Ruins of the Church of the Nicaean Council Hidden Underwater (Video Screensave)

Did you know that after the first century apostles died that there was a gradual loss of connection among the churches established by the Apostle Paul and others among the non-Jewish churches?

Before Paul was arrested in Jerusalem and imprisoned in Rome, he established an offering be set up among all the churches he established. The offerings were collected over about a three year period before Paul, along  with representatives from each church, brought the donations to Jerusalem. The donations were for the Apostles to administer. The purpose was to help sustain “the poor” body of Messiah to continue to minister in Israel.

By 318 AD no churches had continued sending financial assistance, even though Paul knowingly paid for delivering it with his freedom.

As he made his journey to Jerusalem to carry the FIRST donation from ALL the Churches, prophets came out warning Paul that if he continued forward, he would be arrested. Paul already knew there would be harsh consequences for him delivering this important financial gift to the Apostles in Jerusalem for sustaining their ministry and for assisting Jewish believers in Israel.

In Paul’s letters to the churches four out of six times that Paul uses the phrase, “the poor,” he is clearly in context referencing the poor believers in Judea.  One of the remaining two is in reference to himself.  (Ro 15:26, 1 Cor 16:1, 15; 2 Cor 9:1, :12-13). They were of the Jewish people, but were shunned because of faith in Yeshua. It has been much the same today as then and it the reason for much of the lack of financial blessing among the body of Messiah and their ministries in Israel.

  • Seed Bed of Genesis

Grok created image “In the Beginning”

Last Days Content Found “In the Beginning”
From the Seed Bed of Genesis
    Part 1

I began to reread the Genesis chapters about God’s call on each of the Patriarchs beginning with Abram wanting to confirm the accuracy of my memory and verify my facts. It was to make sure the article I was writing, the Barren Matriarchs of Israel, was true to the biblical account. The details of how Abram’s call by God was necessary. As I began to reread about Abram’s call, I found much, much more than I had ever seen before. It was supposed to be a ‘quick’ fact check but God had other plans. When I came upon The War of the Kings it was out of nowhere! I did not remember ever really seeing it, but as I saw it now, it was clear to me it had application for the days we live in. The deeper I studied the brief account, the more convinced I became that it was something we needed to know for the days we live.

That discovery made me slow down in my reread of Genesis to take a more focused sweep of God’s “seed bed” of all his plans. In the past I learned that God progressively revealed His plans throughout the Bible and throughout the expanse of human history. Genesis is the seed bed of the main thing God is doing among us. He is creating a family. Genesis is the account of the first human beings God chose for His family. That makes their experiences of critical importance to us because He is still in the process of forming us for His family too.

God’s purpose in calling out Abram is the same purpose He called you out too: ‘in order to form a more perfect union’. We are to be a unity of Jew and the peoples of the nations who are God’s family. It is a family that transcends the families of Adam and Eve. God is going to restore the Garden of Eden for a family He has formed for Himself. Whether you are a Messianic Jew or a Christian in any nation, it will serve us well to look earnestly at the way God “formed” the first individuals chosen to be in His family.

Referring to accounts in Numbers 16 and 25, Paul tells the Corinthian church, 1 Cor 10:1-4,

“I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud, and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. “

The scripture did not say in vain: their lives were recorded to be examples for us who followed in covenant faith in Jesus. Paul tells them explicitly a few verses later in 10:11:

“Now these things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.”

  • Misjudging Messianic Israel

My Grok AI depiction of the meeting of “the Desposyni” with Pope Silvester in 318 AD, as described by Catholic historian
Malachi Martin in his 1983 book,
The Decline and Fall of the Roman Church.

Having followed the Israeli Messianic ministries closely for two and half decades, I have noticed something about Christian ministers, even some of the very best ministries who help people get free of the things that are strongholds. Freedom from the things of the past that have held us back, can keep us after coming to faith in sorrows, pain and lack. Jesus came to set the captives free. Absolutely. That is not a good explanation for how why Israeli Messianic believers suffer lack of adequate resources, or suffer along with their unsaved countrymen in the distresses of living as an Israeli.

Track with me as I lay down the breadcrumbs God has left for us in the Bible about these things.

My starting place is with Hannah being misjudged by the priest Eli when she was praying within herself at the altar: “In her bitter distress, Hannah prayed to the LORD and wept with many tears.” Then she made a vow to God that if He gave her a son, she would dedicate him to God for all his life.

