Guy Cohen leads the Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco, Israel, the city of his birth. This is one of the many Messianic Jews of Israel carrying on the same mandate the first century Apostles carried in the Book of Acts to Revelation. He is a young, anointed man of God.

As a Messianic Jewish congregational leader, I often engage in conversations with fellow believers and Christian leaders concerning Israel, the Jewish people, and God’s unfolding plan in history. While some of these discussions are encouraging and fruitful, others leave me deeply troubled, particularly when I encounter teachings that suggest God has rejected Israel or that the Church has replaced Israel in His covenant purposes.

It is important for me to make one thing clear from the outset: my disagreement is not with Arabs living in Judea and Samaria or anywhere else, nor does it stem from ethnic or national considerations. I believe that every human being is created in the image of God and is worthy of dignity, love, and fair treatment. Jews and Arabs alike are in need of God’s grace, and none of us stands before Him on the basis of our own righteousness.

My disagreement is theological. It concerns the question of whether God remains faithful to the covenants He made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and whether the promises given to Israel remain in effect.

According to my understanding of the Scriptures, the answer is yes.

  • Deal Maker or Deal Breaker?

There are times, especially true for leaders, when we have to make really hard choices that involve a choice to do what is right rather than a choice that by human reasoning is more beneficial to us personally, or the safer choice to make.

Trump Whisperer Dick Morris on X said that bringing gas prices back down would destroy Democrats in the mid-terms. Is that what turned Trump 180 degrees from backing Israel to backing the impossible deal made with Islamist terrorists?

Could be. Trump does look down the road to what will allow him to make the most of his power. I don’t have a problem with that maneuvering per se, but in Israel’s case, you better go with what God wants, not what the political analysts say.

When there are tough choices to be made, what looks like the “safe” move may actually be the most dangerous of all. If your choice puts you on the wrong side of God’s people, He isn’t going to take that passively. You may not believe God is that involved when you deal treacherously with His people.

As Ecclesiastes 8:11 says, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”

For a long time the world has gotten away with harsh treatment of the Jews, and even almost 8 decades within the restored State of Israel. Let those who think it is the safe move to disregard Israel’s rights and welfare, for our own personal expedience, be warned. The time to mess with Israel is past. The evil you do against what God is doing in and with Israel will come back on you swiftly now.

We don’t like to think that the good Americans could be so shallow as to throw Israel under the terrorism bus in trade of lower prices at the gas tank, but they are. Nevertheless, that is not the safe choice for President Trump to make. He was put into the White House to restore good to the American people. He cannot do that if he sells our Israel

He should tremble at the thought of what God thinks about his Iran deal.

  • Praying for Trump Deal Breaker

I believe this is what turned Trump’s stand on Iran: “Ivanka Trump, an Alleged Iran-Linked Assassination Plot, & Broader Violence” Military News on May 26th

It must have been all the stress on him and his family with assassination attempts. Somehow, someone – maybe it was Jared after the plot to kill Ivanka – convinced him it would be okay to remove the threat with a peace plan we all know will bring no peace.

I don’t think Jared understands the Islamist mind, like most liberal American Jews or Westerners in general. To think “everyone has a price” is natural to Witkoff and Kushner. It is not true of Islamists.

JD Vance has a different mindset operating, that is of a smug conservative with anti-Israeli prejudices like Tucker Carlson’s. He deserves all the hell he is getting right now for that.

The President has a better heart for goodness than he is showing in allowing what he has allowed in the MOU. I believe Trump caved due to the threat to his own daughter combined with the continual stress of battering by haters and assassination attempts on his own life.

For months he has had a grim countenance that tells me he has come to the conclusion that it has taken too much from him, the wonderful commitment he made to restore America.

This is why he is digging in his heels because so many of us – those who have always supported him – are now recoiling in anger from the evil decision made to give Israel over to the terrorist jackals of hell.

I encourage everyone to pray FOR Trump to regain clarity and steadfastness in doing the right thing. He can end this. He can stop it dead before disaster.

Let’s pray that God will move Trump’s heart to do the right thing, not this evil plan.

  • Trump Signs MOU with Terrorists

Two days ago I saw a picture of Trump standing alone at the G7 looking worn down & glum. There was a comment about how beaten down he looked. I don’t want to come in agreement with the chorus of those who are happy to see this in Trump.

As much as I believe the Iran Deal is a betrayal of Israel I believe it is a betrayal of Trump too. It is a betrayal of every good thing Donald J. Trump has done for our country and everything he has tried to do at a great personal price. I will not cheer that on.

I don’t just have rough words for President Trump. I have been seeing his beaten down and grim appearance for months but I also see a man to stayed in the fight when others might have said it is just not worth the cost to me.

