voice of God. Many will hear spiritual voices and be exposed to various teachings, prophecies, and revelations. But only those who cultivate a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, remain rooted in the Word of God, and exercise spiritual discernment will be able to distinguish truth from deception and remain faithful until the coming of the Lord.

The tragedy of the man of God teaches us that hearing God once is not enough. We must continue walking in obedience to what He has spoken and guard our hearts against voices that seek to pull us away from His truth. The Holy Spirit does not lead every believer in exactly the same way. Some are guided primarily through Scripture. Others receive direction in prayer. Some experience a strong inward witness of peace or warning. Others receive confirmation through the body of believers. At times, God even uses circumstances to direct our steps. The methods may differ, but the source is the same. The Holy Spirit knows each believer personally and leads each one according to God’s purpose and calling. Yet no matter how He speaks, He will never contradict the Word He has already given.

Shiffsally2019 (81 x 85).jpgSally Shiff is the Enlish-speaking liaison of HaMaayan congregation – & now in the US for speaking engagements (email for itinerary). Sally Returns July 17 to Israel. IMPORTANT MEETING SCHEDULED ON RETURN “with US Ambassador Michael Huckabee July 21 to discuss Aliyah and the Messianic community. Please pray for wisdom.”
    * DD: Critical Intercession: In trying to be a good friend to Israel, it has become too easy for high level evangelical leaders like Mike Huckabee to be silent about Israel’s Messianic Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus AND the international Messianic Jews who want to immigrate to Israel because of rising anti-Semitic dangers in their nations
. The religious powers that be in Israel will try everything they can to find out if an Aliyah-seeker is a believer in Jesus in order to BLOCK ENTRY INTO THE JEWISH HOMELAND. Personally I applaud Sally for having the courage to make this appointment to discuss this with Mike Huckabee. If ever there was a time for the Esther’s to arise for this purpose it is NOW!

BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpgHoward Bass of Nachalat Yeshua/Yeshua’s Inheritance makes some interesting observations about the standard of going through some program before getting baptized is not really biblical. Have to agree with that. Understanding what took place when you did get baptized is something that should come up in Discipleship. Let new believers take the plunge immediately is my view too because it is an important part of public profession of faith: Say with the mouth, then demonstrate in your body.

Howard also writes about “the Isaiah 19 conference in Cyprus the last week of May. It went very well, by God’s grace, given the divisions caused by Israel in the wisdom and righteousness of God. There was honesty among the participants from about 10 countries from the Middle East, N. Africa, and Mediterranean region. We all have experiences that draw out the emotions, and factor into our views and practice of what we believe, or not. Yet the Spirit was there, too, doing His work to keep everything in the love of Messiah/Christ. When there is light, there is fellowship! …

The conference is grounded on the truth that YHVH God keeps His word, and that includes His covenants and promises and oaths which He has made regarding the physical seed of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob; the land and nation of Israel; the city of Jerusalem; various specific nations round about Israel, and all the others; the believers in Jesus Christ the Son of God. In other words, the conference is grounded on the truth that replacement theology is a false one. I’ve personally come to the conclusion that any “theology” or worldview that denies that the Lord Yeshua the Messiah/Jesus Christ is coming again to judge the nations and establish God’s Kingdom on the Earth from Jerusalem, Israel, for 1000 years before the eternal new and perfect heavens and new Earth are created, and before the final judgment and separation of those condemned from those justified is replacement theology by whatever name: our own understanding or preference replacing the Creator and Redeemer’s own plan and will to visibly sanctify and vindicate His Holy Name.

Together we reviewed what worked well, what could be improved, and how we can better prepare for the next discipleship training this October. We are grateful for all that the Lord did during those forty days and are already looking ahead with expectation. . . . At the same time, preparations for France are now being finalized. Twenty-nine Israeli teenagers will be joining us for a week of discipleship, fellowship, and rest in the south of France. We are currently finalizing the teachings and program schedule and are praying for God’s wisdom over every detail. BenderRonit2026 (84 x 100).jpgRonit Bender (email) out of the Carmel Congregation gives news about a couple of friends many Christians have visited with in the past when they ran The Galilee Experience in Tiberias. Ronit wrote: “Recently Sofy and I went to visit old friends of mine, Terri and Eric. They were there for Tom and I when we came to Israel twenty-one years ago, for which I will always be grateful. Years have gone by and there was no contact, but a couple of weeks ago, I felt an urgency of the Lord to go and visit them. Terri will be 90 years old in September! When entering their home situated above the Sea of Galilee, we realized that Terri was experiencing a difficulty in breathing. The Spirit of God rose within my heart, and I prayed for her. Instantly she felt strength returning to her body. We had a wonderful visit and will visit again in a couple of weeks. Terri and I share the passion for reaching out to Israelis; it really burns within us. Please continue to pray for her full recovery, and for Eric, her husband, who is recovering from a hip replacement operation.

Every so often something happens that shakes your life. My friend, Scott Baker, (Coleen’s husband) had a stroke. A young man 65 years old, seemingly healthy, just melted to the floor in the congregation’s Tuesday watch prayer meeting. . . . so please pray for his quick and full recovery, for Coleen, who besides being a friend, edits my newsletters, and pray for their family.
Correction: Ronit’s friend with the hair salon is not an Arab believer but a Russian Jewess.

HydeCarolynRichard 2026 (99 x 80).jpgHeart of G-d Carolyn & Richard Hyde (I see from Facebook) are currently in Singapore. Before this trip Carolyn shared “I’ve commanded the ravens to provide for you there.” 1 Kings 17:4 And that’s exactly what Adonai did for us as we prayer-walked in the desert during the recent PAJ, Prophetic Artists Journey – please click above to view. Several impressions from a friend: “While the enemy watches, the Father provides. The fact that this occurred at Ein Gedi, a place of refuge and provision in the wilderness is significant. Ravens are considered unclean yet Abba used them to serve His purposes, beautifully reminding us that the Father is more than able to provide, sustain, and release what is needed, even unexpectedly!”

“ . . . . While hitchhiking into town, I was offered a ride by a woman who, as we began to chat, said she’s terrified of what’s coming next in this world. When I told her I’m not afraid, she asked why. As I explained why I follow Yeshua, although we were alone in the car, she leaned over and whispered, “Are you referring to Jesus? I’ve been looking into Him as the Messiah!” Richard and I recently visited her and we’re truly grateful for these divine appointments that allow us to speak of the Hope of Israel to our people!”

BeenerMichaelDina2025 (95 x 85).jpgMichael Beener of the City of Life in Sderot writes, “A Biblical Gathering: Nations Unite at the Israeli Parliament | Christian leaders from around the world and members of the Israeli parliament gathered in Jerusalem at the Knesset to pray and express solidarity with Israel, paving the path toward the “one new man” described in Ephesians 2:15–16, where Scripture speaks of breaking down division and bringing Jew and Gentile together as one body in Christ. Watch the Video

In a time marked by growing antisemitism, misinformation, and division, this gathering carried a clear message of alignment with biblical truth and enduring Judeo Christian values. From Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you,” to Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you,” the call remains unchanged. We are invited to stand in prayer for Jerusalem and align ourselves with God’s ongoing purposes for Israel and the nations. Learn more

Where are the Next Generation of Christian Zionists? |”This week I want to share with you an issue that has been on my heart for many years now. A few years ago I heard about a well respected Israeli ministry that held a Succot – Feast of Tabernacles celebration in London. More than 1200 people attended the event and one of the guest speakers asked the attendees to raise their hand if they were under 30 years old. Sadly only a very small number of hands were raised.

“That came as a confirmation of what I saw in almost every Israel meeting or event that I was invited to during the 24 years that I was speaking in the nations before Covid hit. It was very rare, outside of Sunday Church services, that I saw young people in the audience. I praise Adonai for the older folk, many of whom have been faithfully standing with, and praying for Israel for years, but we desperately need to raise up the upcoming generations to hand the ‘Israel baton’ to and follow in their parents and grandparents footsteps. If we don’t, who will there be to stand with Israel and the Jewish people in the troubling times ahead?

“. . . .If you are … reading this article, you are most likely a Christian Zionist and may feel that you are not a ‘normal’ Christian. I want to tell you that you are normal. It is the others who are not Zionists who have a serious problem, and they are depriving the younger generations of knowing the truth about God and Israel. And they are depriving the Kingdom of God of the next generation of those who will love, pray for and stand with Israel and the Jewish people. To make the situation even worse the young people are being corrupted by the anti Semitic content on social media and the internet. Unless this most serious situation changes, and the Lord tarries, where will the next generation of Christian Zionists come from?’ Read in full here

MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (116 x 75).jpgChaim Malespin of the Aliyah Return Center sent video and a message 5/59:

This week, I had the privilege of representing the Aliyah Return Center at the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast. It was truly a breath of fresh air. In a season of war, with far fewer visitors making the journey to Israel, there was something deeply encouraging about gathering with people who are standing with us in prayer through these difficult times. At the request of our hosts, I had the opportunity to share a presentation on the current situation on the ground.

As we are approaching nearly 1,000 days of war, I still have hope. What helps me stand strong, is remembering God’s promises. We trust that He is leading us toward victory in Iran, Lebanon, Gaza, and beyond. At the same time, it is undeniable that antisemitism has risen sharply across the globe since the war began. Jewish communities in the UK, France, and many other nations are facing a level of hostility that is deeply troubling.

I believe we are on the cusp of a great wave of Aliyah. Once this war end, I believe more Jewish people will be returning home to Israel. This is a fulfillment of God’s Word. He has promised that He would call His people home, and He is faithful. Not every Jewish immigrant arrives from a place of comfort or stability. Many families settling in the Galilee are arriving with very little, facing real hardship as they begin their new lives. That is precisely why the Aliyah Return Center is here — providing clothing and furniture distribution, grocery vouchers, and practical support wherever we can.

