Paradigm Shift: God’s Family

Here’s a thought for you.
You know how churches that committed to true racially integrated congregations did away with thinking in terms of “white church” or “black church”? I just had the thought, and I will gladly say it was more likely a God-thought than a Donna-thought, that until we can get to the point that we can see ourselves as God’s whole family, a unity that transcends even “Israel and the Church” we are not going to move into a LOT of things God wants for us.
Until we understand and embrace that we are moving toward the magnificent climax of the crescendo we are already in the midst of, we will not be living out the things God wants from us ahead of the Second Coming.
Yes, the unique aspects of Israel and the Church will still exist, just exactly as the differences between husbands and wives continue after marriage changes their relationship and status in the eyes of God.
Saved Israel and the Church, like husband and wife, are in a union, but only in a unity when we are seeing ourselves as God views the oneness of a marriage. After marriage we are increasingly becoming a family, and saved Israel and the Church will only ever come close to being in the spiritual state and position God wants us in when we see ourselves not as entirely separate entities, but as a whole family.
We have to have a paradigm shift. There was the Israel history and then there was the Church history, but now we are clearly headed into a whole new realm of God’s kingdom. We must start looking at ourselves as a whole people – a whole Family of God.
Read more: Paradigm Shift: God’s FamilyWhen two single people, a man and a woman, get married, they go through a paradigm shift. No longer can they as a man or a woman continue to think solely of themselves. For a marriage to work both of them must begin to think of themselves as a unified, married couple. This a unity has purpose in that it is the only way to make our combined lives work for both of our sakes. If all is for the sake of the man, or the sake of the woman, a marriage cannot work well for them. To grow for the mutual benefit as a couple is the only way it can work. That’s where saved Israel and the Church are today.
Then when offspring are produced in a marriage an even stronger family bond is formed. That is where we are in the building of God’s whole family, and this is what a last great harvest of souls before the end is all about. Because in this season before the end, God is bringing those who will respond in the Church to come alongside of the body of saved Israel, for the spiritual restoration of Israel. As Christians help the ministries and congregations of Jewish believers who are producing offspring, this is a spiritual release of salvation worldwide in the Kingdom of Yeshua-Jesus. This is the blessing of “life from the dead” and it is the last days “revival” in the Church too. The more the body in Israel produce spiritual offspring, the more the Church will produce spiritual offspring too.
This is what God wants for His whole family. He doesn’t want the man only being concerned about what he wants, but also what his wife needs and wants. And vice versa. He wants us to love and protect each other, so we are safe and our children are safe. This is true in the spiritual parallel of Israel and the Church coming into the fulness of being a unified, whole family. God wants us to increase in seeing each other as a family in God – God’s whole family with us loving each as God loves all of us.
Another paradigm we have to break is in the Church thinking merely in terms of periodic revivals. This is not just another time as in the book of Judges where a revival of faith broke out and over time receded back into sin and disbelief. In this final season is God is moving us into play for the full-scale creation of the Family of God on the earth under the Kingdom rule of the Messiah King of Kings.