My only words for Trump are that unless we are doing God’s will in everything, we cannot prevail. Unless we seek God’s will in the decisions we make, we will make wrong decisions.

Let me tell you something: if the Iran Deal goes through, it is nothing to crow about that Trump was wrong in letting the BAD COUNSELORS prevail about the deal. The reason is that it is not just a reflection on Donald Trump, but it is a reflection of the people of the United States.

If Trump fails at this precise point of Iran gaining strength against Israel, do not think it is going to be well for you. If the price of your gasoline means more than the welfare of Israel, you are looking at greater disasters ahead than high payments at the gas station.

It is a godless, polluted soul that measures the value of everything by their greed for money.

While I surely do see the grave error Trump has made placing his faith in JD Vance, Witcoff, his own Jewish son-in-law on this Iran deal, I also see how Trump has fought for the USA with all his might against the most overwhelming opposition. His heart was in the right place even though he has followed the counsel of fools thinking there was a deal to be made with the devil.

Hidden opposition is always an overwhelming factor because in our own strength, we cannot prevail against all the hidden bad actors against us. We spend our time wondering who they even are! ‘Is it her or is it him? Is it this one or that one?’

Only God can deliver us from hidden saboteurs and manipulative wizards behind the curtains pulling strings of opposition that seeks our destruction, downfall, dishonor, disgrace and death.

That’s what Trump has been up against. His opposition thinks nothing of continual assassination attempts against him, or even of his beloved children just to take away his breath, his life energy at such a loss of his children.

If you do not have enough mercy in you to recognize that, then I think you are far away from what God wants to see for Trump.
This is why after making it perfectly clear that I believe the Iran deal is a massive, even near-fatal blow to America, I am NOT going to curse Donald Trump with many words against him.

I curse the spirits driving this Iran deal, I curse the Iran deal to die before it is fully born. ABORT! ABORT! ABORT! I pray the wind of the Spirit of God will fill Donald Trump and he DISMISS all those counselors who have led him to this most deadly decision for the Middle East.

I appeal to the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus, to have mercy on us for more time, and to end this bad faith deal with Iran.

Free the Iranian people from the Islamist grip and guide Israel not to reverse from the understanding that NO nation will provide ISRAEL safety, only God.

Revive Israel, revive President Trump, revive the godly ones in America in Yeshua’s name.

  • Donald Trump & Lou Engle MOU’s

I had a SUDDEN startling remembrance that a week prior to the Trump announcement that the United States was signing a MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) with Israel’s deadly enemies, Iran, the state sponsor of terrorism against Israel – not only by Iran but by Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen – I received an email from Lou Engle‘s ministry saying they had entered into partnership with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.

Christians wake up! That is a betrayal of the Messianic body of believers in Israel on an EQUAL LEVEL as Trump’s betrayal of Israel as a nation!.

I believe in the principle that what happens in the earthly realms is a REFLECTION of what is happening in the Church.

How can we expect Trump not to betray Israel, when the current leading Christian intercessory figure in the United States with longstanding interaction with Israeli Messianic Jewish leaders, betrays the whole Israeli Messianic body by forming an alliance with an organization with a long history of opposition against ANY Jewish believers in Jesus?

Trump should have known better and so Lou Engle should have too.

Let me add, I am not making Lou Engle an enemy, but he should repent from this. And don’t tell me I should only tell him privately. I have no ability to reach Engle privately. You tell your leaders who do have personal contact with Engle to reach out to counsel him about this terrible misstep he has made which is on par with the one Trump made.

Sometimes when I scroll through my feed and see some of the things ministries are pushing for those that think they are on the cutting edge of spiritual things, I can’t help thinking about the only time I can recall in scripture when Jesus seemed furious – a 100% righteous anger that so many deny peaceful Jesus even is capable of.

What single thing did religious people do that made Jesus so furious? It was when He came into the temple and saw the corrupt money changers and those who were price-gouging the poor who had come to the temple to make a sacrifice to God as they were instructed His Word to do.

It was one thing to sell them a dove to sacrifice at a reasonable price and an entirely different thing to over charge poor people so the seller could live in prosperity. If you don’t think Jesus still thinks like this, you sure don’t know the God you serve. You have no idea how much God hates this because so many have been doing it for so long, you have come to think of it as normal. It’s normal for the worldly, but not normal for the kingdom of God.

Jesus said to them, “My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers.”

All true ministries need resources to continue to minister, but those who use ministry as a get rich scheme really do not understand that God sees exactly what they are doing and Jesus doesn’t take kindly to it.

I hope you understand that I am not talking about just the richest or the famous names who have become wealthy in ministry. I am ALSO talking about those ministers who are trying to build their brand using spiritual gimmicks that appeal to both the uninformed and believers with ears always itching for something brand new that no one has ever heard of before. It appeals to those who love the latest name of a demonic spirit they can command against – with a result of doing nothing for anyone of any spiritual value!