Every family we serve is a testimony to God’s faithfulness in action. WILL YOU STAND WITH US? We cannot do this work alone. As the wave of Aliyah grows, so does the need. Your generosity makes it possible to welcome each family and help assist them in getting started in their new homeland. Would you consider making a donation today to support Jewish families returning home to Israel?

Arrows from Zion Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries

Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

Reuven Doron, One New Man Today, writes a level-headed, well-informed analysis on what is happening in the actual front of dealing with Iran and her proxy terrorist war-makers on Israel: Israel Under Siege | Israel continues to maintain daily limited military activities against the terror armies active on her Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria fronts since our enemies refuse to abide by the “ceasefire” agreements they signed. We wouldn’t say that “we told you so,” but the fact is that we did tell you in past writings that paper agreements and political maneuverings with Jihadi muslims simply buy them precious time to re-arm, refresh, and renew their evil acts. The true Islamic spirit and mindset cannot and will not surrender to any “Infidel,” whether Zionist or Christian. Israel’s presence in the Middle East remains Islam’s biggest “call to action” and main excuse for their repeated and flagrant national failures. Please keep our soldiers in your prayers. Our troops are in harm’s way, and our civilian border communities daily come under enemy fire. read it in full

Reuven also shares this on the past weekend’s Pentecost: The First Revival AND if you didn’t already read Reuven’s fantastic article, The Cost of Vision, on the true story of friendship between Theodore Herzl and the Reverend William Henry Hechler, and how it laid the foundational start in the late 1800’s for the State of Israel – you really don’t know what you are missing. God intends us to work TOGETHER!

MazinLeonNina2021a (92 x 85).jpgLeon Mazin, Return to Zion congregation in Haifa writes, The First Fruits are People.

“The tables from Shavuot have been cleared. The children have gone home. The songs, conversations, laughter, and prayers of the festival have quieted. But the real fruit of this gathering is only beginning. Shavuot reminds us of harvest, first fruits, and the giving of God’s Word — but here in Haifa, we saw again that. . .the first fruits are people. Families came. Children listened. New immigrants and local Israeli families entered a place of warmth, community, and biblical meaning. This is why Return to Zion creates these gatherings. We are not simply organizing holiday events. We are building a bridge — from event to relationship, from relationship to trust, and from trust to genuine spiritual openness.

Many of the families we serve, especially olim who have returned to Israel from the nations, are still searching for stability, belonging, and a meaningful place in the land. A holiday festival may look simple from the outside, but inside it are seeds: a child hearing the story of Sinai, a parent feeling welcomed, a family discovering that they are not alone, and a relationship beginning that can continue long after the event ends. This is the harvest we are asking you to help us continue. . . .Would you stand with us today and help us continue turning these moments into lasting fruit?

    Hyde Ariel Shayla (99 x 85).jpg
The Tree of Life Israel team leader Ariel Hyde send this great podcast following the Shavuot Feast of the LORD foreshadowing Acts 2 outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Yeshua’s disciples, “When the day of Pentecost came.” The podcast addresses Why We Need More of the Spirit. And please share this video on all social media outlets!

PochtarIsraelVicky2023 (150 x 80).jpgIsrael Pochtar pastor of Beit Hallel in Ashdod writes, “This week, we are reminded that the harvest Jesus spoke about is not theoretical—it is right in front of us here in Israel. Sometimes that harvest looks like a lonely nursing home resident opening her heart to prayer for the very first time. Sometimes it looks like Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem receiving dignity, fellowship, and loving care. Sometimes it looks like young people opening the Scriptures and learning to recognize the voice of Yeshua in a confused generation. And sometimes it looks like creating practical ways to feed struggling families with dignity across this land. This is the beauty of Kingdom ministry. The love of Yeshua reaches both the heart and the hands. Again and again, we see how simple acts of obedience can become doorways for eternal impact.

Thank you for standing with us in this work. Through your prayers and partnership, lives are being touched across Israel—through both spiritual ministry and practical compassion. The harvest is still plentiful, and we are grateful to be laboring in it together.

    MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (116 x 75).jpg

Chaim Malesin, The Faithful Galileans writes, Keep the Altar Burning: Support the Galilee Movement | The Wall is Finished. Now, We Fill the City. In the book of Nehemiah, the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt in 52 days. When their enemies saw it, they lost their confidence because they knew this work was done with the help of God. Over these past 52 days, you helped us do the same in the Galilee. Stone by stone, the renovations are complete. The Vertical Galilee House of Prayer and our two base buildings are finished. We have a new kitchen for Shabbat hospitality and living spaces ready for those standing with Israel. To everyone who prayed, gave, and entered the shofar drawing (Again congratulations to Thomas from Grace Family Church!), thank you!

But the wall is just the beginning. The city is not yet full. Our Next Goal: Rallying 120 Nations | When we set out on this 52-day journey, it was never just about bricks and mortar. The vision has always been global: to rally leaders in 120 nations to launch a massive prayer and volunteer movement. Email Reply here to learn more

BeenerMichaelDina2025 (95 x 85).jpgMichael Beener of the City of Life in Sderot writes, “Israel and the Church, Separated or Connected? |Israel continues to be one of the most discussed places in the world, yet much of the conversation today is shaped by politics, media narratives, and public opinion. Within this complexity, there is also a need to return to a different lens, one rooted in Scripture, where Israel is not only viewed through current events but through what the Bible says about its place in God’s story. In a conversation with Pastor Denis Gallaher, this perspective was clearly emphasized WATCH.

NetanelRachelGilad2026 (88 x 82).jpgRachel Netanel of the House that God Gave in Ein Kerim writes: The God of Israel is faithful! | While Israel has been at war, God has been at work in the hearts of His people. These days have been an incredible time for sharing the Gospel especially during the war. While rockets fall and soldiers have been called up including the reserve soldiers, Israelis are feeling frightened, insecure, depressed and confused. They want to know what is happening. This is the time of the harvest. . . . The people need hope and we as believers have this hope. Their ears are open to listen and the believers in the true Messiah of Israel must be faithful to speak out. The very Land of Israel is a miracle, and nations have wanted to destroy us for centuries but the God of Israel is a faithful God. There is no safer place to be, but under His protection. Rachel and Gilad serve hospitality and the Good News to the Israelis of all walks of life brought to their home by friends, relatives and even tour guides. Large groups or small groups, this is a house ministry devoted to sharing with Israelis the love Messiah has for them. I always enjoy hearing of the groups they are hosting – including the recent soldiers from her grandson’s unit. Rachel is a significant evangelist in Israel, don’t think it’s just a hospitality home! Make donations through Tikkun.

BoskeyRachelAvner (124 x 80).jpgAvner Boskey writes from David’s Tent, “Today it is time for us to give you an update on our Ezekiel 37 Institute. We are happy, excited, encouraged and expectant! ….We are a few weeks away from the release of E37 on multiple media platforms. Today it really struck me that we are birthing something that could be described as a full-fledged and unique media company. We are about to launch a huge amount of top-notch teaching on multiple media platforms – about Israel, the end times, the Bible, Jewish history past and present, prophecy and more. These will be full-length videos, short-form videos, graphics, texts, links and other updates.” Read in full online

BikasDovOlga2019.jpgDov Bikas writes from the Aviv Ministry, “When you look at the different projects the Lord has entrusted to us, you may ask: what unites all these people we serve? At first glance, they seem very different – people struggling with addiction and homelessness, single mothers and their children, victims of domestic violence, new immigrants, people with disabilities, the elderly, and the poor. Yet behind so many of these stories we see one common reality: vulnerability….God calls His people to care for “the widow, the orphan, and the stranger.” Why them specifically? I believe these were the most vulnerable members of society….We believe God sees these people with the same compassion He showed throughout the Bible. With your partnership, we seek to bring them His love and care – sharing the Gospel, creating safe places, offering practical help, and supporting them on their path toward restoration. Thank you for walking this journey together with us! You can see much of what they are doing by following Aviv Ministry on Facebook.

SilverStefanKeren2026 (91 x 85).jpgSilverDavidJosie2021a (111 x 85).jpgStefan Silver writing for his parent’s Out of Zion ministry, writes of An Immovable Covenant: “Because you share in this covenant, you are called to a specific labor of love. In an age of rising global anti-semitism and anti-Israelism, you must be the ones who stand on the walls and declare the truth of God’s faithfulness to those who stand against Israel. To love the Jewish people is to reflect the compassion of the Lord mentioned in Isaiah 54 – standing with the physical nation of Israel while fervently interceding for and supporting its spiritual awakening. While the mountains of geopolitical stability may depart, and the hills of international favor may be removed, the Word of our God stands forever. Israel is home. The King is at the door. And His Covenant of Peace will never be shaken.Read all the letter online

IntraterBettyAsher1 (150 x 79).jpgTikkun Global’s Ariel Blumenthal looks at Isaiah 61 and Luke 4 to speak to a Double Portion for the One New Man. This teaching explores how Luke 4 reveals Yeshua’s mission, the resistance in Israel’s heart, and God’s plan to bring the Gospel beyond Israel to the nations. Could Isaiah 61 also be speaking prophetically about the restoration of Zion, the unity of Jew and Gentile, and a ‘double portion’ blessing for those who partner with God’s purposes? | Read Ariel’s article One New Man: The Mystery of Messiah | New Worship Song “Tov Adonai U’Mehulal Meod,” an original Hebrew song written by Jeremiah Smilovici, inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:8–9.

