Arrows from Zion Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries

Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

BoskeyAvnerRachel2026 cropped (84 x 75).jpg

In “Wheeling and Dealing in the Middle EastAvner Boskey of David’s Tent writes, “On Sunday June 14, 2026, POTUS Trump announced: “The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all!” An Iranian-American ‘Peace Deal’ (MOU, or Memorandum of Understanding) was digitally signed privately on Sunday June 14, and will be publicly signed in Switzerland on Friday June 19, 2026. Will this ‘Iranian Deal’ end up solving Middle Eastern problems – or will it end up dissolving Trump’s government and turning the POTUS’ heart away from the God of Jacob and His Jewish people?

“. . . .In ‘Slow Train Comin,’ Bob Dylan wryly comments: “All that foreign oil controlling American soil. Look around you, it’s just bound to make you embarrassed. Sheiks walkin’ around like kings wearing fancy jewels and nose rings, deciding America’s future from Amsterdam and to Paris. And there’s a slow, slow train comin’ up around the bend . . . Big-time negotiators, . . . Masters of the bluff and masters of the proposition.”
From there Avner goes on to explain the Persian-style principles of negotiations something I am quite sure none of the active negotiators on the American side of these Iranian talks know about in the least! Avner finishes with How shall we then pray? One of those prayer points: Pray that spiritual deception will be broken and nullified over America’s leadership, some who seem to be choosing to side with the jihadi anti-Israel forces of Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran
Rachel
writes: On Shabbat June 20 We hosted a blessed event at Moshav Yad HaShmonah near Jerusalem. Our E37 Launch party celebrating the online platforming of our E37 Institute series after 3-1/2 years of work, creative collaboration and preparation. With about 90 friends, we enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and homemade cookies, and we presented the vision and purpose of E37, showing videos and reels from the coming series. We are so thankful for those who joined us and celebrated with us. Much encouraging feedback has strengthened our hearts. We hope to post a video (on Facebook) of the launch party in coming weeks. We are so glad for the timing of the Lord, that David Boskey could be with us for this event. The Lord’s timing in the release of E37 seems quite clear. We desire to raise up the truth of His Word regarding His heart and purposes for Israel and push back the darkness with His light and the sword of His Spirit, the Word of God. We are thankful for your prayers and encouragement

CohenGuyTali2022.jpg

Guy Cohen of Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco is a native Israeli and a ‘Fisher of Men’. In the article he posted on Facebook, which he gave me permission to republish, Cohen speaks to the biblical role Israel still holds in God’s plans. Contrary to many Christians who believe God replaced Israel with the Church, Guy speaks about the Bible is clear about the consistency of God’s faithfulness to Israel: “When Christian leaders study Jewish history yet conclude that the reestablishment of the State of Israel holds no spiritual significance, or when they present the Jewish people as having been completely rejected by God, I believe they are overlooking a central aspect of the biblical witness.”

Before Zionism there was Zion (300 x 200).jpg

Guy writes in Before There was Zionism, There was Zion: “I have often found myself standing before believers in Yeshua who objected to the word “Zionism.” For some, the term is viewed solely as a political concept, something that has no place in matters of faith. Yet as a Messianic Jew, I repeatedly found myself opening the Scriptures and explaining what Zion is, why it is so central to the Bible, how it is connected to God’s promises to Israel, and why generations of Jews carried their prayers, longings, and hopes toward it….” MORE

KleinArniYonit2017 (162 x 85).jpg

Arni Klein writing for Emmaus Way gives this praise report: “We have just returned to Israel from our third visit to Uganda, having presented the eight-session seminar “On Earth as it is in Heaven” six times in all. It’s been a great privilege to be sent into a field that has received us personally along with the burden we have carried for more than three decades. You can probably imagine how rewarding it is to again and again hear, particularly from pastors and ministers, how this word has deeply impacted their lives and revolutionized their ministries. The revelation of God being a person and their seeing Israel from His perspective, as simple and straightforward as it is, has taken them to a new depth of intimacy and understanding. We feel like we are in on the ground floor of an awakening of a potential multitude to a long-awaited dream. . . . “In an unexpected moment, the folks that God used to get us off the ground were no longer able to continue as part of the work. . . .our ministry activities have shifted to focus more on working with congregations and groups and limiting the number of seminars for the general public to one each visit instead of two. Our general plan to be there for at least a month four times this year remains unchanged. This change of people, places, and things landed in rapid succession with the unction of a small tsunami. Once we caught our breath we realized we were quite okay and marveled at how settled we felt so soon after such an upheaval. We are reminded that every God-ordained pioneering initiative comes with a direct line to a heavenly tow truck. Praise the Lord.”