Now the priest Eli is watching her crying her eyes out at the altar, wordlessly, and concluded she was drunk. He rebuked Hannah. It is easy to make snap judgments about people who are suffering in pain and sorrow. I think we have probably all done it at some point in our lives. But there is a greater spiritual principle being shown here, that I don’t want anyone to miss.

When Eli recognized his misjudgment of the cause of Hannah’s presence at the altar of God, he spoke healing words to her and over her: “Go in peace,” Eli replied, “and may the God of Israel grant the petition you have asked of Him.”

If you are a Christian, this is an account that is for you in relation to how you assess the Israeli body of Messiah.

  • Two Shall Become One

Consider the mystery of Ephesians 2:15-16 making of Jew and Gentile “one new man” with Ephesians 5:32 “great mystery” of “Two Shall Become One”

    Two Shall Become One

For months I have heard Christian prophets giving me wonderfully encouraging words that built me up in the midst of relentless warfare that has been beating me down.

My mind was set to endure all things for the sake of what God has given me to do, but at times the mental exhaustion of it has had me really worn out. I have struggled to overcome the realization that my mailings on behalf of Israeli believer ministries has just about been wiped out. But I have had no real way to assess just how wiped out the lists actually are.

I just knew I had to find an alternative way to keep moving in advocacy for the body of Messiah in Israel.

Of course this was not the entirety of the battles I’ve faced. The beat down was happening on many fronts.

But back to the encouraging words of the Christian prophets. I haven’t paid any attention to Christian prophets for years – a decade and a half probably because I was so put off with the ZERO understanding most have for Israel’s place in God’s full vision for us. I only started listening to Christian prophets again after the attack on IHOPKC/Mike Bickle shut down the leading Christian prophet (of the slim to almost none) who ever considered Israel and how God cherished the Jews and His intent to restore Israel.

It flabbergasts me still that there is so much God has revealed in His Word about that, and in the biblical prophecies that have unfolded in our natural eyes in the past century. How could a prophet miss such things?

  • Dire Straits of Hormuz, 9th of Av & Year of Jubilee

2026 APR Logo Arrows from Zion (600 x ).jpg

    The Dire Straits of Hormuz,
The 9th of AV and The Year of Jubilee
    Israel is God’s Timepiece.

It takes spiritual understanding to know that fact, and to WATCH accordingly.

There were two extremely important reports this week, one concerning Jews who are still in the exile of the nations is a beacon warning light for Jews and Christians alike to see how quickly rebellion against God is unfolding all over the world. The glaring truth is anti-Semitism is the most visible symptom.
         (1) An article posted by the European Jewish Congress on Facebook notes: “A questionnaire calling on people to report the presence of Jewish and Israeli tourists in hotels, accommodation and businesses has begun circulating in Milan. Presented as a “mapping of Zionist tourism,” the initiative effectively encourages the identification and targeting of individuals based on their actual or perceived Jewish identity or nationality. . . . The Italian authorities must act swiftly to ensure those responsible are held accountable and that such dangerous practices are stopped immediately. Dugit’s Chaya Mizrachi informed me that there have been 2 separate attacks against Israelis in Asia and Europe, and while in the USA, they are also being aware not to speak Hebrew in public. It’s a prophetic warning of the times on a worldwide scale.

         (2) The second was good news from the Israeli Remnant of faith: The Israeli government has pulled its funding from an LGBTQ summer event at the ancient site of Sodom & Gomorrah, the Dead Sea. Again, Chaya informed me that, “the Messianic Jewish body in Israel we were on our faces and praying together for this to be canceled and we are so very thankful.”

This is a perfect example of how the Remnant of faith in Israel are a blessing to all Israel – because all Israel cannot understand the spiritual implications of this in the least, but the Remnant can and DID!
In going to prayer over this matter on behalf of Israel, a huge defeat of Israel has been overthrown by those who were praying for Israel to back away from this demonic spiritual event which would have brought hell into Israel by this gateway of demonic activity. Just like when Balaam taught Balak how to bring Israel into sin so they could weaken and conquer Israel! The individual homosexual sins of Israelis still exist, but the government withdrawing funding and support is a significant victory.
I have an article in the Genesis Patriarchs & Matriarchs series I’m writing and one is about the war of the kings. I started it a few weeks ago, but needed was put on hold for the past 3 weeks, and I believe I know why now. There is a connection to that Genesis Sodom and Gomorrah account that gives me greater perspective for this Dead Sea victory in 2026. I will be returning to finish that article immediately after – because I believe this outcome is part of what I’m writing about!