    CohenMoti2025 (61 x 80).jpg
The team at Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv led by Moti Cohen write, about “Investing in the Harvest | Two weeks ago, we shared how the historic drop of the dollar has impacted our ministry finances. The response of many of you was a beautiful answer to prayer, and we thank God for your faithfulness! Yet, our financial challenge is not over, and the need to keep our doors open in downtown Tel Aviv remains urgent. BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpgHoward Bass of the Beer Sheva Nachalat Yeshua congregation (Yeshua’s Inheritance) writes, “One lesson that this carnal and spiritual war with Iran, etc, that the US and others should be learning is how unrealistic they have been, even hypocritical, in expecting Israel to come to terms with Hamas when they themselves don’t and can’t defeat them or Iran, or Hezbollah; ceasefires only strengthen the enemy, making it more difficult to renew the war for the “right” side. A carnal enemy may surrender, at least outwardly; a spiritual enemy cannot be defeated by the flesh, or the force of arms. God will make use of those things, but until the Messiah returns and fights the final battle Himself (and with the resurrected and raptured saints, if I understand correctly), evil will have the upper hand that only Yeshua/Jesus can permanently cut off! Antisemitism is a spiritual battle fought in the heavenlies, carried out in the flesh on the Earth. Again, there is no rational or humanistic solution to a spiritual hatred against the Sovereign YHVH God, who has chosen to make the Jewish people and Israel His chosen instruments through whom He will glorify His holy Name in all the Earth. Had He chosen the Arabs to be that vessel, then all of the animus against Him would be directed at them.

Antisemitism is a two-edged sword: those who hate and persecute and despise and humiliate Jews for being Jewish, and Christians for being associated with the Christ, Jesus, those people will bring YHVH’s wrath on them on the Day of the LORD; those who bless them and take their stand with them and for them, even at personal risk, God will bless. The other side of this sword is to cause more Jewish people to consider who they are, and why living in Israel is God’s plan for them, even, again, at much personal risk. God’s promises of redemption, salvation, and resurrection for those whose hope and trust is in Him, and more specifically through Jesus/Yeshua, is His antidote to every curse and poison.

SayeghRania2019a (78 x 85).jpgRania Sayegh of the House of Prayer & Exploits sends these: The Roar of the Lion & the Spirit of Prophecy (prophetic word) | Vision of the River in the Midst of Iran | Christian Arab prophetic intercessor in Nazareth: “Thank you for standing with us as we pursue God’s presence and believe for revival, transformation, and lasting impact in this season.

Called to Watch. Faithful to Discern. Ready to Respond.”

    MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpg
From Avi & Chaya Mizrachi at Dugit Outreach in Tel Aviv: What does it mean to bless Israel? “Certainly, we can bless Israel by praying for the peace of Jerusalem, standing with the Jewish people, and supporting the nation through difficult times. Yet there is an even greater blessing we can offer. The greatest need in Israel today is not political or economic – it is spiritual. Many Israelis know the stories of the Bible, but have never encountered Yeshua as the promised Jewish Messiah. That is why we are committed to sharing the Good News throughout Israel – in our congregation, through outreach events, on the streets of Tel Aviv, in our coffee shop, and through personal conversations every day. When you pray, give, and partner with ministries that proclaim the Good News in Israel, you are helping bring the greatest blessing of all: the message of salvation. For more than 30 years, DUGIT Outreach Ministries has been bringing the Good News of Yeshua to the people of Israel. We share the gospel, make disciples, pray without ceasing, and care for the hurting. Our Outreach Center and HaOgen Coffee House are located in Tel Aviv, Israel. Thank you for standing with us as we make Yeshua known in the land of Israel. Donate

RaikhstadtAleksey (85 x 85).jpgAleksey Raikhstadt of Beit Immanuel congregation in Jaffa sens these prayer requests: • Pray for the baptism of the new believers, that each one would be firmly established in faith, filled with the Holy Spirit, and strengthened to walk faithfully with the Lord • Pray for the anointing of a new elder, for wisdom, humility, discernment, and the empowering of the Holy Spirit for the calling entrusted to him • Pray for our monthly evangelism tours, which we’ve been able to resume in the midst of the ceasefire, and that the seeds planted would begin to take root. • Pray for families who were left without work during the war and are now struggling to make ends meet, that the Lord would provide for their daily needs • Pray for God’s provision for our monthly rent and facility needs, so that we may continue to have a physical place to gather, worship, disciple, and serve the community together.

These are not simple days for Israel. The security concerns around us are heavy and felt daily by every family in one way or another. Yet even in the midst of this, we see the faithfulness of God again and again. Where there is darkness, His light continues to shine. Where there is fear, He is drawing people into hope. Thank you for standing with us so faithfully, through prayer, encouragement, and partnership. Your support strengthens the work of the Gospel here in the very same land He first poured out His Spirit.

YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpgYouval & Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel write: “There was something beautiful about worshipping together during Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks) this year. As believers from across Israel gathered at the Baptist Village, you could feel the gratitude, the hunger, and the longing for God among the people as they were bringing their hearts before the Lord. . . .This national Messianic gathering reminded us that first fruits are not only brought from the field, but also from lives fully yielded to God and set apart for His glory.

And it didn’t begin there. Just the evening before, more than 400 young people from across Israel gathered together at Yad Hashmona for a night of worship and praise. Raphael had the opportunity to help lead worship there, and there was something beautiful about watching so many young believers openly worshipping Yeshua together, fully giving their hearts to the Lord. In a generation carrying so much confusion and heaviness, while living in a continual state of war and conflict, it was deeply moving to watch young believers openly worshipping Yeshua and responding to the presence of God. . . .During Shavuot, we are reminded again that the Holy Spirit is still moving, still drawing hearts to Yeshua, still healing, strengthening, and awakening people to the presence of God. Our prayer is that worship and surrender would continue rising from this land to the nations.”

5/29 This week was emotional for all of us as the discipleship program came to an end, and it was hard to say goodbye after everything these weeks held. . . .As part of our last few days together, we spent one evening at the beach. We sat there eating grilled fish while Liel shared about the love of God. Yeshua also sat with His disciples beside the sea, eating fish with them and speaking words that restored, called, and strengthened them. What made the evening even more powerful was that earlier that same morning, we had spent hours praying individually over every student. Later that night, many of them were still talking together about those prayers and about what God had been speaking into their lives.

As we end one season, we are preparing for the next with a group of 29 Israeli youth who will head with us to France at the beginning of July. We are excited for what the Lord will do through this next step, and we would love prayer for protection, provision, unity, and breakthrough in the lives of every young person joining. If this is on your heart, we also invite you to sow into this journey and help make it possible for these young people to encounter the Lord in a deep and personal way.

GuettaJenniferEliahu (125 x 87).jpgJennifer Guetta, Plant Hope Israel, wrtes about “Israeli New Agers dream about Jesus, Harvest Festival in the Galilee, Worship evening, Special BIRTHDAY REVEAL PARTY , and America tour.”

    | “In the midst of the war, the Lord Himself is awakening His people with dreams and visions. Last week, we heard 2 amazing stories of New Agers who dreamed about Yeshua, discovered that He was the Messiah and made Him Lord…..When many people come to know the Lord, they need prayer, deliverance, and discipleship. The Lord is putting it on our hearts to prepare for the coming revival so we can help these people. To facilitate deliverance, prayer, and discipleship….Will you help us? Please pray about it and let us know by helping us. |

On the 11th of June (my birthday), I am organizing a special birthday reveal party for my new personal paintings. During the war, as rockets flew over our heads, I started painting Jesus in Galilee. Focusing on Him calmed me. . . .I started drawing Him more and more, from my heart to reveal His glory to others. Each image is meant to bring you closer to Him. May these paintings help bring His glory to your household, and may He be revealed to all. WATCH LIVE ON YOUTUBE – write for the Zoom details.

MagenJoseph2024cropped (66 x 85).jpgJoseph Magen of Kehila.org is the part of the new generation of Israeli ministry leaders pioneering outreach. This is the major area of change for young people because they are dominantly getting their news, entertainment and learning from ONLINE VIDEO.

Old School communications had to include printed materials sent by postal mail to supporters. Then came email and everyone, even those dependent upon print material by postal delivery, had to get used to the fact that people wanted their information coming by email instead. That was us even for us, the generation now sporting naturally gray hair, able to write in cursive, and enjoying a good book to read.

The upcoming generation doesn’t want that! They want FAST delivery. They want to watch and listen to whatever they consume from media sources. Most have zero interest in articles, books or even letters. Texting is their idea of writing.

That’s why Joseph Magen’s Kehila site with over 49,790 videos from the Israeli Kehila is so brilliant. If you want to reach the younger generation with any message about Israel and God’s love for Israel, you are going to want to use this comprehensive video site Joseph has put together. He has the very latest videos coming out of the Israeli Messianic community.

Go explore and see it you don’t find videos – short and long – that you can send to friends & family to make a real impact. And please support this ministry. It is going to make such a major impact especially for the younger generations who have not yet discovered that the salvation of Israel is God’s plan and Christians are called to help make it happen. You can subscribe in the banner header at kehila.org and get the updates of new videos straight to your email. So worth knowing about and supporting too.

This has freed me up to do more writing of my own on the things God shows me with major emphasis to do with the Church re-uniting with the Israeli Remnant of Faith.

There are biblical reasons why I focus on Israeli Jews, because Israel is where God’s protection of the Jewish people has returned to in a world rapidly rising with hatred of the Jews. The word antisemitism no longer expresses the visceral hatred of God’s Chosen People, of whom Christians who have united with them and embrace God’s love for Israel are among. Ultimately we Christians must understand ourselves as having been joined by God in Jesus to the commonwealth of Israel. Those who will not are lacking in obedience to God, refusing to do His will, and refusing to express His love in their lives.

