Aim True with God’s Target

The biggest problem I see with Church prophecy is not knowing what God’s aim is in the last days. If any prophet has not grasped God’s purposes for Israel as expressed throughout the whole Bible, then that prophet cannot accurately interpret the words they receive from the Holy Spirit. If that prophet cannot read the Word of God and see the ongoing love of God for His people Israel, that prophet is a detrimental influence in the season we are living. We must humble themselves or be humbled as God demonstrates His great love toward Israel in the days ahead. The world may attack Israel, but God is the one preserving her.
Years ago Asher Intrater spoke at an Israel Mandate Conference around 2005 or so that if a prophet does not know what the target is, then the trajectory of their arrows are going to miss the target face entirely. That is why we see prophetic words like arrows flying wildly in every which direction except in the direction of God’s target for us.
Personally, that is what I see right now as I listen to most Christian prophets because they have no sense of what God is orchestrating among us in the last days. His priority or target is unifying the whole of His spiritual family into oneness. Only this oneness between Christians and Messianic Jews, will facilitate “all Israel shall be saved” and the final great harvest so many Christians are expectant of.
It is not a coincidence that Israeli believers need us Christians to assist them in prayers and finances to hare the Gospel with Israelis. God has made them dependent on our help, and has blocked the ability of Christians to be extraordinarily effective in trying to evangelize Israel too. The only way Israel comes to faith in huge numbers is through the body of Messiah in Israel aided by Christian prayers and finances. And the only way Christians will see huge numbers of salvations throughout the world, is to do this thing God wants from us: to assist our spiritual family in Israel with what they need to share their faith.
That is exactly WHY GOD HAS PRIORITIZED our unity as a family. As Israel comes to faith over the coming years more and more, salvation among the nations (Goyim/Gentiles) will increase too. It is “Life from the dead” that is released as a spiritually mature Church enters into the family unity with Messianic Israel in the faith of Yeshua/Jesus.
I highlight Messianic Israel, because it is part of God’s restoration plan of the Jewish people, not only to restore the Jewish state, but to restore Jews to that Promised Land where He has purposed to complete their spiritual restoration. The Israeli spiritual restoration is already fully in progress now. How could any Bible reader miss that fact? But many do, and some even think they are supposed to ignore the Israeli Messianic believers in Israel and connect only with the unsaved Israelis. I love and support all Israel, but my connection is with the spiritual family in Israel. They are the ones God has called me to support with my all.
This is not saying the Jewish part of the body of the Lord are perfect, not any more than the Christians of the nations are perfect. The Holy Spirit does the perfecting. Unfortunately, there are MANY in Christian prophetic who think they have already arrived even as they have almost ZERO awareness or regard for God’s purposes to bring Israel into faith, in their own land of promise, BEFORE the return of Jesus to the earth.
Too many Christians dismiss the increase of Jews coming to faith in Yeshua/Jesus and they certainly reject the idea that God give a darn about Israel! They just don’t think Israel matters and that Jews coming to faith just means they became Christians. It’s a really arrogant attitude to cop seeing how much of the Bible is about the Chosen People, not to mention the Apostle Paul’s warning not to think like that.
There are many Christians who regard those of us who know Israel matters as being spiritually lower than them. We are the unenlightened, “hooked on the Law, not the Spirit, or these days accused of being “tribal’. Not tribal, but Family of God-minded instead.
Whatever they think it matters not to me except that I am truly concerned that at this point in the seasons of God’s dealings with mankind, that their blindness remains to God’s own testimony in His Word!
Restoration is what God has in mind for Israel. The Church that ignores that reality is a Church that refuses to love whom God loves.
One of the key scriptures I like to keep before my eyes is Isaiah 52:8, “Your watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.”
Brothers and sisters: can you not see that God is right now bringing again Zion? God’s target, His bull’s eye, is the unity of His Jewish family and His Christian family from the nations in the faith of Jesus.
There are many wonderful things that Christian leaders, including Christian prophets, have to break open to us all, but not having had their eyes opened to what God expresses of His covenant faithfulness to Israel so greatly handicaps their message especially in these days. They may hold fast to a Christ-centric message, but if they miss the Messiah-centric messages from God in His Word, it will be as Jesus said in Matthew 13:12 “For whoever has, it will be given to him, and he will be in abundance. And whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
I believe this works the same for Messianic Jews who reject Christians because of the persecutions in Jewish exile and the ongoing rejection by the Church of Messianic faith. Both sides of the family must accept and even embrace one another. It is that simple. The spiritual Hatfield’s and McCoy’s are not going to be in God’s family in the end!
To hit the prophetic mark of God, we have to know what His target is.