Don’t waste your time following this people who are leading you off the paths of God, or those who are more concerned about the money they keep than the ministry you receive from them.

When I was telling Grok how I wanted this depicted, it showed what I always see from AI generated scenes about this – Jesus with an enraged facial expression. I don’t think that is what Jesus expression was. How I told Grok to refine the depiction of the scene is instructive, not only to Grok but to us:

Righteous anger is a different expression than evil wrath as the first picture Grok made for me expresses. Jesus is not out of control with his face contorted in anger. He is flipping tables of merchandise over to show how displeased he is. Tone down the look of rage in Jesus – that’s not what this was about. He was removing the things that corrupted the merchants.

Then Grok understood more of what I wanted: “controlled righteous indignation and purposeful authority.”

Finally, this instruction gave me the picture below about the crowd: Some are merchants and some are the poor people the merchants are taking advantage of, so not all would be angry with what Jesus is doing, the poor would be marveling that he stood up for them.

Now, the final word I have on this is that the merchants-ministries that take instruction on this do not need a crowd like Frankenstein had – peasants with pitchforks baying for blood! Those who will take the flipping over of their ‘merchandise’ and quit acting like money is their god, will take the rebuke that Jesus intended that day when He flipped over the tables in the temple. We are His temple, and He is overturning the ‘merchandise’ mentality we have in our own hearts. We call it ministry when it is often the drive for riches and fame. It doesn’t belong. And the poor people who have been taken advantage of are going to be grateful for the change to truth in the lives of many ministries.

I could write a book on the ignorance of Lou Engle thinking he is standing with Israel well in a partnership with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews WHO OPPOSE MESSIANIC JEWS IN ISRAEL & anywhere else. Lou Engle has made a massive misstep.

How is it that Lou Engle has rubbed elbows with Israel and American Messianic Jews for years and has failed to grasp that Christians cannot align with the Jewish organizations that oppose Jews being in the faith of Jesus?

  • Tending the Fig Tree

    Long Term Barrenness

    is not God’s Final Answer

    My Backyard Prophetic Sign

FB showed me a picture and an article I posted on June 7 2025 June 7. It is somewhat of a mission statement and what has been like a prophetic sign to me in my own backyard. After 27 years of barrenness, my fig tree has been bearing fruit the last two years. My expectations are that reality will soon catch up to the backyard sign of my fig tree. The first picture is the fig tree on June 7, 2025 and the second picture was taken June 7 2026. This year there is even more figs loaded on that tree than last year. The barren years are over.

    Tending the Fig Tree

Whoever tends the fig tree shall eat its fruit. Proverbs 27:18

    by Donna Diorio

June 6 2025: As I write this on Tuesday morning with my coffee, I am eating a giant fig from my fig tree. For the first time since I planted it in 1998, it has finally produced fruit, and it is fruit in abundance! Most years it produced absolutely no fruit whatsoever.

Several times I concluded it was not planted in the right place to get the sun it needed. Even when we left the apartment and moved into this house in 2003 I had to replant it at least three times trying to find the place it would thrive.

It has been in the same location now for over a decade, a perfect spot but it continued not to produce fruit that could be eaten. Twice two bitter winters leveled it to the ground, but it grew back stronger, and even produced 3 or 4 figs we could eat.

  • God chose Moses

God chose Moses from the womb and protected him from death when the enemy tried to destroy a generation of sons from whom the deliverer of Israel would arise. BUT the FIRST ENCOUNTER of Moses with God did not happen until much later, and the first test that Moses passed was recorded in Exodus 3:4
“When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called out to him from within the bush, “Moses, Moses!” “Here I am,” he answered.”

Who is paying attention to what God plans to do? I think about my return to God in 1982 in the same way. I was delighted to learn that God was “NOW” not passive towards our trials in life. . .at the same time, I was gripped with one question about Church almost from the beginning: ‘This is great, but where are all the Jews?’
I have distinct memory of thinking that very thing as I stood in the sanctuary of the first church we return to God in. A televangelist preaching prosperity that never manifested materially in our lives – and a message that put me off the more I read the Bible. But not once have I thought better of the question I turned aside like Moses to see: church is great, but without the Jews it is incomplete.
The Israeli Jews are being starved out in ministry resources because too few Christians have turned aside to see what God is doing among them. They are like the burning bush of our day. Would I dare to think I could live in great prosperity while they are in increasing strangleholds of lack of ministry resources? No, I do not dare to think that way. Their plight is my plight, just like their vindication will be my vindication and it will come undeniably from God.
Will God use you? First you have NOTICE what God wants you to notice – like a tree engulfed in fire yet not consumed by it.