I am writing about things like this on my blog, where I am also posting the Arrows from Zion summaries every two weeks. NEXT WEEK I am also combining my two mailing lists into one list

that will arrive to Arrows subscribers from a new List-ID: IsraelPrayer <israelprayer.zionsglory.net>

These changes are not downsizing but so I expand my efforts and do more effective advocacy
with practical understandings and biblical insights I have accumulated over the past 24 years.

Time is short & not just because I’m 75! We are upon the times we have been talking, studying and praying about for a long time. Now we need to do what we were called to do by God.

    Part 1: REAL WOMEN

AbramovShlomyMiriam (105 x 85).jpgIsraeli believer congregations and ministries are all financially DEEPLY stressed right now! Are we going to step up and help, or not? First the virus lockdown, then Oct 7 and the toll of the aftermath, now the Iranian & their proxies warfare. Is there any way you can understand how critical it is that we come alongside them to help? We are talking ministry staff cuts that really hurt the ministry outreach. You may not think you have a lot, but you probably have more than they do. Even a little will help.

Arrows from Zion Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries

Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

Shlomy and Miriam Abramov, of Awake Israel Ministries in central Israel reported on Facebook 5/12: As you know it has been really nice and refreshing to gather our thoughts and have some peace this past few weeks now. Today however there is a horrible spirit all around and crazy drivers again and bad behaviors and you can feel war is coming again. Everyone knows it, everyone feels it, it is fear. Fear of what was before is upon us. It’s like you can slice it if it were a cake. It comes when really bad is upon us, here in the holy land you can literally feel it upon us.

Reuven Emerg Prepar (300 x 193).jpgReuven Doron, One New Man Today, files this video report on Emergency Preparedness and the emergency provision containers that are placed all over Israel with items Israelis would need in all kinds of emergencies from wars to fires or earthquakes. ALSO read his article, Blessed or Cursed? The Key to a Blessed Life. To access what Reuven sends in his newsletters full of insights on current events and biblical insight into what is taking place concerning Israel, Learn more here and SUBSCRIBE to his newsletter.

JUST IN MUST READ: I cried my eyes out as I read the latest article Reuven sent out today: The Cost of Vision. It was about the Jew & the Gentile in the late 1800’s that worked together to “to create the Jewish state.” They worked together and broke the spiritual ground that would be realized by others in the future even though they did not see any physical change before their deaths. They died thinking they had failed, but that was far from the truth. This is the cost of this vision we carry from God – to give our all whether we see and live in the success of it or not. Please read this and be stirred by the Spirit.

SilverDavidJosie2021a (111 x 85).jpgOut of Zion, David & Josie Silver sent out an excellent guest column by Australian writer Harriet Cuming who point out an exceptional speech in less than 2 minutes by British former MK Sir Jacob William Rees-Mogg. In his speech Rees challenges the platitudes about protecting our spiritual “elder brother” saying we must take real action. Harriet Cuming’s article challenges the same ground excellently. Christians all over the world are speaking out about rising anti-Semitism. Are you? | Read more here

FieldsofWheatEitanJoelRuby (164 x 100).jpgRuby writing for Fields of Wheat on a tragic incident about a deadly teenage attack on a 21-year old young man, so struck a chord with me, that I posted it on Facebook so everyone can read it. The issue of a generation of young people adrift without moral anchors is a horrific problem the USA shares with Israel. Ruby’s heart of compassion in asking, Can We Prevent Tragedies like this in the Future? And his prayer points are to be taken to heart by God’s people. Let us pray for Israeli teens asking God to bring the same healing solution to American teens. You know the answer – it is a deep encounter with the Messiah Yeshua, Jesus.

MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpgAvi and Chaya Mizrachi of Dugit Outreach write of the recent annual Women’s gathering theme that “God meets us in our brokenness and transforms it into something beautiful….He is the Creator and the Restorer — the One who does not overlook pain, but redeems it….“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you” (Ezekiel 36:26). Today, we want to remind you, dearest friends — you are seen, you are known, and you are deeply loved by God. Bring Him your burdens, your weariness, your hidden places….May He turn every place of ashes in your life into beauty.

Watch Avi’s powerful testimony of how one unexpected visit to his sister in America became the beginning of a personal encounter with God’s love, grace, and salvation.

    SantoroJackie2021 (89 x 85).jpg
Impassioned words from Zion’s Glory, Jackie Santoro at the Jerusalem Ahavat Yeshua congregation: “Since God gave us the Land back, the new version of anti Semitism is anti Zionism which has been front and center. Once again, the forces of evil are rising up to destroy this nation which God said is His. The people God called His “chosen” do not feel welcome on the streets of most countries. In spite of the intense spiritual warfare that attacks us because Israel exists, this Land is truly God’s gift to His people- a special and precious gift, given in love by God to the people he cherishes. A place where the Jewish people are able to flourish in the gifts and calling of God and truly be a light to the nations. A refuge against the hatred and a place where we can now defend ourselves against the satanic onslaught meant to destroy us and stop the return of Yeshua as King to this land of his birth, death and resurrection.

“As believers, we have been called to take our stand and to fight the good fight of faith. Our congregation is flourishing and growing. We persevere in hope through all the wars and encourage one another daily. We do not take meeting together for granted since we know what it is to suddenly be told by the Home Front Command that we can’t meet because it is too dangerous. God is doing a deep work in our midst, knitting us together with bonds that cannot be broken. We are strong, full of faith and pressing forward to all that God has for us in the days to come. And we are raising up the next generation and the one after that to take the mantle and to be bold, strong and courageous and to love the Lord with a passionate love. Next month, we are celebrating our 20 year anniversary since the congregation met for the first time! How Eddie (Jackie’s husband, now with the Lord) would glow with pride to see all that we have become with his legacy of love firmly planted in our foundation.

Israelis are open and just recently, I was able to witness to 4 different people with deep discussions based on all that we were going through as a nation. And each one saw and felt God’s hand on His people and I felt their hearts were soft. God is in the DNA of this nation and the openness is increasing.

He will yet cause good to come from all the suffering we have endured. He will yet redeem every tear, every drop of innocent blood shed, every battle that was fought in good faith for righteousness sake and the destruction of evil. God loves us and He is rising up to defeat His enemies! I thank you deeply for your untiring support and love for this nation.

BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpgHoward Bass writing from Nachalat Yeshua, Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva: “Jesus spoke of the difficult way and the narrow gate that leads to life versus the broad way and wide gate that leads to destruction. The Hebrew word for “narrow” is tzar/ צר. This word, in the feminine, is the same word for “tribulation, trouble,” an experience that all people will know in the world. But with God, it serves a redemptive purpose for learning obedience, even, and especially, being His children: to partake of His holiness. These last 2 1/2 years of war are being used of God towards both His righteous judgments upon the nations for their hatred and hypocrisy towards His chosen people Israel; and also towards bringing Israel and the Jewish people to acknowledge their sin and rebellion against Him; and for testing and challenging the Gentile believers to show mercy to the Jewish people and nation, and to provoke them to jealousy for their own God and Savior. The triune God YHVH is holy, holy, holy; and clearly, the Bride is not yet ready. Just look at ourselves, and within our churches. We need that purifying baptism of fire for that which is of Christ/Messiah in us; and for destroying everything else that is not worthy of Him.

The Holy Spirit is at work getting us ready to bear and to overcome increasingly serious, even painful, labor pains as the expected birth is THERE! Our faith and trust in our Lord and Savior will save us through the ordeal, but we need to endure it for the desired outcome. The gold and the silver and the precious stones must go into the fiery furnace to come out with the level of purity required for its purpose. Yeshua will be there with us through it, but we need to overcome our fears of going through such a way for final purification. Our love and complete trust in Him will be our victory, just as was His on the cross

….This evening — even as I write — we are conducting an evangelism “course” with Jews for Jesus for the young adults, ages 18-35. They will learn why evangelism is important, and receive some “tools” to help them share the gospel with those around them. Interestingly, Yad LeAchim, an aggressive anti-missionary group, heard about this, and thought that we were going out on the streets and inviting unsuspecting Jews to “come on in” in order to be proselytized to “change their religion”. At first group of believers had received permission for a small building at a city park. When word came to Yad LeAchim (A Hand to the Brothers), they made the city refuse to receive us on “city” property. So, it is being done on the property of the congregation. We are in a spiritual battle, not one of flesh and blood, even though we may suffer in our flesh unto blood at some point. PLEASE DO PRAY FOR A BREAKTHROUGH IN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO HEAR AND LISTEN TO THE TRUTH OF THE MESSIAH BEING YESHUA/JESUS. Our love and support for the Jewish people and Israel must include humbly but confidently calling them to repentance and faith in the gospel.

KleinArniYonit2017 (162 x 85).jpgArni & Yonit Klein send this enlightening Emmaus Way catch-up letter after a ministry time in Africa had to be extended due to the Iranian war. Arni sees great insight into current spiritual realities: “The need to prepare the way is not a new revelation. Yet it in all our crying out, somehow relating to this aspect of the process seems to have fallen by the wayside. Perhaps a fullness of time was yet to come. In that regard, if our personal lives, calling, and ministry were a measure of anything, it would be that a fullness of time has arrived. Since our calling to Israel in 1989 and our immigration in 1992, we have been specifically led by confirmed words from God. And now at 80 years old, sensing that this moment is what we were created and prepared for, and being sent into such a prepared field, we believe it all testifies about something bigger than us…that the fullness of time to prepare the way is upon us. . . .

“Once again, with the specter of war and possible airport closure looming on the horizon, we are preparing to travel to Uganda on Friday May 15th for another month of ministry. We are scheduled to have two full seminars and a third gathering to complete a series we began last trip…which is only a month behind us. It’s hard to fathom all the doors that have opened, the number of personal connections we have made, and the scope of future plans formulated during our whirlwind two-month visit there. In contrast to our usual way of doing things, it’s rather quick to be engaged and committed to the depth we find ourselves. Our challenge, with all the open doors and possibilities before us, is to have the wisdom not to build or expand the house beyond the degree to which the foundation has been tested and proved. Time is relative. We trust and pray that God will orchestrate everything. . . .