The Literal Dire Straits of Hormuz

AS NEWS HEADLINES HAVE SWIRLED AROUND THE STRAITS OF HORMUZ, it underscores the ramifications of the last three weeks of the Dire Straits spiritually. . .not only in international news, but also in the lives of ALL believers contending in the spiritual battle for God’s Israel.

Arrows Summary of Prayer Points for Israeli Ministries
Prayer Requests & the Chronicles of the Remnant of Faith in Israel

    MalespinChaimDeanna2026 (131 x 85).jpg

Chaim Malespin, The Faithful Galileans & Aliyah Return Center writes, “Join us: Intercede with Purpose and Promise” | Paga (פָּגַע) — to intercede; to meet; to light upon; to reach; also to strike, to press. Amad BaPeretz (עָמַדבַּפֶּרֶץ) — to stand in the breach; to place oneself in the gap|As in Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”

One of the Hebrew words for intercession is “paga” (פָּגַע). This word carries the sense of contact, encounter, and forceful engagement. It can mean to meet someone, to press against something, or to arrive at a place with intention. Intercession, therefore, is not passive or casual. It is intentional, persistent, and deeply engaged. When Jacob wrestled through the night and refused to let go until he received a blessing (Genesis 32:24–29), he embodied the heart of “paga”.

Intercession is not a gentle suggestion offered from a distance. It is the determined pursuit of God by someone who understands what is at stake and refuses to walk away without an answer.

Throughout Scripture, God raises up men and women who stand in the gap for others. . . . This same invitation is extended to us. We can take hold of God’s promises and pray earnestly on behalf of our families, communities, and nations. Intercession is not persuading a reluctant God. It is partnering with His heart and purposes through persistent prayer. God is searching for those who will stand in the gap . . . . we are invited to stand on God’s Word, contend for His promises, and faithfully carry the needs of others before His throne. Take Action: During your time with the Lord, ask Him if there is a person, family, community, or situation for which He is calling you to stand in the gap. Write it down. Commit to praying for it every day this week. Bring Scripture into your prayers, reminding God of the promises He has spoken.  | Sow into the Vertical House of Prayer | Watch Chaim’s report on the War has Resumed

    DoronReuvenMaryLou2025cropped (111 x 85).jpg

Reuven Doron, OneNewManToday, writes about Jubilee: The Real Great Reset |Leviticus 25 is where God instructs Israel to observe the Year of Jubilee. Reuven writes, Every 50 years, the nation of Israel was commanded to perform a “GREAT RESET.” That reset was meant to trigger massive and irreversible societal, economical and financial changes that would touch the life of EVERY citizen of Israel. A concise formula of the “Jubilee Laws” meant that at each 50 years’ cycle, EVERY SLAVE was set free; EVERY DEBT was cancelled; and ALL LANDS were handed back to their original tribal owners. This was a total nationwide socio-economic reset. To our knowledge, Israel never had the faith to fulfill this commandment to its fullest, and we understand the reasons why. Can you imagine such cyclical radical shifts performed in our world today? Banks would collapse. The credit system would fall apart. Real-estate markets would lose their value, and massive amounts of people would be reintroduced overnight into a free economy. Israel never had the faith or trust in God to be so cast on Him, and neither would any other people group upon this earth.”
. . . .THE FINAL & ULTIMATE JUBILEE | This was what the Lord Yeshua said in His dramatic “introductory message” at the Nazareth synagogue. (Luke 4)  He opened the scroll and quoted Isaiah’s most potent Messianic prophecy, saying, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable (most probably a Jubilee) year of the LORD…”
. . . . The closer we advance towards the end of the age and the coming of the Lord, the less value this world holds for us. Our real possessions, investments, and interests are eternal, in heaven, and the most meaningful thing we have here on earth is time. Time to grow in the spirit; time to die to the flesh; and time to mature in Messiah. Time is running out.”