“. . . . As we seek the Lord to accomplish the vision, a crucial step is to get all the material translated into Luganda. . . .We have found someone to do a voice-over translation for the seminar and the foundations course. We estimate the cost for translation and studio recording time for about forty hours of teaching to be around $2500. We are starting the work in faith trusting the Lord to supply the need, as it’s an absolute must. Praise the Lord that the apartment expense and Annie’s support is basically covered. We continue to cover the flight costs ourselves of $2500 dollars per trip. Offerings from the Body at large there are virtually non-existent, as the average salary is less than $200 per month. If what we have shared over the years has been a blessing to any of you, perhaps you would consider having a part in equipping the Body in Africa to raise up dwelling places for the Lord all across the continent.”

“. . . . With all this focus on Africa, it bears reiterating that the reason we’re there is to raise spiritual support for the Body in Israel. The steps set forth in Scripture are simple to follow: 1) The Lord’s return and the awakening of the church are connected to the eyes of Israel being opened (Matt. 23:39, Rom.11:15); 2) The blindness being removed from Israel is the result of the nations coming to fullness (Rom.11:25); and 3) We understand the fullness of the nations to be their entering into their primary calling and purpose regarding Israel (Rom.11:11), in the realization that a fruit of being grafted in as partakers of the commonwealth of Israel includes taking the calling of Israel as their own, which is to be the dwelling place of God.” Donations to Emmaus Way here

BassHowardRandi2_2025 (92 x 80).jpg

Howard Bass
reports on 6/22 from the Beer Sheva Yeshua’s Inheritance/Nachalat Yeshua congregation that one of the soldiers of the congregation was “seriously injured in a tank ambush in Lebanon” (6/16-17). Howard writes, “Many prayed around the country, and also abroad, and he left the hospital already on Friday, and was at our service on Shabbat! He told the congregation what happened, and how God saved him from what he thought was going to end up in his death. The other three soldiers in his tank were injured more severely and are still hospitalized in Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Yair still has 1 1/2 years to go for his military service. This was the second time in little over two months that Yair had given the congregation a testimony of what’s going on in his war experience, and on both occasions gave glory to the Lord for rescuing him from what he truly believed was going to be the end of his life. He is receiving trauma care, both from the military, and also from believers who specialize in these situations. Thank you for praying for the soldiers here most of whom have only known war during their lives. | On the family front, Joyanna, Evan Bass’ wife gave birth to a Bass grandson IN A CAR on the way to a Tulsa hospital. “By the grace of God, a friend, and a former nurse, was in the car with them on the way.  Evan could keep driving while God was bringing a boy into the world!” This is the 9th grandchild for Randi and Howard, the 3rd grandson, the 1st grandson with the last name of Bass. The next day Evan was able to celebrate Father’s Day with new meaning. Mazal Tov to all the Bass Families!

Reuven Doron writes spiritual analysis of the news surrounding Israel with amazing prophetic insight. The same goes for his straight up spiritual insight into the Word. In the past several weeks these include a video with a wonderful story of how his parents met and fell in love on an Israeli beach pulling Jews from Europe escaping the Holocaust out of the Mediterranean to the safety of the Jewish Homeland. Don’t miss: How the War Could Have Ended | “Israel was planning to destroy hundreds of key targets in Iran in one continuous air campaign, paralyzing Iran’s power and transportation grids in one swift lethal move. Such a large-scale assault was designed to prove to the enemy, once and for all, that Israel is done playing games of cat and mouse at the expense of our entire civilian population that was, once again, sheltering in bomb shelters with Iranian missiles overhead. This nasty war that was forced upon Israel by her enemies 2.5 years ago could have ended with a resounding and definite victory; a victory that would have resulted in a genuine regime change, freedom to the Iranian civilians, and stability to the entire region. In our opinion, the short term suffering of the “innocents” would have been outweighed by the long term positive outcomes. But it did not happen.”

BlumenthalArielVered (98 x 79).jpg From Tikkun Global, ExecDir Ariel Blumenthal in a video teaching, “The Yahwist, Sionist Nicene Creed” Pt 2 Asks: “Why is it so hard for some Christians to connect their faith to Israel? Can another key reason be found in one of Christianity’s most important statements of faith: the Nicene Creed?” (Pt 1 here) | Article by Tikkun Founder Asher IntraterHead of Church – King of Israel” | Asher Intrater VIDEO : “When the Nations Rise Against Jerusalem” – 15 biblical passages that reveal the various outcomes of these battles and how the Lord, Yeshua, intervenes. One biblical picture for this moment is the Pharaoh confronted by Moses in Exodus.”