We left Uganda with a sense of fullness and thankfulness for all that was accomplished and that laid open before us. Within even our first day home we found ourselves under a weight of exhaustion and depression. It actually took a few days for us to recognize what we were thinking and feeling. We unpacked our state with a close friend that travels quite a lot. We noted that our totally positive inner sense went dark in a moment for essentially no earthly reason. It dawned on us that we were experiencing the spiritual oppression that sits over the Land 24/7. . . . we had never before experienced the contrast so clearly beyond any shadow of doubt. It’s amazing, as the lead point in our message to our African brethren is a call for spiritual help to counter the extreme demonic oppression that sits over the Land. Realizing it exisits doesn’t make it disappear; however, it does keep one from going into a place of condemnation. The common initial reaction is that the depression is due to something wrong with us personally. All in all, we are very thankful to now be able to issue the call for help from even a more personal position. Please pray with us for the African brethren that God has raised up to work with us there.” To read the full inspiring, report write to subscribe.”

    BenderRonit2026 (84 x 100).jpg
A fashion model in her Israeli youth, now a widowed believer in northern Israel , Ronit Bender is a model for Israeli personal evangelism. She is the message of Yeshua’s love for people who cross her path in living daily to serve the Lord. Her monthly emails speak of the people she meets and how God leads her in connecting with them. Ronit is a people magnet – people of all walks of life, Jew, Arab or anyone living in the Land of Israel. Her stories and walking with many she is asking prayers for are numerous, and inspiring to anyone who wants to know how to go beyond just living daily life to making daily life an ambassador of Heaven experience.

This month Ronit shared about an Arab salon owner she has become very close to over the years and in whose shop she has broken kingdom ground in the hearts of many. Ronit writes about how (in her ministry to others in the woman’s salon, the woman has responded by returning care and kindness back to Ronit: “….one day she asked me if I would like help with my food shopping on a Mondays, her only day off. I was delighted. That day a deeper relationship was formed that is not easy to explain. I was rather amazed that someone who is not a believer in Yeshua [yet], can be so loving, without motives or self serving. I guess she became the daughter I never had, making sure I have food in my fridge, go to the health club/gym so I will be fit and she goes with me to doctor appointments….I am no longer by myself for evenings when families would be together. She has filled a big hole in my heart that was left since Tom departed 12 years ago.” This is the power of the love of Yeshua, freely given and freely received. Please pray for “L” to complete the circle of her journey toward receiving the Savior very soon, and for continued blessings and healing for Ronit (see prayer for healing section below).

    SperandeoTonyOrna (104 x 85).jpg
In central Israel, Tony and Orna Sperandeo lead a loving congregational family in Kfar Saba, HaMaayan. They post their prayer and ministry letters on a blog, you can read it here and see the pictures taken at various events. One of the prayer requests I would like to share here is “Due to the economic stress caused by the war, we are praying for practical support for our most needy members in Israel as well as our believing partners….While these past 2 months were very difficult in Israel, our trust, confidence and hope are in the Lord. He gave us the peace that surpassed all understanding.”

MazinLeonNina2021a (92 x 85).jpgLeon Mazin of Return to Zion in Haifa writes, When a Young Heart begins to Ask, “What About Me?” “Over the weekend, some of our young people joined a youth conference getaway together with Netivyah, built around the theme: “What about me?” It was not a light question, and it was not treated lightly. The weekend opened space for honest, searching, and sometimes difficult questions about identity, calling, responsibility, and each young person’s place in the Body of Messiah and in the Kingdom of God.” Read in full here.

CohenMoti2025 (61 x 80).jpgMoti Cohen leads the team at Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv. Watch this personal video message. Also: “Over the last couple of months, we have been facing a difficult challenge: the dollar has fallen below three shekels for the first time in 30 years, meaning that we have lost 20% in value on our dollar-based support. As a result, we find ourselves facing a budget crisis. As always, we rely on the support of our friends in the nations to help us keep this congregation in downtown Tel Aviv open. This is the case now more than ever! In this moment of financial challenge, we ask that you prayerfully consider making a special donation to help us overcome this shortfall.” | And a Testimony of Supernatural revelations of Yeshua among Muslims, particularly in Iran.

HydeCarolynRichard 2026 (99 x 80).jpg Speaking of TREE, Ariel and his brother Avi at Tree of Life, are proof that the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. In this case the tree are their parents, Carolyn and Richard Hyde of Heart for G-d Ministries who I met in Texas before they moved to Israel (in what seems like decades ago!). Carolyn is a well-known Messianic worship musician and with that background currently is leading Prophetic Artists Journeys (PAJ) in Israel –watch her speak of it this video. “Thank you for keeping watch with us from May 25-27 during the next PAJ. As the lgbtq+ community of Israel tries to call forth the days of Sodom at the Dead Sea, we will pray as we’ve been shown for multitudes in the valley of decision to choose wisely! Also a group of us locals plan to repent and pray there soon. Contact them at mailto:hydefamilyisrael@gmail.com

YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpgRevive Israel led by Youval Yanay on the Messianic Moshav at Yad Hashmona write about the tragic car accident that shook their community when a 9 year old boy lost his life in their streets. The community mourned as the child Itai who was so full of life and “whose presence was so deeply part of daily life here in the village.” The young discipleship students, housed very close to where the accident happened, “saw everything, and it shook them deeply. Almost immediately that gathered together and began praying for Itai and for his family. In the middle of the shock and sorrow, there was also the quiet comfort of knowing that Itai walked with Yeshua.” Pray for those who mourn the loss, and for those who need to find the Door to eternity as Itai had before leaving this life.

In the days since then, a group of 12 to 14 year olds visited the moshav from the Makor HaTikvah, Messianic Jewish middle school in Jerusalem. The current discipleship students spent the day with them guided them through different activities and showing beautiful leadership in the process. It was something “healthy and beautiful” taking root. In the coming week they are heading to Tel Aviv to serve on the streets, preparing and distributing food to the poor and those in need. “Every person we meet carries a story, often marked by loneliness, hardship, or brokenness. We continue praying that through these encounters, people would not only receive practical help but also experience the love and nearness of God.

    GuettaJenniferEliahu2023 (107 x 80).jpg

Jennifer and Eliahu Guetta of Plant Hope Israel, Jennifer got the greatest gift on Mother’s Day – and answer to 14 years of prayer for daughter, Limor’s salvation.

Jennifer writes, “She came to know Jesus miraculously this year, was baptized, and is following Him….she just sent me a picture of herself in an evangelical, Holy Spirit-filled church learning about Israel! Pfff, what a gift from the Lord on Mother’s Day!”

“For years, Jennifer Guetta supervised excavations at Megiddo (Armageddon), digging for evidence of the Bible. But her greatest discovery…came through a miraculous encounter with Jesus Christ through dreams that rescued her from the darkness of the New Age….Jennifer’s journey from the trenches of archaeology to the glory of God is a wake-up call for the modern world….To partner with Jennifer’s upcoming U.S. Speaking Tour (June 25 – August 26….We need to raise $9,000 to cover travel and ministry costs for events in California, Florida, Texas, Arizona, and beyond. Will you help us bring this message of hope to America?”

    BoskeyRachelAvner (124 x 80).jpg

Avner Boskey, Final Frontier Ministries, writes Standing in a Divided Nation with an Undivided Heart. DD: This is about America and is a serious wakeup call for American Christians who support Israel: “An April 7, 2026 survey published by Pew Research Center reveals that 60% of US adults have an unfavorable view of Israel, up from 53% last year.” Read online

MagenJoseph2024cropped (66 x 85).jpgJoseph Magan, the founding visionary of KehilaNews is on top of the trend of how younger generation believers access news – including ministry news. Unlike those of us who actually still read, most of the younger are viewing everything the consume online. That’s why it is so important what Josepth has pioneered in aggregating the ministry videos from Israeli ministries each week. If that is the news you want – and I highly recommend that you get your Israel news in LARGE majority from Israeli ministries (whether print or video) because so few hold the same level of truly understanding what is going on regarding Israel. This week, Joseph is featured on HAPPY JERUSALEM DAY, The Longest Wait in Jewish History Ended on this Day which commemorates the reunification of Jerusalem following the Six-Day War in 1967. It is observed on the 28th of the Hebrew month of Iyar. This year, it begins on the evening of May 14 and runs through the evening of May 15. + 18 other videos released in the last week. The Root Bears You and There is no Dual Covenant

    Root bears you 2 (164 x 200).jpgThe Ingrafting of the Gentiles — Romans 11
“and you (Gentiles), a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in
among the others (the Jewish believers) to share
in the nourishment of the olive root (the Jewish Messiah),
do not boast over those branches (the Jewish branches).
If you do, remember this: You do not support the root (planted first in the Jewish people), but the root (Jewish Messiah) supports you.”
Sounds like a pretty pointed message to me: We did not replace Israel, we were grafted in so we could share in their spiritual nourishment which is from Israel’s Messiah. No boasting against the Jews is allowed.

Prayer Requests & Chronicles of What is Happening Among the Remnant of Faith in Israel

SayagDaniLuAnne2025crop (105 x 75).jpg From the Carmel Congregation, led by Dani & LuAnne Sayag, elder Andrey Teplinsky delivers a greatly encouraging word in this hour of war(s) surrounding Israel and extremely troubling chaos in the nations. It came at the 78th anniversary of Israel straight out of the book of Ezekiel (36:23-24) where God says,
I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God, “when I show Myself holy among you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations, and gather you from all the lands; and I will bring you into your own land.”
Andrey concludes his message saying, “Having lived in Israel for the past 28 years, I can confidently say this: the return of the Jewish people to their land is a miraculous work of God in our generation. In this critical hour, as we bring the gospel of the Kingdom to our people, it is vital that Israel has true friends among the nations—those who will stand with her, pray for her, and walk alongside her.”

MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (116 x 75).jpg I could not help noticing in The Faithful Galilean emailings that there seemed to be a prophetic edge to the titles of each day of Chaim Malespin’s mailings during the “Counting of the Omer” from Passover to Pentecost. An “omer” is a biblical unit of measurement for grain. After Passover, when Yeshua fulfilled the prophetic sacrificial Lamb, He was resurrected as “First Fruits” and the period of counting commenced toward the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Not only do the seven weeks of sabbaths mark the outpouring of the Holy Spirit written of in Acts, it also serves a dual prophetic purpose. The seven weeks represent the time period between Jewish salvation in the first century (Acts), and the final harvest of spiritual salvation among the Jews (Revelation). Firstfruits at the beginning harvest season and the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost/Shavuot at the end or final harvest season. Every Christian should know of the meaning of these feasts, so we will also know the part we Christians are to play in the fast approaching final harvest.
Each day of this period of counting in 2026, Chaim has been daily sending emails with video speaking of raising an altar to the Lord of 120 spiritual leaders from 120 nations to pray for the salvation of Israel. What he shares is a little piece of understanding the prophetic nature of it all based on verses throughout the Bible. You can watch ALL of the videos on their YouTube channel here as Chaim spells it out and can also see it here on The Faithful Galileans website. There is anointing on each of his title choices every day of this series. “In what place you hear the trumpet, rally there.” Nehemiah 4:20.

FieldsofWheatEitanJoelRuby (164 x 100).jpg On 4/17 Joel Jelski of Fields of Wheat in northern Israel wrote, “It’s been six weeks since our kids were able to attend school!” Two days ago, 4/27, again Israel announced school and bus closures due to escalating tensions from Hezbollah rocket fire into northern Israel. This means “the obvious ‘inconveniences’ of being under missile and rocket attack,” as Joel put it, still applies. No school for children means limited mobility of parents who still need to work. What is the answer? It was in Joel’s title: “Coping with War, Counting on God.”
Writing about the new situations that have opened up because of the Iran wan, Joel notes that to the dismay of Hezbollah, the Lebanon government is now negotiating directly with Israel. Joel writes, “Could there be a chance that we may finally see peace at some point in the future between Lebanon and Israel? I would love to see that happen. Eitan wrote a book (What About Us? The End-time Calling of Gentiles in Israel’s Revival) based on the relationship of King Hiram with Israel’s kings, David and Solomon. Hiram ruled over the region which today is Lebanon. In an alliance of covenant friendship, Hiram and Solomon built the original Temple in Jerusalem. The workers from both nations collaborated in total peace. Could we see those realities restored? Could Lebanon once again play a role in the spiritual restoration of Israel?” This is what it is all about, dear readers!

MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpgAvi & Chaya Mizrachi report that during the ceasefire, with relaxed Home Front Command regulations, the women of Messianic Israel jumped on the opportunity to come from all parts of Israel to the annual Bat Zion Women’s Conference at long last! Dugit hosts this every year but it has been quite “ify” with the war situation – still hundreds of women came to spend meaningful time with each other during this time national hardship. The Mizrachi’s write, “We serve a mighty and creative God, whose timing is perfect, and who makes all things beautiful in His time….Thank you for standing with us and praying for us, dear Dugit partners – we truly could not have done this without your support.”
In another post, they write briefly about making their way to the ministry bomb shelter and being joined by someone seeking shelter. As Avi was praying for their safety, the young man said he believed in God, but not in a religious way. It led to “an open, honest conversation” and the man said he has an army service friend who is a believer in Yeshua. Pray this young man will be drawn even closer to the Lord.

DoronReuvenMaryLou2025cropped (111 x 85).jpgReuven Doron, One New Man Today, does a fascinating piece on how Samson was the last judge in the period of Israel when there was no king and “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” (Judges 21). This is a powerful parallel to the state of the USA currently. Reuven writes, “It wasn’t until Samuel was born and dedicated to the Lord by his godly and grieving mother that things changed. In fact, most folks miss the profound placement of Samuel in the story God produced throughout Israel’s history…. Samuel served as the LAST leader who JUDGED Israel, and was the FIRST (formal) PROPHET who established the KINGDOM when he anointed Saul and launched the line of Israel’s monarchy. . . . Samson, however, was the last formal Judge in the Book of Judges, and is a picture of President Trump. Both were called by God from their mothers’ womb. Both were familiar with the God of the Bible, yet the main trajectories of their lives were guided by their powerful and carnal personalities. And both have had their character flaws used to accomplish God’s purposes when it was time to smite His enemies.” Personally, I believe Reuven nails this 100%.
“….As the political circus of “talks” between the USA and Iran goes on, President Trump’s Middle East policies (including both the closure of the Straits of Hormuz and enforcing a new 50% tariff upon every nation who buys from Iran) are in fact setting a death trap for China. At the same time, Trump is creating an American global energy monopoly that will generate unbelievable profits for the American energy industry. Pray for the man. Pray for his mission. Pray for God’s purposes to unfold. Time is shorter than you may think.”

Howard Bass of Nachalat Yeshua (Yeshua’s Inheritance) gives a great report of baptisms in their congregation – two young boys of single digit age. They and their parents asked for baptism for months. It had been put off for months. You must understand Israel’s “Missionary Laws” forbid proselytizing to minors under the age of 18 without parental consent, and it is not legal to conduct any ceremony for a minor to change their religion without the writen consent of both parents. They had this, so NOTHING illegal was done – but it is understandably ground that ALL the Israeli congregations are cautious with.
As Howard wrote, “When Yeshua said to let the little children come to me, and do not prevent them, I don’t think He meant to bring them to the Source of Living Water, but don’t let them drink it. The parents say the boys are believers; I spoke with them personally, and the boys are clearer about their faith and love for Jesus more than some adults express. Yes, we must become as little children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven/God!”

A woman who has been a believer for 10 years whose former church in Ukraine did not baptize, also came forward make the public step. And on that Shabbat morning, yet another woman “spoke with me that morning in my office and asked if she could get baptized. She told me about herself, and I said, “What about today?” She broke out in a BIG smile, not knowing that we were already planning one. She even had a change of clothes in her car! After our service, a mother asked me about some of her older children, who were asking.  I haven’t spoken with them, though.  In any case, it’s great to see that the Holy Spirit is moving among and within!” Baptism is a major step in Israel (a good discussion for another time). MagenJoseph2024cropped (66 x 85).jpg If you haven’t made the connection, Howard and Randi Bass have a strong connection to Kehila News Video (articles and blogs under constructioion) which is the ministry of their son-in-law Joseph Magen. This is a long standing go-to website for me that has been restructured over the past years and now is the dominant source of videos by, about or for the Israeli Messianic Jewish congregations (kehila) and ministries. You run into all sorts of junk about Israel on YouTube, but the videos on this source are curated by Israeli Messianics and give a real on the ground perspective from a great diversity of Messianic viewpoints. In fact, if you frequent AllIsraelNews, Joseph Magen was the visionary founder of that platform, which he recently departed from. I have 100% respect and appreciation for the great contribution that Magen has been making for the body of Messiah in Israel. I first discovered his KehilaNews site at the beginning of 2016. There are a great many difficulties and challenges in including Messianic ministries by ANY who cover Israel in news or advocacy. We who do are on the same path of great resistance from all sides – even friendly fire at times. But what Joseph & Rotem Magen do is “unto the Lord” and that is something I am confident God will regard and reward.

We are grateful to see growth not only in their musical abilities, but also in their confidence and sense of belonging. Empower their future.

GuettaJenniferEliahu2023 (107 x 80).jpgPlant Hope Israel’s Jennifer Guetta writes, “Once again, times are very tense here. The uncertainty of not knowing whether there will be another war soon or whether there will be a false peace is very difficult to live with. Not everything was said, but something had happened.” Watch here as the students enjoy the hospitality of a muslim Bedouin woman whose camp always welcomes Revive Israel’s discipleship students warmly. “This time, the students themselves stepped forward. One by one, they prayed for her and blessed her. It wasn’t planned, it just came from them.”

Shiffsally2019 (81 x 85).jpgSally Shiff, intercessor and English-speaking liaison at the HaMaayan congregation in Kfar Saba, writes, “We do rejoice that the face of the Middle East has drastically changed, and soon, hopefully very soon peace will come. My prayer is that real peace, the peace of God and His Righteousness will come. A few days ago, God started me on the book of Nehemiah. A small yet important book talking about the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem and the Jews returning from exile in Babylon. I believe it is prophetic regarding today and our current situation. (I will speak more about it when I come to the states in June).

“Personally, my life has been busy with preparation of what Yeshua has in store. This summer, I am expecting two new families to arrive to the guest house in process of them making Aliyah. I suspect more to come as antisemitism is rising at alarming rates all over the world. Israel is the safest place in the world for all the Jews, as this is God’s promised land for us, and His promises are forever.”

CohenMoti2025 (61 x 80).jpgMoti Cohen who is the senior pastor at Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv, has also spent the last three years doing IDF Reserves duty. “During this war Israel suffered many rocket launches from Iran and Lebanon on daily basis. They mainly targeted the big cities which are densely populated and strategic infrastructures. Most of the rockets thankfully were intercepted, due to a multi layered defense systems which God has in his grace given the wisdom and ideas, and enabled us to develop and produce them over many years, as preparation for such a scenario as this. If we did not have those systems the damage would be devastating. Thankfully 90% of the rockets are being intercepted, but even if one manages to escape and hit directly, it is causing huge damage to a whole neighborhood. In one such case 18 people died in the city Beit-Shemesh when a rocket hit. But even with the high percentage of interceptions, there are huge Interception fragments that are falling all over large areas and also causing much damage, mainly to property. . . .