Daniel and Shirya Yahav of the Tiberias Peniel Fellowship send an excellent teaching on Deuteronomy 25:17-18 about how Amalek attacked the “stragglers” when the children of Israel were led out of Egypt. The stragglers were vulnerable to attack at the rear because they were dragging their feet: “faint and weary and did not fear God.” This is a warning example for us all today.
DD: We are told in the last days that the enemy will carry out the same strategy against believers in a war of attrition against the vulnerable believers who do not trust God’s promises, and become exhausted and give up hope. Daniel 7:25 describes it this way: and shall wear out the saints of the most High.” (bᵊlā’ means to wear out in a mental sense by constant harassment)

In congregational news: Summer activities for youth/children and high school grads preparing for army duties. Hosted by German & Swiss friends, summer vacation was a hiking trip in the Swiss Alps & a time of fellowship & experiencing God in His majestic creation. All the older teen boys paid their own way. | Daniel participated in an Israel and Arab pastors conference in the Middle East. He taught on Yeshua in the Old Testamant. The Jordanian pastor who organized the event was once an anti-Israeli believer in replacement theology – but God changed his heart. “Today he is working diligently in spreading God’s truth to other pastors in the Arab speaking world. . . . As to the Druze community we have previously shared about, we have contact with two new believers from among them, which we would appreciate your prayers for. They are very fragile, and as you may know, this community is very closed and it is unacceptable to believe in anything else than their religion.”

From David & Josie Silver, Out of Zion’s 7’17 Carmel Alert, this article by son Stefan Silver on the Dire Straits. Stefan also leads the Kerem-El congregation. The dates this year of the Dire Straits are: between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av (July 2-24, 2026). Stefan explains how historically, “They commemorate the darkest chapter in Jerusalem’s history, when the city was placed under siege, its walls breached, and ultimately the Temple destroyed, both times on the same Hebrew date, the 9th of Av….
“Scripture often uses the imagery of narrowness to describe times of pressure and distress. In Psalm 118:5-7 we read: “Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me in a broad place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” The Hebrew word translated “distress” is “metzar” – literally, a narrow place. It paints the picture of someone hemmed in, pressed from all sides with no obvious way forward. The reality is that there are seasons when God’s people feel surrounded – politically, militarily, and spiritually. That contrast lies at the heart of this season too when Israel once again finds itself in such a narrow place.” To read more

Youval & Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel ask an important question: “Jesus asked it this way: “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26) | We live in a world that constantly tells us to pursue success, comfort, recognition, and personal fulfillment. But Jesus gently asks a deeper question: What is your heart truly longing for?” This was a major focus in the Camp Connexion in France.  Pray with Revive Israel that “the seeds planted during Camp Connexion would continue to grow and bear lasting fruit in every young person’s life” and for all the Discipleship efforts by this ministry devoted to raising up quality disciples of the Messiah in Israel.

Guy Cohen, a native Israel leading a congregation in his birthplace of Acco called the Harvest of Asher, has been penning such powerful articles and sharing on his Facebook page, like: ‘I Was Blind Bur Now I See’. You may not love Facebook — I know I don’t! —but it is worth having an account there just to read the things like these articles from Guy Cohen.  Here are more recent articles you will enjoy: “Who Is a Jew? When the Jewish State Puts Jews to the Test” and “From Returning to Scripture to Loving Israel, Dedicated to the memory of Lindsey Graham…A Call to the Friends of Israel”. I truly appreciate Guy Cohen. Every time I have been able to see him, he has impressed me with his unassuming demeanor and the clear indications of a man of serious integrity. And he walks in a great spiritual insight and anointing. Harvest of Asher is making a difference in ‘the Crusader port of Acco, Israel, which is also the land inheritance God gave to the tribe of Asher in the Promised Land.’

    CohenMoti2025 (61 x 80).jpg

Moti Cohen, another native Israel leading the Tel Aviv congregation, Tiferet Yeshua, writes: “I once heard someone say that ministry to the homeless and drug addicts wasn’t worth the effort because you hardly ever see fruit. I can honestly say that, after years of serving homeless and drug addicts, every week I head to the streets with expectation in my heart because God always prepares so many amazing encounters. It is true that getting off the streets and into drug rehabilitation programs is very difficult for the addicts, and it used to happen only occasionally. However, in recent years we have seen more and more people getting off the streets and into drug rehab programs thanks to the grace of God, first and foremost, and also the relationships and trust we have established with them over time. At the moment, three men we helped get off the street are in Messianic drug rehab programs. . . .
During His ministry in the Land of Israel, Yeshua served the poor and needy, meeting the needs of the sick and the broken, feeding the hungry and reaching the outcasts of Israel with the love of the Father. We started the Feed Tel Aviv outreach as a way to do the works Yeshua Himself so selflessly did, to proclaim that God’s Kingdom is at hand and that Yeshua is the way, the truth and the life. As we go out to minister each week, we know that we cannot continue this very important ministry without your prayers and support! Support us in this life-giving work of the Lord.