MizrachiAviChaya2025 (69 x 80).jpg
Avi Mizrachi writes, “What a New Generation Looks Like When It Seeks God” At Dugit Ministries Outreach “We had the joy of hosting a special youth worship evening in the heart of Tel Aviv. Young believers traveled from across Israel to gather together for a night of worship, fellowship, and encouragement….We are grateful for opportunities like these to encourage and strengthen young believers in Israel. Thank you for helping make gatherings like this possible through your prayers and support. Would you join us in praying for this next generation of Israeli believers?”

SayeghRania2019a (78 x 85).jpg
Rania Sayegh of HOPE-Nazareth is an Arab Christian prophetic intercessor in good stead with the Messianic Jewish believers of Israel. It’s truly a great example of “one new man” alive in Israel. This Issue, Rania is sharing in a video format about her annual Arab Deborah’s Arising 2026. This is important ministry Rania leads with the help of international women, for ministering to many Arab Christian pastors wives and other women in the Christian Arab body of the Lord in Israel. Please what this short video from Rania as she shares the heart and vision behind Arab Deborah’s Arising.

Bishai Ruby 2026 (85 x 114).jpg
Ruby is a Christian Arab on the leadership team of Fields of Wheat team who has a really exciting vision for providing ministry and opportunity for Christian Arab youth as he has seen and been part of for Israeli Messianic Jewish youth. Fields of Wheat is delighted with Ruby’s visions and being a part of it too.
On his 30th birthday in June Ruby wrote, “One of the Israeli news websites uploaded a page where you can put in your birth date, and it calculates how much of your life has been spent in war. Not only official wars, but also intifadas, terror waves, military operations, and everything in between. . . . I put in my birth date, mostly out of curiosity, and the result honestly stopped me for a second. It said that 52% of my life has been spent at war. At first, I thought there must be some mistake….the math checked out. More than half of my life has been lived in a reality of war.
That is a strange thing to write. It is even stranger to realize that, in some way, it has become normal. I grew up with this reality. Sirens, military operations, tension in the north or the south, terror attacks, rockets, funerals, news updates, and the feeling that everything can change in one moment. For Israelis, this is not just “current events.” It becomes part of how you grow up. It shapes the way you think, the way you plan, the way you pray, and sometimes even the way you hope.
And then I thought about the teenagers we serve. . . .the percentage of their lives spent in war is even higher. Some of them have spent most of their childhood and teenage years under this shadow. For them, canceled school, canceled camps, running to shelters, parents being called into reserves, and living with uncertainty are not rare moments. They are part of life.

That thought has stayed with me. Because when we talk about youth ministry in Israel, we are not talking about ministry in a simple or normal environment. We are talking about young people who are carrying fear, pressure, grief, confusion, and questions that are much bigger than their age. And in the last few months, that weight has only become heavier.
….We know plans can change here very quickly. We have learned that again and again. But we also know why this matters. In a place where everything feels fragile, our young people need something deeper than just encouragement. They need an anchor. They need truth. They need community. They need to know that even when the world around them feels unstable, God is not shaken. And honestly, I need that reminder too….Our hope has to be in Yeshua.
….Please pray for our summer camp. Pray that we will be able to gather. Pray that the teens will come with open hearts. Pray that it will be a place of rest, joy, healing, and encounter with God.

MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (116 x 75).jpg

Chaim Malespin, Aliyah Return Center, sends this video update on 6/19 called, Trauma and the Path to Healing. Chaim tours the Nova Festival Memorial that tells many of the stories that came out of the October 7th, 2023 Hamas attack on Israeli citizens. He brings the reality home – no horrific violent scenes – but he brings it home how Israel is on the closest “borders” with Islamist terrorists.

MY VIEW is Israel is the frontlines fighters of the Islamist invasion going on across the world. You may not get that at this moment, many don’t, and especially we in USA falsely feel we are FAR away from facing that particular Jihad war, but we are not. It is springing up all around us and most of you are like the proverbial frog in a heating caldron imagining it is a Jacuzzi hot tub! Jihadist have the same thing in mind for Americans that they have for Israel, the UK and Europe. You may think you are safe, but if you asked the Brits & Europeans if they still believe they are safe, normal citizens would answer NO. The blindness in the Western nations to the Jihad invasion is what is going to bring many back to faith in the God of their forefathers. The slaughter of innocents by Jihadists is NOT GOD’S PLAN, but it will decisively determine who returns to God and who will not.

PochtarIsraelVicky2023 (150 x 80).jpg
Israel Pochtar
of the Ashdod Beit Hallel congregation and Voice of Judah ministry sends 2 video devotionals, Why the Lord Still Calls to Zion and When the Heavens Open: Lessons from the Biblical Month of Tammuz “For the people of Israel, Tammuz is connected to some of the most difficult moments in our nation’s history….Yet what I find so encouraging is that this same month is also associated with one of the most powerful revelations of God’s glory recorded in Scripture.”