The very low numbers of casualties in person is first and foremost the amazing grace and protection of God, as the number of casualties in person is very low compared to the many ballistic missiles and missiles with multiple warheads shot directly at civilian population. . . .Israelis are trained to run to shelter when alarms go on and most of the people do so. Every house that is built new, must also build a bomb shelter, and in shopping centers and many public places there are some kind of protected rooms. The majority of the casualties are when people either did not go or could not reach a shelter on time.

Just before the war, we finished a renovation at the fellowship building, after 26 years in this place. It was done with the generous help of professionals from Germany and some volunteers from our side. We are very thankful for the time and effort you friends invested in that project. It also served to improve the electrical and sound systems, as well as installing new requirements given by the fire department.
Now there is a cease fire that was declared for two weeks. Many are skeptical as to how long will it hold, but let us pray that God’s perfect will would be done, above all. Please pray also God’s peace on every heart that has been affected by the continued alarms, sleepless nights after being awakened by the alarms, sounds of explosions, especially children. Continue also to pray for the salvation of our nation, and for the Iranian people, that many would be released from the evil grip of dead and evil religion unto salvation. Pray also for God’s protection on our soldiers who are right now operating in Lebanon, on the Syrian border, in Judea and Samaria in hostile villages, to prevent terror attacks that are being continually planned.

JUST A REMINDER There were 29 documented Jewish believers in Israel in 1948. Five took offers from the new government to be relocated in other countries with visas. 25 refused the offer. Today there are estimates of 18-20,000 Israeli Messianic Jews. In 1948 there were no Messianic Congregations in Israel but today there are well over 100 Messianic Congregations and House Fellowships in Israel. Increase is continuing to multiply as Yeshua’s Living Temple of Living Stones is built in Israel according to the promises.

Week by week, as students come to learn and practice, something deeper is taking place beyond the notes and rhythms. We are grateful to see growth not only in their musical abilities, but also in their confidence and sense of belonging. Empower their future.

YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpgRevive Israel which is led by Youval Yanay sent a good report of the 2nd week of their latest group going through the Discipleship Program which they spent out in the desert. While studying in Romans, the young people were sent out each to spend time alone with God – no phones, no conversations. “When they came back, you could see it.

It is God’s grace on his life because as I have followed all that Moti has been doing in these past 3 years especially, it is a marvel of God’s grace on him without a doubt. Read online from Moti’s own recounting of his service during the wars and including be present with family milestones and congregational leading. Next week I’m hoping for the link to his latest report of ministering to the addicts on the street during times when missiles have been dropping and no bomb shelters they could take refuge in. YahavDanielShirya14.jpgDaniel and Shirya Yahav in Tiberias lead the Peniel Fellowship – don’t let the word fellowship fool you, it is one of the largest congregations in Israel.

Arrows from Zion Summary Prayer Requests & Chronicles of What is Happening Among the Remnant of Faith in Israel

OneNewManToday Reuven Doron sends this good word: “Wars and rumors of wars will keep popping up and Israel shall remain central to a rising global flood of irritation and anger. The intercessors must get used to it and learn to keep serving the Lord by the leading of His Spirit in spite of it. We love peace and pray for it while being fully aware that there will be no lasting peace on earth UNTIL the Prince of Peace rules the planet from His throne in Jerusalem. In fact, we would prefer to remain in this demanding and sorrowful state of perpetual conflict with our biblical enemies, serving the Lord under fire, since we believe that the coming peace will be the last one before things turn dark.”

KleinArniYonit2017 (162 x 85).jpgArni & Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way send: “Greetings from Uganda. As it is for many at this time, life has become rather unpredictable. Our original return flight for March 22nd was cancelled due to the security situation. Our rebooking for April 6th was also cancelled…. Our airline is presently accepting reservations beginning mid-month….Since we are scheduled to be here again by May 15th for a retreat beginning on the 18th, so we are waiting to see if it will work out to be reasonable for a trip home between now and then. If not, our projected one-month trip will end up being four. As you might imagine, this has been a rather unique stretching exercise in surrendering our plans and expectations to God’s sovereignty. Thankfully our living situation is quite comfortable, and we are well taken care of. The unexpected days here have provided opportunity for private meetings with individuals and groups with questions and a desire to go deeper into the heart of the message we’ve been given to impart….“a believing Major General in the Ugandan army participated in the last retreat…the senior commander for a number of national military departments…. He only returned to Uganda on the second day and came straight from the airport. On the way the Holy Spirit told him he was going for advanced studies. What an amazing word for the Lord to have spoken! We had much opportunity to interact personally, and he expressed the desire to spend some time visiting personally. He is deeply spiritual with a perspective and understanding of roots and foundations…as one would expect from a person of such position and responsibility. He shared of a time when they were in the midst of a military conflict in which the Ugandan forces were unable to get the upper hand. The Lord told him that the church needed to be brought in, as the battle involved spiritual forces. They identified three demonic altars from which this insurgent force was receiving its strength. When the believers engaged to tear the altars down, the elusive enemy disappeared overnight. Concerning Israel, the Lord told Him that Israel worshipped their technology and needed the Presence of the Lord. So there he was at a series of meetings concerning what the church can do to effect that end. Praise the Lord. . . .There was much more. Email

Sally Shiff, Intercessor & English-speaking Liaison for Kehilat HaMaayan wrote on 4/8: “. . . .this could be the last update for 2 weeks. Israel is still going after Lebanon as Hezbollah is still going after the north. But if there is any indication that the people of Israel are able to breathe without the immediate threat of a red alert (even the 2 we had today after the ceasefire) was shown as my friend and I went to an outdoor mall. It is the final day of Passover, a holiday where there is no work. The mall was packed, I mean PACKED with thousands of people shopping, eating and finally enjoying life without fear. Joy, relief, and plenty of conversation filled the air. . . .These past 40 days were the most exhausting for me since the first days of the Gaza war. . . .For the next 2 weeks….I choose to keep my nose in the Bible, and my fight within prayer….the greater fight is in the spirit, and affects the natural….I believe the beginning of the fight started with the revival that happened in Iran a few years ago. And significantly the ceasefire happened during Passover: LET MY PEOPLE GO! (btw, for you historians, it is the 70th anniversary of the movie “The Ten Commandments”). I am cautiously optimistic. I have learned over the years that the enemy breaks ceasefires. This time, we, the US and the gulf states stand ready to return at a moment’s notice. Intercessors, be at the same guard. Continue to pray for God’s perfect will.”

    YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpg
The Revive Israel team led by Youval Yanay write, “This past week felt like a turning point. Passover came to an end, and a temporary ceasefire was declared. It was an unusual moment. On one hand, there was a sense of quiet. On the other, we don’t really know what it means yet or how long it will last. So we stay anchored in the Lord….Right now, we are getting ready to begin the discipleship program. There are quite a few participants coming, along with volunteers and our team, and we’re about to step into these forty days together. What stands out most is the hunger. These young Israelis are coming with a real desire for the Word of God, and a willingness to step away from everything for a time to draw closer to Yeshua. We feel the responsibility of that.”

ShishkoffEitan2025 (74 x 100).jpgEitan Shishkoff founder of Fields of Wheat (and Tents of Mercy congregation) relates the paradigm shift he experienced after be saved in the 70’s Jesus movement to understanding God’s intention that he was to preserve his Jewish identity within the faith in Jesus: “In the spring of ‘75, my daily reading took me to the New Testament account of the Last Supper. I read…Matthew 26:26-27. The instant I finished those verses my eyes were opened. Suddenly I understood that the Lord established what we call “communion” or “Messiah’s Supper” during the biblical Passover meal. That meant that He and the disciples were Jewish (Duh, Eitan!). And here’s a very personal part…it meant that being born of a Jewish mother was part of my calling as a believer in Jesus.

The implications were like the ever larger ripples created by the proverbial stone thrown into a pond. Connie and I began celebrating Passover with our children, The first step was to link our lives to the annual cycle of biblical holidays — all of which point to and are fulfilled in Yeshua. The next step was to hear God calling us to move to Israel and serve Him here.

When I discovered that the Last Supper was the Passover meal it changed my life, restoring my Jewish heritage and bringing me to Israel in 1992. These 33 years of serving Yeshua in His homeland are the direct result of that surprise.

BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpgHoward Bass of the Beer Sheva Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation had much to report after they were allowed to gather after 6 weeks in live services, but this is the thing that leapt out at me to share with intercessors: “I did another video, under 40 min, this one called “Until…“. The living God has communicated to us to share with us what He is about. This is what He said about Abraham when He was going to judge Sodom and Gomorrah; and what Yeshua said to His disciples as He was opening His heart to them. The Lord wants us to be understanding and expectant, strengthening us with His Spirit for when the final sustained thrust is called for to the glory of His Name. (Gen 18:16-19; Jn 15:1-17)

MazinLeonNina (102 x 85).jpgBenderRonit2025 (72 x 100).jpgRonit Bender, a lady from the Carmel congregation who practices personal evangelism in her daily life writes, “I do not think I have ever clung to the Lord as closely as I do now. I am not afraid to die, as many of you would feel too, as we know what our final destination is.“To live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Phil. 1:21). But what about those that do not believe? I am surrounded by pre- believers, and I believe this is God’s plan for my life right now. Reaching out to the weary and fearful, planting hope and the Love of God. . . .The other day at (her friend’s) salon, a woman walked in whom I had met 20 years ago when Tom and I had just returned to Israel. She was so surprised to see the joy on my face while all around is fear and sadness. Somewhere in the passing years, she had a stroke and almost lost her life. I shared my testimony with her, and could see she was visibly touched. I do not believe in pushing people as far as faith is concerned, I could see the seed was planted and now, it is between them and God for faith to flourish. I pray for more opportunities to reach this woman and others the Lord brings, to see them coming into the Kingdom of God.” [If you don’t know, Ronit is a woman in her mid-70’s who is suffering from both a serious heart condition and also knee – operations are out of the question for both. She suffers a considerable amount of pain 24/7 – trusting God through it all. Prayers for Ronit please.]