Christian Arab Prophetic intercessor Rania Seyegh of the Nazareth House of Prayer & Exploits (HOPE) just celebrated a birthday, but is celebrating even more that they have raised $14,000 toward the Oct 2-3, 2026 annual Arab Deborah’s Arising conference. This will draw women across the Arab world to come into an encounter with the Lord to strength their calling of influence in their families, communities, churches and nations. Rania is a true “one new (wo)man” with a heart for Arab Christians and for Israeli Messianic Jews to grow in the unity of God’s purpose for them as a witness to all the nations. They sponsor all the women so they can attend, and now are closing in with only $16,000 left to raise for the conference. 47% of the way is paid. Can you help?

    FieldsofWheatEitanJoelRuby (164 x 100).jpg

Eitan Shishkoff, founder of Fields of Wheat in northern Israel, explains the WHY? of their FOW camps for the Israeli teens – three each year.  Eitan explains that “Since the 2nd century, both Jews and Christians have been indoctrinated with the concept that you cannot believe in Jesus AND be Jewish. To overturn such a diabolical lie there would have to be a companion revolution—Hebrew-speaking Yeshua followers, living a genuine Jewish life within Israeli society. It soon became evident that only by equipping the youth to be those “revolutionaries” could we overturn this lie….This is our WHY: The central importance of Israel’s youth in bringing the nation to Yeshua. By giving ourselves to them and seeing their lives change, we can change the false narrative concerning Jesus and the Jewish people. We have found that spiritually focused, intensive youth camp experiences achieve that inner change. Twenty-five years of camps have produced the current generation of young leaders in families, congregations, businesses, and the Israeli Defense Force, where our “graduates” are now sowing seeds for Yeshua’s end-time harvest. This is a great start, but there’s much more to be done…we are still only .003% of the Jewish citizens of Israel.
“CONNECTED” our 2026 Summer Camp (August 8-13) already has 100 teens registered. Please pray for God’s hand to be on every young person and every counselor from the time they leave home until they return. This camp is crucial. Because of war we had to cancel our Passover camp last spring. Pray for the deep presence of the Lord to touch every heart in a lasting way. Give to help our work.

Dani & LuAnne Sayag leading the Carmel Congregation write, “As summer began, we were blessed to gather children from ages 6–12 for a special three-day camp focusing on the life of Joseph. Throughout the camp, every activity, Bible lesson, small group, game, and worship time pointed to one powerful truth: God is faithful, even in the darkest seasons of our lives.”
This is a lesson EVERY BELIEVER should camp out on: “Joseph’s journey was filled with hardship. He was rejected by his brothers, thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, and imprisoned unjustly. Yet through every trial, God remained with him, transforming what others intended for evil into His good purposes.

Forged in the Fires of Life

One of my good friends in Israel, Miriam Abramov, posted a similar graphic that prompted me to write this. I believe that I have related to the Israelis Messianic ministries so well because my life has been somewhat in parallel to the things they as a people have endured. That is one reason that as I returned to faith I was so captivated by the book of Isaiah. I knew the prophet was speaking to Israel as God was commenting on what their ‘life experience’ had been and would be – with the promises always included. God always said that in the end of it all, there was good for them from Him and He would reward them double for all they had been through.

You know, Job wasn’t wrong in so many of his arguments, he had walked uprightly before God and was undeserving of all the hell that fell on him instigated by the enemy. Just because God tells Job off at the end does not mean in any sense that Job was deserving of the evils that befell him, including friends piling on speculations about what he must have done to deserve such punishment from God. It was never from God.

    Here’s a thought for you.

You know how churches that committed to true racially integrated congregations did away with thinking in terms of “white church” or “black church”? I just had the thought, and I will gladly say it was more likely a God-thought than a Donna-thought, that until we can get to the point that we can see ourselves as God’s whole family, a unity that transcends even “Israel and the Church” we are not going to move into a LOT of things God wants for us.

Until we understand and embrace that we are moving toward the magnificent climax of the crescendo we are already in the midst of, we will not be living out the things God wants from us ahead of the Second Coming.

Yes, the unique aspects of Israel and the Church will still exist, just exactly as the differences between husbands and wives continue after marriage changes their relationship and status in the eyes of God.

Saved Israel and the Church, like husband and wife, are in a union, but only in a unity when we are seeing ourselves as God views the oneness of a marriage. After marriage we are increasingly becoming a family, and saved Israel and the Church will only ever come close to being in the spiritual state and position God wants us in when we see ourselves not as entirely separate entities, but as a whole family.