Hyde Ariel Shayla (99 x 85).jpg
The team at Tree of Life Israel led by Ariel & Shayla Hyde continue to inform Israelis about the sin of abortion in a video testimony “I Couldn’t Forgive Myself.” Watch and share about Larissa who was Broken by Abortion, Healed & Restored by Jesus. Their prayer points are for many hearts in Israel to be softened to the truth of the Gospel, and for the release of Larissa’s story to be protected for social from social media platform restrictions. Pray the video reaches those who will hear, repents and be healed.

MazinLeonNina2021a (92 x 85).jpg .
Heavily involved in their School of Music & the Arts, Leon Mazin who leads the Return to Zion congregation, talks about summer season switch from academics to their annual concerts and the other projects that their ministry id involved with: to street people battling deep addictions, to the soup kitchen distributing hot meals to seniors in assisted living facilities and new immigrants. “All of these individuals — the lonely elderly and those on the streets—deeply need care, acceptance, and tangible God’s love. We would be so grateful if you would keep them, and our team, in your prayers. Thank you for standing with us through your prayers and financial support. You are a vital part of every story of transformation here. May God bless you abundantly. “

YanayYouvalValerie2023 (90 x 80).jpg

Youval & Valerie Yanay head the Revive Israel discipleship community in the Messianic village of Yad HaShmona. They too are marking the end of the academic year with graduations and end of year ceremonies. They are also in prep for the youth Camp Connexion in France with French youth peers. It is a week of discipleship, fellowship, and unity. “We are praying that this gathering would become a place where young people encounter the Lord, grow in their faith, and experience the unity that comes through Yeshua.” They ask prayers for the French Connexion and also for the Friday Market at the summer harvest continues to bear edible fruit, they seek spiritual fruit to be abundant to. “Pray for continued blessing over the farm and all those who serve here.”

CohenMoti2025 (61 x 80).jpg
Moti Cohen is the native Israeli who leads the Tiferet Yeshua congregation in Tel Aviv. They write, “Tel Aviv – an ultra-progressive city with a large and influential LGBTQ community that has a lot of influence…. We can say from experience of ministering in this city for many years that we almost never hear testimonies of people from the LGBTQ community who came to faith and decided to leave the homosexual lifestyle. This last year, however, God showed us nothing is impossible with Him. Read more | One of the core activities our team is doing is one-on-one discipleship for new believers and seekers. It is super personalized. We don’t rush the process. . . .we found that this investment in new believers also establishes closer relationships with the team and the congregation and really brings them into the family of faith. . . .Your support allows us to invest in people who are seeking for truth and make more disciples for the harvest that God has promised for Israel. Please Give.

SilverStefanKeren2026 (91 x 85).jpg
Stefan and Keren Silver lead the Kerem-El/God’s Vineyard congregation which is a daughter to the HaCarmel congregation. They lead off their report with the much needed renovation of their meeting room at Beit Yedida, another ministry established out of HaCarmel. Out with the worn out fabrics, fixtures & floors and in with new warmth and welcoming updates for their gatherings. Even new chairs! All possible through “the generosity of faithful donors and the sacrificial giving of members .” More renovation to come, if you would like to help out, the total cost will be between 85-90,000 NIS which is between $28,000 to just shy of $30,000 USD) Give via PayPal Give via F.I.R.M.)

The congregation’s prayer requests are echoed throughout the congregations of Israel:

Pray for super natural strength. We’ve been in a stressful and very challenging situation for over 8 weeks straight and this of course is taking a toll on our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical strength. Please pray for the Lord to renew our community in all aspects.

Pray for comfort. Many people and families in our congregation have family members in the army and need the Lords comfort and peace.

Pray for the pre-military academy cadets. Pray the seeds sown in the lives of the cadets to bring them to Yeshua, the one who saves, and for opportunities to host more of them in the future.

Pray for our pastoral team. During these trying days we desperately need wisdom, creativity and the strength to lead the congregation ahead.

Pray for provision. For the renovation project, and all other financial needs that the ministry work requires: projects, overheads and salaries.

Pray for our soldiers. The young men and women who serve in the IDF, are not getting to come home as often because of the war. Please pray that the Lord will keep them and protect them, succeed them and that they would know the Lord deeply during their military service.

Pray for new social involvement opportunities. Pray for the Lord to open more doors for us as a congregation to reach out to our community especially during these trying days. Pray for boldness and zeal to share the good news with our neighbors, colleagues and friends.