Return to Zion is the Haifa congregation led by Leon Mazin. His team write: “Thursday, April 9, 2026 — 22 Nisan 5786 here in Israel. Passover has just concluded in Israel, and we are now continuing into the 7th day of the Omer. In this transition from the feast into the days that follow, we are sharing a new letter from Pastor Leon—written out of these recent Passover days here in Haifa. In this letter, Leon reflects on the strain of living under sirens and missile fire, while also giving thanks for the children and teenagers who found refuge, safety, and joy together in the congregation during the holiday. It is a personal and sobering word, but also one marked by gratitude for God’s protection and care in the middle of a difficult time. We believe it will help you pray for us with greater understanding. READ: Passover Under Fire, Hope in the Shelter

    MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpg
From Avi & Chaya Mizrachi of Dugit Ministries they write, “”Here in Israel, resilience is part of our daily life. Not wars, and not missiles, will stop us (though traffic might…lol). Through it all, we stand firm in faith, knowing the Lord is beside us, and our spirits will not be crushed. They ask prayers of protection over families and communities across the country and for strength and endurance for those facing challenges each day.” | The Mizrachi’s also founded the Adonai Roi congregation in Tel Aviv where daughter and son-in-law Nate and Sarah Silverman now lead. The Mizrachi’s have many beloved grandchildren, including the latest, a third child, born to daughter Devora and Dror Boaz. The boy, who was named Aviv Harel Boaz, his parents say was named “Aviv which means ‘spring’ or ‘springtime,’ symbolizing renewal, blossoming, growth, and hope. These are our prayers not only for him, but for all the people of Israel in these days. His middle name Harel means “Har” (mountain) and “El” (God) — “the mountain of God”.

CohenGuyTali2022.jpgGuy Cohen who leads Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco writes, “Last week I visited the home of a member of the Harvest of Asher congregation, whose house was damaged by a missile that struck nearby. I was in shock by the extent of damage to his apartment and the surrounding area, including cars and other buildings. I was also shaken by the realization of how only by the grace of God had he survived; as I witnessed firsthand the reality of the situation.

Many families, including our neighbors up the road, whose homes and property were damaged, are now facing not only the devastation itself, but also the immediate need to provide for basic necessities such as temporary housing, medical care, food, and transportation. While the government institutions do provide compensation, the process takes time, and in the critical first days and even weeks families are left to carry the burden on their own.

From this place, we, the elders of the Harvest of Asher congregation, through our non-profit organization, are stepping forward in a new initiative, out of a deep commitment to support families who have been affected during this time.

We are launching a project to support families from the Western Galilee, both Jewish and Arab, who have been affected by the war. Our goal is to provide families with initial support of approximately 5,000 NIS (equivalent of $1,667.83 USD), offering them breathing space and relief during this difficult time. This is a small act, yet one that can make a meaningful difference.

We invite you to join us to help reach as many families as possible who are in urgent need, and those who may face these challenges in the coming days. We want to emphasize that no gift is too small. Every contribution comes together as an expression of grace, compassion, and the shared faith that we are called to stand with one another in times of trial.

Beyond financial help, we seek to send a clear message: you are not alone. We stand together as one, in faith and in love. To be part of this initiative, please use this link. Kindly note that your donation is intended for families affected during the war.

Miriam wrote on Facebook that Shlomy suffers from a painful slipped disk that he was healed of 15 years ago. It has come back and he needs to be healed again. Also pray for severe leg pain from small vein syndrome. They have applied to get a car lift that will the state may provide. The small vein syndrome qualifies Shlomy for the lift and would open a way also to allow taking handicapped persons on day trips as they already do for non-handicapped people. Please pray that the lifter and installation will be approved soon – also pray for the back and leg pain Shlomy is dealing with.

The article is The Promise that Withstands Generations, and it is also followed by points of Day 39 (4/7) of David’s daily updates on the war actions. You can also join Josie’s Weekly Prayer for Israel via Zoom. All the above is located at this link.

SilverStefanKeren2026 (91 x 85).jpgKerem-El, a daughter congregation of the Carmel congregation, is led by Stefan and Keren Silver. Like all of the Israeli congregations, during the war they were not allowed to hold services in person, but met instead for Zoom services. “After the ceasefire took affect last week, we’ve been able to return to regular meetings, for now. However, this could change at any given moment. We want to thank you for your continuing prayers and support for Kerem-El during this difficult time.” As they wrote, “life here in the land has been disrupted for the past month. Virtually every family in Israel is affected directly or indirectly, with reservists being called up and having to leave their families to deal with the trauma of daily bombings. Schools were closed and classes held online, which has proven to be extremely difficult for the teachers and the children, and the parents as well. Jobs have also been affected, with many businesses struggling to survive.”

These are prayer priorities over this congregation, and indeed many of the congregations across Israel. Even with few deaths reported from the massive missile and drone attacks all across Israel, there is life-changing damage all over. Homes shattered, many wounded. Your prayers and financial support can make a difference for those who are believers of Israel sharing the Gospel.

4/13 A Jew-hater can’t negotiate Middle East peace | Why don’t we ever finish the job we started in Iran? | Women and children first – Islam’s human shield weapon | Can you be happy in a war? | Israel can exist, just not as a Jewish state |

GrinmanOrna2016 (80 x 85).jpgOrna Grinman, A Sign & An Example, really brings a special word in her 2-part reflections of “Shaking” – especially Part 2 really knocked me out. In Shakings Part 1 Orna wonders “What is happening in the heavens during this war on earth? What does God see from there, through clouds of smoke and pyrotechnics?” Then Shakings Part 2, in fun activities putting together puzzles, God speaks the most amazing message to her through the puzzle itself. Only He sees the big picture and there will be surprises as that picture puzzle comes together for us. God uses even our recreational interests and pursuits to say the most astounding things to us.

BikasDovOlga2019.jpgDov and Olga Bikas and the Aviv Ministry team send this update which you can read online by linking to the PDF here. They also share “the second part of the documentary film dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Aviv Ministry. It is called “Invisible People.” This part is about those society chooses not to see – people living on the streets, overlooked, ignored, and forgotten. Yet behind every “invisible” life is a person longing not just for help, but for dignity, love, and hope.
    FYI:
Those with addiction problems of all kinds all across Israel are drawn to these streets in Tel Aviv when they reach a tipping point in their addiction that smaller towns cannot support. These are the poorest and meanest streets, filled with desperate addicted people and all sorts of crime. Yet believers from the congregations all over Israel come to the Aviv Center to volunteer in outreach an aid to the most hopeless of all people in Israel. This is ministry that takes a special heart. You can donate to help them minister “to the least of these My brethren” at this link.

FergusonKobiShani (111 x 85).jpgKobi and Shani Ferguson, Maoz Israel Ministries write, “This war was supposed to be about a better tomorrow for tens of millions of people. It is about gutting a poisonous, cancerous evil and planting seeds for freedom of worship in the heart of the Middle East.

We realize trying to understand everything from a distance can be frustrating. We can only tell those who trust us, our hope is that an incredible evil is being addressed before it reaches our doorstep and yours. An evil that has been preparing tirelessly for decades to crush freedoms we all hold dear.

In the Middle East, they understand this. Which is why, in the craziest plot twist you could imagine, entities historically hostile to Israel the West, are suddenly singing the praises of the US and Israel. Arguably, it’s not because we’re that great – it’s because they’re that desperate. . . .Whether you think going to war was a wise decision or not, it has created space for change. As such, we are preparing for the moment Iran’s rebirth could open the door for the Gospel to be shouted from the rooftops.

    A call to prayer.

    FYI from Donna
: Over the past several years there has been a spread in the American Christian world of the idea that the ancient false gods have come back and are the demons we wrestle against spiritually in the current time. Not only are the ancient false gods believed by Christians to be what we are waging spiritual warfare against, but many who believe this also say, ‘Jezebel was just a woman.’

I believe that is an unfortunate distraction of the people of God and here is why. The book of Revelation does not name ANY of the ancient false gods but it does name the spirit of Jezebel as a MAJOR spiritual enemy the body faces in the last days.

Don’t waste your time spiritually warring against false gods when the major spiritual influence against the Church is actually Jezebel and the Beast. Most of the ancient false gods were worshipped for favor in things most people in the modern world do not even consider as coming from worshipping or sacrificing to a crafted golden idol. Our idols are movie, music, and sports stars, not golden statues that dictate how much our farm fields yield, or to seek for our personal safety or favor to prosper. The mindset of the modern world is not tied to the ancient mythological gods and goddesses, but the demons spirit of Jezebel sure lives large among us. Big time.

My best advice to you is to let the Word of God speak to you about where the warfare lies, not those who send you on a spiritual scavenger hunt for the false gods of ancient civilizations God has already removed from influencing myths. Focus on the spirits that the Bible names, and in John the Revelator, that dominant spiritual foe of the believers in Jesus is the spirit of Jezebel.

Israeli Jennifer Guetta, a former biblical archaeologist who was delivered by God from dabbling in the Kabbalah, set free and saved, has a biblical word to say about the spirit of Jezebel in the day we live.