We have to have a paradigm shift. There was the Israel history and then there was the Church history, but now we are clearly headed into a whole new realm of God’s kingdom. We must start looking at ourselves as a whole people – a whole Family of God.

  • Aim True with God’s Target

    Missing God's Mark
If our Pastors & Prophets can’t see what God’s Target is for Us as One Family, that’s Missing His Mark by a Mile

The biggest problem I see with Church prophecy is not knowing what God’s aim is in the last days. If any prophet has not grasped God’s purposes for Israel as expressed throughout the whole Bible, then that prophet cannot accurately interpret the words they receive from the Holy Spirit. If that prophet cannot read the Word of God and see the ongoing love of God for His people Israel, that prophet is a detrimental influence in the season we are living. We must humble themselves or be humbled as God demonstrates His great love toward Israel in the days ahead. The world may attack Israel, but God is the one preserving her.

Years ago Asher Intrater spoke at an Israel Mandate Conference around 2005 or so that if a prophet does not know what the target is, then the trajectory of their arrows are going to miss the target face entirely. That is why we see prophetic words like arrows flying wildly in every which direction except in the direction of God’s target for us.

Personally, that is what I see right now as I listen to most Christian prophets because they have no sense of what God is orchestrating among us in the last days. His priority or target is unifying the whole of His spiritual family into oneness. Only this oneness between Christians and Messianic Jews, will facilitate “all Israel shall be saved” and the final great harvest so many Christians are expectant of.

  • Pregnant with Zion

    Pregnant with Zion

THERE IS A BIBLICAL PROPHETIC PRINCIPLE HERE THAT MOST CHRISTIANS DO NOT RECOGNIZE: In the final days before the return of Jesus to the earth, watch Israel because what the world does to Israel, the nations are going to do to their Christians within them.

It is because in the end, we Jews and Christians who embrace each other as joined in the family of God by our faith in Israel’s Messiah, are all going to be persecuted in the same way.

We’re in this thing together just as God wants us to be. Chosen People all of us who embrace “one new man” by faith in God’s Son. This birthing experience is bringing forth Zion.

  • Jacob Got a Bad Rap – He ‘Stole’ Nothing

In the end Jacob and Esau reconcile

July 14 2026: For several months now during my ‘writing week’ between the bi-weekly compiling of the Arrows Summary of Prayer Requests and Activities of the Israel Believers Ministries, God has had me taking a fresh look at the Genesis accounts of the beginning formation of His family on earth.

The reason is that these things have bearing on how, at the end, when God accomplishes the joining of His whole family together as one — as expressed in Ephesians 2:15 as the unity of “one new man” in the faith of His Son — there are things in Genesis we need to reconsider. God is wrapping up the plan for bringing His whole family together on earth as one.

One like Jesus said, “the Father and I are One” in John 10:30. In John 17:20-21 Yeshua tells us that in God’s completed plan we will be brought into the same state of unity: “I am not asking on behalf of them alone (the Jewish believers), but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me (the Christian believers) through their (Jewish believers) message, that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

Now at the beginning of the end of these things, God is directing us back to “In the beginning” so we might now see the things we missed, misconstrued, or otherwise did not take into proper account of what God is doing at “the end.” Genesis is the seedbed of all God’s plans.

God is wrapping up His thousands-of-years plan to form a FAMILY from within mankind. In this eternal family will be both the family line from the Genesis Patriarchs and Matriarchs and in our day, the Christians who recognize and embrace what God has been creating among us and for us.

God is the judge of all matters and all individuals that have ever lived or ever will live. He makes His choices, and what we think about that is not the issue. Some believe God wrote Israel and the Jews off long ago. The real shocker for them is going to be discovering that “good Christians” today are going to find themselves written off.

If we cannot come to grips with God’s right to choose whom He chooses, sadly we will not make the cut for God’s eternal family. He has made His choice plain in His Word. To remain blind to how He has stated what He is doing will leave many saying, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? And in Your name have cast out devils? And in Your name done many wonderful works?”

In the days ahead we will see that those Christians who refuse to accept God’s whole family — including the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel — are going to be proven to be “workers of iniquity.” It is impossible to be a faithful servant of Jesus and refuse to see God’s people Israel. This is not a dual covenant, but the revelation of Israel’s Messiah to the Jews is already happening.

I must say this over and over: It is not enough to just write an article about how the Patriarch Jacob has gotten a worse reputation than he deserved.
